Abstract

Stunting, kondisi gagal tumbuh kronis akibat malnutrisi, merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan di Indonesia dengan dampak serius pada perkembangan kognitif dan produktivitas di masa depan. Meskipun intervensi seringkali berfokus pada balita, prevalensi stunting pada anak usia sekolah dasar masih mengkhawatirkan dan kurang mendapatkan perhatian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis determinan sosial dan lingkungan sekolah yang berkontribusi terhadap kejadian stunting pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross-sectional, penelitian ini akan melibatkan pengukuran antropometri (tinggi badan, berat badan) dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner terstruktur mengenai karakteristik sosio-demografi, status ekonomi keluarga, pendidikan orang tua, pola asuh, sanitasi rumah tangga, akses air bersih, serta program gizi dan fasilitas sanitasi di sekolah. Analisis data akan memanfaatkan regresi logistik untuk menguji hubungan multivariat antara faktor-faktor independen dan stunting, serta uji Chi-square/alternatif. Temuan yang diharapkan akan menguraikan pengaruh multifaset dari faktor sosial (seperti status sosial ekonomi, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, dukungan komunitas) dan lingkungan sekolah (seperti sanitasi, akses air bersih, pengetahuan gizi) terhadap stunting. Selain itu, penelitian ini akan membahas peran edukasi gizi dan kader kesehatan dalam mitigasi stunting serta implikasi jangka panjang kondisi ini. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mendalam untuk pengembangan intervensi yang terarah dan holistik, yang disesuaikan dengan konteks lokal, guna mengurangi prevalensi stunting pada anak usia sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The low quality of basic education in Indonesia remains a problem that affects student learning outcomes. One of the causes is a lack of discipline and motivation to learn, which play an important role in shaping a positive attitude towards learning. Poor learning discipline, such as the habit of procrastinating and arriving late, has an impact on the irregularity of the student learning process. Meanwhile, weak learning motivation causes students to become easily bored, unenthusiastic, and lacking the drive to achieve optimal performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of learning discipline and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, through a review of various relevant previous research results. The results of the study show that learning discipline has a positive effect on shaping students' regularity, responsibility, and perseverance, while learning motivation plays a role in fostering enthusiasm, persistence, and interest in learning among students. The two complement each other in encouraging better learning outcomes. The implications of this study emphasise the important role of teachers and schools in instilling discipline and motivating students through positive behaviour habits, the use of engaging learning methods, and the creation of a conducive learning environment. ABSTRAK Rendahnya mutu pendidikan dasar di Indonesia masih menjadi permasalahan yang memengaruhi capaian hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya disiplin dan motivasi belajar yang berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap belajar yang positif. Disiplin belajar yang rendah, seperti kebiasaan menunda tugas dan datang terlambat, berdampak pada ketidakteraturan proses belajar siswa. Sementara itu, motivasi belajar yang lemah menyebabkan siswa mudah jenuh, kurang bersemangat, serta tidak memiliki dorongan untuk mencapai prestasi optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui penelaahan berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin belajar berpengaruh positif dalam membentuk keteraturan, tanggung jawab, dan ketekunan siswa, sedangkan motivasi belajar berperan dalam menumbuhkan semangat, kegigihan, dan minat belajar siswa. Keduanya saling melengkapi dalam mendorong pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru dan sekolah dalam menanamkan disiplin serta memotivasi siswa melalui pembiasaan perilaku positif, penggunaan metode pembelajaran menarik, dan penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Kata Kunci: disiplin belajar, motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, sekolah dasar, regulasi diri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis transformasi kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi selama mengikuti Program Asistensi Mengajar di SMAN 5 Mataram periode bulan September sampai Desember 2025. Kompetensi pedagogik meliputi kemampuan adaptasi, inovasi pembelajaran, dan manajemen kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan sumber data berupa laporan mingguan, supervisi guru pamong, dan refleksi diri mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa bertransformasi dari canggung menjadi percaya diri dalam mengelola kelas, mampu merancang Modul Ajar Deep Learning berbasis Project Based Learning serta memanfaatkan media digital, dan menerapkan strategi diferensiasi untuk mengakomodasi berbagai gaya belajar siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Program Asistensi Mengajar mempersiapkan mahasiswa menjadi pendidik profesional yang adaptif dan inovatif.

Abstract

Character value internalization is an essential aspect of elementary education aimed at shaping students’ holistic personality. One relevant source of character values in the Indonesian educational context is the values of Kebunghataan, derived from Mohammad Hatta’s ideas, which emphasize honesty, responsibility, independence, democratic attitudes, and social justice. This study aims to describe the process of internalizing and transforming Kebunghataan values through integrated thematic learning in elementary schools. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects included elementary school teachers and students, while data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that Kebunghataan values can be effectively internalized through integrated thematic learning by embedding these values into learning objectives, instructional materials, learning activities, and teacher role modeling. Value transformation occurs when students not only understand the values conceptually but also demonstrate behaviors that reflect these values in learning activities and social interactions at school. This study concludes that integrated thematic learning has strong potential as a strategic approach to strengthening character education based on Kebunghataan values in elementary schools.

Abstract

Improving Children’s Gross Motor Skills Through Throwing and Catching Ball Activities in Group B at PAUD Ababil. Thesis. Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bina Bangsa. The main purpose of this study was to improve children's gross motor skills through throwing and catching ball activities in Group B at PAUD Ababil. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a collaborative approach. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 children, consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. Data were collected through observation and documentation using checklist observation sheets. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that in Cycle I, the average achievement of children's gross motor skills reached 56.66% with the category of Developing as Expected (BSH). In Cycle II, the children's gross motor skills increased significantly to 80.55% with the category of Developing Very Well (BSB). This result indicates that the success indicator of the study had been achieved. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that throwing and catching ball activities can improve the gross motor skills of children in Group B at PAUD Ababil.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Google Sites –based interactive media using a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach on cognitive learning outcomes and students’ attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity among fifth-grade elementary school students, as well as to examine the correlation between these two variables. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Matching-Only Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of class VA as the experimental group (20 students), class VB as the control group (20 students), and class VIA as the instrument try-out class. The research instruments included an essay test to measure cognitive learning outcomes and an observation sheet to assess attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and attitude questionnaires, while data analysis involved descriptive analysis, prerequisite testing, Independent Samples t-test, and Pearson correlation analysis. The results indicate that the use of Google Sites –based interactive media with a CRT approach has a significant effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes and their attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. Furthermore, a strong and positive correlation was found between cognitive learning outcomes and attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. These findings suggest that integrating digital media with a CRT approach is effective in teaching Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The urgency of this study arises from the suboptimal integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles and School Self-Evaluation (EDM) in managing the quality of basic education, particularly in ensuring continuous, data-driven improvement. Previous studies have predominantly examined TQM or EDM separately, resulting in a limited understanding of their combined implementation within elementary school contexts. This study aims to analyze the implementation of basic education quality management through the integration of TQM and EDM, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing its application. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis as primary data collection techniques. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that EDM functions as a strategic foundation for quality planning and control through the PPEPP cycle (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement), which aligns closely with core TQM principles such as continuous improvement, stakeholder involvement, and evidence-based decision making. These results imply that the integration of TQM and EDM strengthens a systematic and sustainable quality management system in elementary schools. The novelty of this study lies in an integrative conceptual framework that positions EDM as a strategic instrument in the implementation of TQM within basic education, an area that has received limited scholarly attention. This research contributes theoretically to the advancement of educational quality management studies and practically provides guidance for schools and policymakers in improving basic education quality through self-evaluation-based management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of sports extracurricular activities on the social skills of elementary school students in Cluster II Kasihan, Bantul. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of all elementary school students in Cluster II Kasihan Bantul, with a sample of 110 students selected using purposive sampling, specifically students who participated in sports extracurricular activities. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires using a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results showed a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.743 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a strong and positive relationship between sports extracurricular activities and students’ social skills. Furthermore, the regression analysis revealed an R Square value of 0.552, meaning that sports extracurricular activities contributed 55.2% to the variation in students’ social skills. These findings indicate that sports extracurricular activities have a significant effect on improving elementary school students’ social skills. Therefore, optimizing sports extracurricular programs is important to support students’ social development at the elementary education level. Abstract

Learning evaluation is a crucial component of the educational system that functions to measure the achievement of learning objectives. However, evaluation practices that focus solely on learning outcomes often neglect aspects of humanity, fairness, and the individual conditions of students. This article aims to examine the concept and implementation of the rahmah-based evaluation system in education as a humanistic, fair, and empathy-oriented evaluation approach. The rahmah evaluation system emphasizes the learning process, holistic student development, and the provision of constructive feedback without causing psychological pressure. The method employed in this study is a literature review by analyzing various sources related to educational evaluation, humanistic approaches, and rahmah values in learning. The findings indicate that the rahmah evaluation system is capable of creating a more positive learning environment, increasing students’ learning motivation, and promoting balanced cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Therefore, the rahmah evaluation system can serve as a relevant alternative evaluation approach in the context of modern education that is oriented toward character development and human values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh memudarnya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dimiliki peserta didik di tengah perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih serta kurangnya media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif sehingga siswa kurang semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun dan menghasilkan media komik digital berbasis kearifan lokal Tri Hita Karana pada materi ekosistem siswa kelas V sekolah dasar yang telah teruji validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu: (1) analyze (analisis), (2) design (perancangan), (3) development (pegembangan), (4) implementation (implementasi), (5) evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek penelitian ini adalah media komik digital berbasis kearifan lokal Tri Hita Karana pada materi ekosistem, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas. Metode dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kuesioner, tes dan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu: (1) rata-rata hasil validitas menurut ahli materi pembelajaran sebesar 4,71 dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) rata-rata hasil validitas menurut ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 4,67 dengan kategori sangat baik. (3) rata-rata kepraktisan oleh guru sebesar 4,86 dengan kategori sangat baik, rata-rata kepraktisan oleh siswa sebesar 4,82 dengan kategori sangat baik. (4) hasil uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 (taraf signifikansi 5%).
