Abstract

Abstract— Laptop usage among students is very important to support the activities and associated costs. There are some conditions of use which are not ergonomic laptop for students, among others, the position of the use of a laptop or desk while no means the use of laptops in the user environment, until the condition of the laptop that is not placed on the surface of the correct. One solution is to use a laptop as a medium backpack laptop-carrier wherever that may be used at once as a table as the supporting facilities to operate the laptop with a more ergonomic. To design such products can use the methods of Quality Functional Deployment (QFD) and further product Assembly analysis using the method of Design for Assembly (DFA). From the results of data collection, data processing and data analysis, it has been concluded that the products are designed is a multifunctional laptop backpack bag products, where these products is a laptop backpack that can be turned into a table, sitting with laptop product development priorities, namely the form of a table that can be folded and made of aluminium, with several other priority specifications in accordance with the results of the analysis using the QFD method. In addition it also acquired a large number of constituent components of a product that is as much as 21 components for sub products backpack laptop, as well as 4 components for sub products desk laptop. Other results obtained through analysis of the DFA is the estimation of the cost of production and Assembly of the products with a total of Rp. 261,500,-, estimated time of Assembly products for maximum 847.3 minutes, as well as the value of the efficiency of the Assembly is 20.2% for sub products backpack laptop, and 1.4% for sub products desk laptop.Keywords— DFA, Multifunctional, QFD, Redesign, Laptop backpack bag. Abstrak— Penggunaan laptop di kalangan mahasiswa sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan perkuliahan. Terdapat beberapa kondisi penggunaan laptop yang tidak ergonomis bagi mahasiswa, antara lain posisi penggunaan laptop saat tidak ada meja ataupun sarana penggunaan laptop di lingkungan pengguna, hingga kondisi laptop yang tidak diletakkan pada permukaan yang benar. Salah satu solusi adalah dengan menggunakan tas ransel laptop sebagai media pembawa laptop kemanapun yang dapat digunakan sekaligus sebagai meja sebagai fasilitas penunjang untuk mengoperasikan laptop dengan lebih ergonomis. Untuk merancang produk tersebut dapat menggunakan metode Quality Functional Deployment (QFD) dan analisa perakitan produk lebih lanjut menggunakan metode Design for Assembly (DFA). Dari hasil pengumpulan data, pengolahan data dan analisa data, telah disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dirancang ialah produk tas ransel laptop multifungsi, dimana produk ini merupakan sebuah tas ransel laptop yang dapat berubah menjadi meja laptop lesehan, dengan prioritas pengembangan produk yaitu bentuk meja yang dapat dilipat dan berbahan aluminium, dengan beberapa spesifikasi prioritas lainnya sesuai dengan hasil analisa menggunakan metode QFD. Selain itu diperoleh pula banyaknya jumlah komponen penyusun produk yaitu sebanyak 21 komponen untuk sub produk tas ransel laptop, serta 4 komponen untuk sub produk meja laptop. Hasil lain yang diperoleh melalui analisa DFA adalah estimasi biaya produksi dan perakitan produk yaitu dengan total Rp. 261.500,-, estimasi waktu perakitan produk selama maksimum 847,3 menit, serta nilai efisiensi perakitan adalah sebesar 20,2% untuk sub produk tas ransel laptop, dan 1,4% untuk sub produk meja laptop.     Kata kunci— DFA, Multifungsi, QFD, Perancangan ulang, Tas Laptop.

Abstract

Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) merupakan sebuah masalah logistik yang banyak diteliti oleh para ilmuwan. Salah satu algoritma yang populer untuk menyelesaikannya adalah Algoritma Savings. Jika perhitungan Algoritma Savings dilakukan secara manual tentu akan banyak menghabiskan waktu, oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah aplikasi untuk membantu menyelesaikan perhitungannya. Visual Basic Application for Excel (VBA Excel) dapat digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi ini. Aplikasi yang dihasilkannya ini dapat menyelesaikan perhitungan Algoritma Savings, walaupun sampai saat ini hanya cocok untuk keperluan latihan dan sebagai media pembelajaran, aplikasi ini masih bisa dikembangkan lagi.

Abstract

Abstract— Utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) in education becomes an absolute thing to do, in order to improve the quality of education, service effectiveness and become a strength for higher education institutions. One application of aspects of ICT in college is academic web. In the Faculty of Engineering University Singaperbangsa Karawang, academic information system is known by the web SIAKAD (Academic Information System) Faculty of Engineering Unsika. Web SIAKAD FT Unsika aims to manage data and facilitate the integration associated with academic information, but on its application may occur mismatch between procedures established in the web with its implementation. Therefore, please note the behavior of SIAKAD web users, also conducted testing of the academic web interface. This is considering that the web SIAKAD FT Unsika is still in development stage. Stages in this study started from a preliminary study of the use of the web SIAKAD and continued with research on the usability of the web SIAKAD. From the results of the study note that there are five dimensions that affect web usability SIAKAD FT Unsika that must be repaired by the web developers, namely Responsiveness (RS), Web design (WD), Assurance (A), Readability (RD), and Navigation (N).Keywords— academic web; usability; university

Abstract

Abstract—Yarico Collection Trad. Co. is a company engaged in clothing convection for the last 12 years. One of the problems faced by this company is the number of defective products that exceed the defect tolerance limits set by the company. The company sets a defect limit of 1% of the total production, while in the field the number of defects is 3%. This study aims to find out the priorities of the causes of disability and find out how to reduce the number of defects related to women's Muslim clothing that occur in the cutting process of 20 units from 1250 units, the process of sewing or unifying clothes by 22 units out of 1250 units, the process of closing down 19 units out of 1250 unit, and the pressing process is 14 units out of 1250 units. The researcher used the Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) method to obtain the most dominant failure mode of production process, the calculation of Risk Priority Number (RPN) generated in the pressing process with RPN 504 value, sewing process with RPN 448 value, the process of stitching stitches with RPN value 392, and the cutting process with the RPN value 384. From the results of the study obtained several proposals according to the highest RPN value to reduce the number of product defects, including: for cutting defects by adding lighting and periodic machine maintenance, for sewing defects scheduled and the use of components that are standard, for defects in obras are made machine maintenance scheduling, the use of spare parts that are standardized, and using a strongbranded needle, for defects in the pressing process by doing good engine maintenance and providing training to workers with use temperature machine according to the type of fabric. Keywords ; product defect, quality improvement, FMEA, RPN Abstrak— PD. Yarico Collection merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang konveksi pakaian selama 12 tahun terakhir. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan ini yaitu jumlah produk cacat yang melebihi batas tolerasi cacat yang di tetapkan oleh perusahaan. Perusahaan menetapkan batas cacat yaitu 1 % dari jumlah peroduksi sedangkan dilapangan jumlah cacat sebesar 3 %. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengatehaui prioritas penyebab cacat dan mengetahui bagaimana cara menurunkan jumlah cacat terkait baju muslim wanita yang terjadi pada proses cutting sebesar 20 unit dari 1250 unit, proses penjahitan atau penyatuan baju sebesar 22 unit dari 1250 unit, proses obras sebesar 19 unit dari 1250 unit, dan pada proses pressing sebesar 14 unit dari 1250 unit. Peneliti menggunakan metode Failure Modes Efect Analysis (FMEA) sehingga didapat mode kegagalan paling dominan diproses produksi, hasil perhitungan Risk Priority Number (RPN) yang dihasilkan pada proses pressing dengan nilai RPN 504, proses penjahitan dengan nilai RPN 448, proses obras jahitan dengan nilai RPN 392, dan pada proses cutting dengan nilai RPN 384. Dari hasil penelitian didapat beberapa usulan sesuai nilai RPN tertinggi untuk menurunkan jumlah cacat produk, diantaranya : untuk cacat cutting dengan melakukan penambahan penerangan serta melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala, untuk cacat penjahitan melakukan perawatan mesin secara terjadwal serta penggunaan komponen yang sesuai standard, untuk cacat pada obras dibuat penjadwalan perawatan mesin, penggunaan spare part yang sesuai standar, dan menggunakan jarum obras yeng berbahan kuat, untuk cacat pada proses pressing dengan melakukan perawatan mesin yang baik serta memberika pelatihan kepada pekerja dengan penggunaan suhu mesin sesuai jenis kain.Kata Kunci : Cacat Produk, Quality Improvement, FMEA, RPNa

Abstract

Abstract— Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are business sectors that play an important role as a backbone of a nation or region"s economics. Most problems faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are capital, management and production process. This study aims to give strategic proposals in expanding small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang for conserving traditional food. The methods used in this research are internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), and strengths- weaknesses - opportunities - threats (SWOT), so internal factors and external factors that faced by the small and medium enterprises can be identified. Based on SWOT analysis, some analysis strategy can be used to expand the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang. Result showed the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang were in first quadrant at SWOT cartesian diagram, meant the right strategies were strengths opportunities (SO) or Growth strategy. The strategies that will be used are local government holds traditional food festival, upgrade the quality of the product and use on-line marketing technology. In conclusion, the sales of gethuk pisang products from small and medium enterprises can increase and correlate with income increase, so small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of gethuk pisang can have competitiveness and grow.Keywords— Strategy, Gethuk pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT.  Abstrak— Usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) merupakan suatu sektor usaha yang memiliki peran penting sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian suatu negara atau daerah. Sebagian besar permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi UKM adalah permodalan, manajemen, dan proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan strategi dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang dalam melestarikan makanan tradisional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan Strengths–Weaknesses - Opportunities-Threats (SWOT), sehingga dapat diidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal yang dimiliki dan faktor-faktor eksternal yang dihadapi oleh UKM. Berdasarkan analisa SWOT, maka akan diperoleh beberapa alternatif strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UKM gethuk pisang berada di kuadran I pada diagram kartesius SWOT, yang berarti strategi yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi Strengths Opportunities (SO) atau strategi Growth. Strategi-strategi yang akan digunakan adalah: Pemerintah Daerah mengadakan festival makanan tradisional,  mutu produk lebih ditingkatkan, dan memanfaatkan teknologi media pemasaran on-line. Dengan demikian, produk UKM gethuk pisang dapat terjadi peningkatan penjualan dan berkorelasi dengan peningkatan pendapatan, sehingga UKM gethuk pisang memiliki daya saing dan dapat berkembang.Kata kunci — Strategi, Gethuk Pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT

Abstract

Abstract— The success of a college is influenced by various factors, both internal and external factors of the organization. Faculty of Engineering Suryakancana University is one of the many universities that manage higher education that must be able to survive from various challenges, obstacles and competition with other university institutions. This study aims to formulate the right strategy for Faculty of Engineering Universitas Suryakancana able to compete with the existing universities in Cianjur and in the West Java Province. The method used in this research is by combining several methods among others Balanced Scorecard, Sun-Tzu, Quality Function Deployment, and SWOT Analysis. Based on the result of research there are several formulation of strategy that must be implemented by Faculty of Engineering Suryakancana University, among others the implementation of quality assurance system, improvement of lecturer's resources, strict student selection, sharpening of vision and mission of college, and implementation of internal supervision system.Keywords: SWOT analysis, BSC, QFD, Sun-Tzu Strategy, Strategy Formulation

Abstract

Abstract— The development of a good automotive industry attracts investors to invest in this industry. The current investment grows into one of the lifestyles of modern society. Individuals or groups who have excess resources will do this activity. The purpose of the investment is to earn a profit or gain additional wealth in the future. There are various forms of investment that are on real assets, financial assets, or securities (stocks, bonds, deposits, and others). Automotive companies that go public serve as subjects in this study. Because the automotive company is a rapidly growing industry. In addition, the automotive industry stocks are among the most actively traded stocks, so the stock price moves quite actively. Based on these thoughts, the authors conducted a study on the design of the model of stock returns on automotive companies that go public. The design of research model refers to the basic model of stock return. Model design on the influence of return on investment, economic value added and stock liquidity by trading volume activity method to stock return. Research data obtained by way of documentation from data of automotive companies listed in Indonesia stock exchange in the year 2013-2016. The data obtained are used to test the model empirically by using multiple linear regression method with time series problem. From the test results, it is known that roi, eva and tva effect simultaneously on stock return and for the model of each variable is explained from the results of the hypothesis that roi is accepted which means partially positive effect on stock return, while for eva and tva is rejected which means no effect on stock returns.Keywords :  Return On Inverstment, Economic Value Added, Trading Volume Activity, Stock Return Abastrak - Perkembangan industri otomotif yang baik menarik para investor untuk melakukan investasi pada industri ini. Investasi saat ini tumbuh menjadi salah satu gaya hidup masyarakat modern. Individu ataupun kelompok yang memiliki kelebihan sumber daya akan melakukan kegiatan ini. Tujuan dari investasi adalah untuk mendapatkan keuntungan atau mendapatkan tambahan kekayaan di masa yang akan datang. Ada berbagai macam bentuk dari investasi yaitu pada aktiva riil, aktiva finansial, atau sekuritas (saham, obligasi, deposito,dan lainnya). Perusahaan otomotif yang go public dijadikan sebagai subyek dalam penelitian ini. Dikarenakan perusahaan otomotif merupakan industri yang berkembang dengan pesat. Selain itu saham-saham industri otomotif termasuk ke dalam saham yang paling aktif diperdagangkan, sehingga harga sahamnya pun bergerak cukup aktif. Berasarkan pemikiran tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai perancangan model return saham pada perusahaan otomotif yang go public. Perancangan model penelitian merujuk pada model dasar mengenai return saham. Perancangan model mengenai pengaruh return on investment, economic value added dan likuiditas saham dengan metoda trading volume activity terhadap return saham. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara dokumentasi dari data  perusahaan otomotif yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia pada tahun 2013-2016. Data yang diperoleh digunakan untuk menguji model secara empiris dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan permasalahan time series. Dari hasil pengujian, diketahui bahwa roi, eva dan tva berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap return saham dan untuk model dari masing-masing variabel dijelaskan dari hasil hipotesis yang menunjukan bahwa roi diterima yang berarti berpengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap return saham, sedangkan untuk eva dan tva ditolak yang berarti tidak berpengaruh terhadap return saham.Kata kunci : Return On Inverstment, Economic Value Added, Trading Volume Activity, Return Saham

Abstract

Abstract— PT. Eastern Modern Apparel is engaged in garment production. The company has experienced financial constraints. This is marked by the dismissal of some employees. Research is done to determine the prediction of bankruptcy of the company. Methodology that has been done in this research are conducting interviews with the company, field study, financial data retrieval. The step is done to meet the data needs in the next step. The next step is data processing using Altman Z-Score method. Processing consists of X1 = Working Capital Ratio against Total Assets, X2 = Retained Earnings Ratio against Total Assets, X3 = EBIT Ratio against Total Assets, X4 = Market Equity Value Threshold on Book Value of Debt. X5 = Sales to Total Assets. Processed data is in the period 2014, 2015, and 2016. The process produces Z-Score value for each period. Z-Score calculation results in the period 2014 = 3.91, 2015 = 3.19, and 2016 = 2.83. While the limits of healthy company according to calculations Almant Z-Score of> 2.675. Then the results of Altman Z-Score calculations on the company is said to be healthy, because the results exceed the limits of the healthy category. Abstract

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces various furniture products. The company has two product categories, first category A (as standard products) with production system is make to stock the second is category B (custom products) with production system is make to order. Production time products category B is more than longer than production time product category B. Production department’s PT XYZ arise problem when face high demand. Limitations of production’s resources cause bottleneck in lines production and inability to meet demand. In addition, inaccuracies in allocating limited resources will causing descent of throughput. Optimization of limited resources needs to be done to reach the maximum throughput. This research was conducted to find out the production resources that become constraintss in fulfilling demand, the number of each type of product must be produced at the existing capacity to achieve optimal throughput and identify and analyze solutions to problems of limited production resources. The results of the study conclude that the production resources that become constraintss are man power and man hours. The maximum throughput that can be achieved by PT XYZ by optimizing the existing available resources is Rp. 819,148,490, and there are two types of products that cannot be fulfilled. Increased production capacity can be done with several alternatives, such as over time hours, out sourcing operators (freelancers), subcontracting of production, adding man power with recruitment of new operator and their combinations. The optimal throughput is Rp 1,056. 763,100 could be obtained from using alternative resource from recruiting new operator and combination with over time capacities.

Abstract

Abstract— Distortion of supply chain information in the industry can cause a mismatch between supply and demand, thus causing the bullwhip effect. One method that can be applied to overcome information distortion as the cause of the bullwhip effect is vendor managing inventory (VMI), where the needs of distributors and retail are controlled and monitored by the supplier. This study aims to measure the bullwhip effect on the supply chain at suppliers and producers, and propose VMI designs on supply chains at suppliers and producers. The research was carried out by calculating the value of the demand for the retail, producer and supplier, while the repairs were carried out by forecasting demand by then performing a VMI simulation for recalculating the bullwhip effect. The results showed that the value of the bullwhip effect on suppliers (Mahoni Lestari PD), producers (PD Kurbiti), and retailers (PD Nur Sofi) changed from 1,246, 1,073 and 1,118 (all above the bullwhip effect parameter 1,040) to 1.Key words— Bullwhip effect; Vendor Manage Inventory (VMI); supply chain Abstrak— Distorsi informasi rantai pasok pada industri dapat menyebabkan ketidak sesuaian antara pasokan dan permintaan, sehingga menyebabkan bullwhip effect. Salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi distorsi informasi sebagai penyebab bullwhip effect adalah vendor manage inventory (VMI), dimana kebutuhan distributor dan ritel dikontrol dan dimonitori oleh pihak supplier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur bullwhip effect pada rantai pasok di supplier dan produsen, serta Mengusulkan rancangan VMI pada rantai pasok di supplier dan produsen. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai amplikasi permintaan pada ritel, produsen dan supplier, sedangkan untuk perbaikan dilakukan dengan peramalan permintaan dengan kemudian melakukan simulasi VMI untuk perhitungan kembali bullwhip effect. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai bullwhip effect pada pemasok (PD Mahoni Lestari), produsen (PD Kurbiti), dan retailer (PD Nur Sofi) berubah dari 1,246, 1.073 dan 1,118 (semua diatas bullwhip effect parameter 1,040) menjadi 1.Kata kunci— Bullwhip effect; Vendor Manage Inventory (VMI); rantai pasok
