Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of Islamic therapy in addressing academic anxiety among santri (Islamic students) through the integration of clinical psychology with spiritual approaches. Conducted at Pesantren Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan, North Labuhanbatu, this qualitative study explores how Islamic therapeutic interventions can complement conventional psychological treatment for academic anxiety. The findings reveal that Islamic therapy, incorporating elements such as dhikr (remembrance of Allah), dua (supplication), Quranic recitation, and spiritual counseling, significantly reduces academic anxiety levels among santri. The integration of clinical psychology principles with Islamic spiritual practices creates a holistic therapeutic approach that addresses both psychological and spiritual dimensions of anxiety. This study contributes to the development of culturally sensitive mental health interventions in Islamic educational settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep moderasi beragama dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Hadits dalam pendidikan, melalui muatan bahan ajar berupa buku teks mata pelajaran Al-Islam jenjang SMP Muhammadiyah.  Munculnya moderasi beragama sebagai solusi terkait adanya fenomena berbagai krisis global yang mengakibatkan konflik dan perpecahan. Disebabkan oleh faktor pemikiran manusia dalam memahami setiap konteks tanpa dasar kebijaksanaan. Sehingga perlu adanya pemikiran secara moderat dan luas tentang pemahaman yang diperoleh. Padahal, jika dilihat dari ajaran Islam, Islam mengajarkan manusia untuk menjaga kerukunan melalui toleransi, kesetaraan, moderasi dan persaudaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan mencari berbagai sumber data literatur yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan indikator nilai moderasi beragama dalam buku teks mata pelajaran Al-Islam kelas VIII dan IX yaitu tawasuth (moderat), tasamuh (toleransi), la’unf (anti kekerasan). Dengan demikian, sudah sepantasnya setiap manusia, terutama umat Islam, memiliki sikap moderat, terutama dalam hal agama.

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of knowing how the true nature of human beings. In writing this article, the author uses a descriptive method (library research) or known as literature review. The sources we took came from several other articles as well as printed books. With this article, the author will answer several problem formulations, namely how the concept of human creation, how the process of human creation, what is the purpose of human creation, what is the function of human creation, and how the implications of human creation on Islamic education. It is important for us to first recognize humans as objects of Islamic education studies so that Islamic education applied can be appropriate and can balance human functions as creatures, educators and students, as well as servants of Allah and the caliph of Allah. That way human identity as human kamil or kaffah Muslims can be said to be perfect.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is that many members who neglect the prayer cause the active of participation in following majlis ta’lim not followed by obedience in performing shalat, The purpose of this research is to find out perceptions of mothers of Majlis ta'lim Nurul Huda Desa Lawang Agung about prayer through following the teaching of majlis ta'lim Nurul Huda activity at Lawang Agung Village, Pondok Tinggi Subdistrict, Sungai Penuh city and to know the forms of teaching activities, and to know the supporting factors and the obstacle factors of Majlis Ta’lim on the implementation of devout religious characters in performing ibadah mahdhah, especially in shalat. The results of this research found that the understanding of housewives about shalat there are four criteria, there are: the mothers know and understand about shalat, able to Apply their Understanding in Practice, able to interpret the value of shalat in the form of deeds, and able to actualize the value of Salat in the form of Behavior and Action. Based on the results of the research above can be concluded that the the implementation of obedient religious character of Majlis Ta’lim members through majlis ta’lim teaching activities can be used as a momentum to improve the faithful and devotion to Allah SWT especially in performing shalat.

Abstract

Character education is an important foundation in the formation of a young generation that is not only academically intelligent but also noble. SMA Budisatrya is committed to implementing character education through the integration of moral values into the curriculum and school culture. This approach aims to create individuals with integrity, responsibility and the ability to face the challenges of the modern era. This study aims to analyse the implementation of the character education policy at Budisatrya High School, including the strategies used and the challenges faced. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations at Budisatrya High School. The research informants consisted of the principal and teachers. The implementation of character education at Budisatrya High School is carried out through school culture such as 5S (smile, greeting, greeting, politeness, courtesy) and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) programme. Challenges faced include the diversity of student backgrounds, time constraints, and the influence of social media. Collaboration between school, family and community is an important factor in ensuring consistency in the implementation of character values. Evaluation results show that the implemented character education is able to create a more conducive school environment and encourage students to practice moral values in their daily lives.

Abstract

The aim of Islamic education is to create individuals who are obedient and submissive to Allah's commands, possess good intellectual abilities, have good character, are able to develop themselves, and are able to take an active role in advancing the lives of humanity. The purpose of Allah SWT in creating human beings and sending His prophets should be the foundation for the goals of Islamic education. In this regard, Islamic education should be directed towards efforts to realize the will of Allah SWT so that humans can achieve His satisfaction and follow the example of His prophets. Therefore, Islamic education should be aligned with the goals of Allah SWT in creating humans and providing guidance through His prophets. This research is a literature study that examines the nature of the goals of Islamic education. The literature review method includes indirect observation or looking at web platforms, internet, books, and other sources. Then, based on several expert opinions, which are presented in the form of notes, an analysis is conducted on relevant facts related to the predetermined topic. Goals are a standard of ability that can be identified and used as a guide in planning and directing efforts towards achieving other goals. Moreover, goals also serve as a limitation in decision-making, allowing us to focus on the objectives that we want to achieve.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the principal in maintaining the quality of education at State Elementary School (SDN) 068/XI Kerinci, Jambi, focusing on the design, implementation, and evaluation of school management. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, with the principal as the primary instrument and teachers, students, and parents as supporting instruments. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted through data collection, presentation, condensation, and drawing conclusions. Key findings of this study include: 1) the establishment of the school’s vision and mission, along with the design of intra and extracurricular activities to sustain educational continuity, 2) the appointment of coordinators with subject teachers and extracurricular supervisors to strengthen the existence of education, 3) the provision of rewards and motivation for outstanding teachers and students, positively impacting the sustainability of education, and 4) the implementation of weekly, quarterly, and semester evaluations, which contribute to educational success and student achievement. This study concludes that the principal’s role significantly influences the success of educational institutions in maintaining the existence and quality of education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Teaching materials are very important for students to help students in understanding the subject matter. Good teaching materials should not only contain knowledge, but also contain spiritual, social, and emotional intelligence. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research related to the development of teaching materials that are integrated verses of the Qur'an. The method used in this study is the literature review method In this study, researchers reviewed relevant online journals related to the development of integrated teaching materials for Qur'anic verses in science learning. Articles were analyzed in the 2017-2023 timeframe. This study used data obtained from reputable online journal articles published on the internet with a period of 2017-2023. Journal search using Google Scholar database with medium and high quality by entering the keywords "Teaching Materials", "Qur'anic Verses", and "Science Learning". The results showed that teaching materials integrated with verses of the Quran are very suitable, feasible and effective if used in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam menanamkan atau menerapkan dari nilai-nilai religius pada anak usia dini di Al- Arbain. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memegang peran yang penting pada pembentukan dari karakter religius anak-anak usia dini melalui metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kreatif. Guru secara aktif menanamkan nilai-nilai religius seperti doa, berbagi, dan perilaku sopan melalui kegiatan sehari-hari di kelas. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam proses ini, terutama keterbatasan waktu di sekolah dan kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua di rumah. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua dalam pendidikan religius anak sangat diperlukan. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua melalui program parenting dan kegiatan religius keluarga untuk memastikan kontinuitas pendidikan nilai religius di rumah. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pembiasaan yang konsisten dan keteladanan dalam membentuk perilaku religius pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

It is strongly connected to the strategies used throughout the teaching and learning process in education. A teacher has to master the technique in order to meet the predetermined objectives. Students will learn the required lesson material if the proper techniques are used, in line with the subject matter, the circumstances, and the current conditions. After realising the value of approaches and techniques in education, educators must be skilled in creating these strategies. Education professionals need to be aware of the benefits and drawbacks of each approach being utilised if they want to encourage students to be more critical and participatory in the learning process. The fact that pupils get their intended outcome with this strategy is the most crucial factor. This study's aim is to explain the kind of instructional practises used in Islamic schools.
