Abstract

Abstract: The guidance of worship for female santri is quite interesting, considering the santri who live in Ma’had Aljamiah IAIN Pontianak come from various educational background ranging from high school, MA, Islamic Boarding School and even SMK. These different educational background,the researcher wanted to explore the methods used by the coaches in Ma’had in coaching the worship of female santri of Ma’had al-jamiah IAIN Pontianak. The goals to determine and describe the development of worship of female santri. Occured from the implementation of religious,guidance, supporting and inhibiting factors of religious guidance of female santri. The focus of the research is how to develop worship in female santri of Mahad Aljamiah IAIN Pontianak,from the implementation of worship coaching, supporting and inhibiting factors for fostering worship in female santri. This research was conducted using using qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data in this study were collected through interviews and documentation. The data result indicates that the implementation of religious guidance for female santri Mahad Aljamiah is carried out according to the plan. The purpose of fostering worship in female santri is toget closer to Allah, discipline in performing prayers and reciting the Quran and it is hoped that the guidance of such worship can be prevented and avoided from heinous and evil acts. Therefore, in implementation several methods are used including lecture, exemplary, habituation, giving advice, supervising and applying punishment. Supporting factors for internal worship development is willingness and awareness of santri, the quality of the ustadz and ustadzah, peers and absences. For external is the support of students parents. As for the internal inhibiting factors such as laziness and the condition of water in the Mahad and for the externall is the afternoon class schedule. Abstract

Abstract: This article explores the progressive style of Islamic education and education philosophy initiated by Omar Muhammad at-Toumy Asy-Syaibani. In conducting the exploration, the author uses a qualitative literature research method with the primary source of the book Falsafatu at-Tarbiyah al-Islamiyah by Omar at-Toumy. The results of this paper are a progressive style in the concept of Omar's Islamic education philosophy, including (1) the concept of Tawazun (balanced) and I'tidal (proportional) applied by Omar in formulating the philosophy of Islamic education accommodating the characteristics of progressivism in education in general and at the same time providing a new color in Islamic progressivism. Omar's concept of tawazun was poured into seeing reality, seeing the process of humans getting knowledge, and sources of knowledge and knowledge that are considered valid. (2) Emphasizing individual and societal change for the better, (3) The philosophy of Islamic education is following the community environment's realities (environmentalism) and can be practiced, not utopian ideas. (4) The philosophy of Islamic education is dynamic (dynamic) which can be changed at any time according to the demands of the times (5) Humans (education subjects) as creatures (natural realities) are the best according to Islamic teachings and have intelligence (instrumentalism) as natural resources and potential in solving all problems in the world, besides that he can prosper or take advantage of all the potential that exists in his life (6) The principle of justice and equality in society (students). A progressive style can be seen in (1) The existence of practical and realistic concepts in Islamic education, not only dwelling on information and theory, (2) According to him, an educator must maintain the differences that students have. , given that students have different potentials. (3) The goals of education are also very dynamic, they are adapted to the times, and (4) The curriculum in Islamic education must also be dynamic and flexible with the times. Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a pluralistic country consisting of many ethnicities, religions, races and intergroups, abbreviated as SARA. The issue of SARA is interesting to discuss because SARA can be the uniqueness of an area or become a disaster if it is not regulated properly. On this occasion, the author focused on the discussion about the implementation of interfaith tolerance at SMA Negeri 8 Singkawang. This school is a multi-religious school, with 80 Muslim students, 73 Christian students, and 96 Catholic students with a total of 249 students for the 2019-2020 school year. The results showed that tolerance between religious communities in schools is an important thing, especially for public schools where students are multi-religious and there are many forms of interfaith tolerance implementation as part of the commitment to maintaining national unity and integrity. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the local wisdom of kemponan which is still carried out by the Malay community. Kemponan is an expression related to the activity of offering food and drink to other people who have a causal bond when they refuse the offer. This study uses qualitative research to gather information from the community, religious, customary, and community leaders who still apply "kemponan" in their daily lives. The Kemponan which is considered mystical is then analyzed in terms of Islamic aqidah and morals to find the cultural link between the culture and the Muslim community who carry it out. Keywords: local wisdom, kemponan, and Islamic worldview

Abstract

Abstract: The government implemented an online learning system for all elements of education in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, this policy is not implemented in traditional educational institutions such as pesantren. This paper describes the education system, disaster mitigation and strategies of the Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School Pontianak City during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a field research type and uses interviews and documentation as to its data collection techniques collected from July to September 2021. There are three results in this paper. First, Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School continues to implement a face-to-face education system (Offline) while still implementing health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School carried out the last two stages well of the three stages that should be implemented in every educational institution, namely planning and sustainability (except preparation) properly. It is proven that none of the students, educators and education staff at the Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School has confirmed Covid-19 since it first appeared in West Kalimantan until now. Third, there are two strategies carried out by Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School to stay afloat during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely maintaining cleanliness according to the Arabic proverb and opening a business in the form of gallon water. This last strategy was used by the management of the Al-Hasani Islamic Boarding School to cover the shortcomings of the costs needed for the needs of students and their learning system. Keywords: Education System, Disaster Mitigation, Strategy, Boarding School, Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of fitrah as human potential in the process of Islamic education. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach, with library research data collection techniques, namely the author collects library data related to this research to be able to answer the problems specified. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that fitrah is a human potential given by Allah SWT in the form of sight, hearing, and heart, all of which are related to one another. Hearing is in charge of maintaining the knowledge that has been obtained from the teaching and learning process, vision is in charge of developing and adding knowledge from the results of research and study, while the heart is in charge of cleaning science from all bad qualities. Keywords: Fitrah; Human Potential; Islamic Education

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the concept of moral education proposed by Imam Al Ghazali and its relation to Islamic education in Indonesia and its contextualization of current Islamic education. Moral education is still often a topic that is discussed until now the phenomenon of criminal acts that occur in the community is a serious problem for the decline of people's morals. This research was conducted using the literature method by taking data from books, journals, and other websites. Moral education according to Imam Al Ghazali defines morals as one of the attitudes contained in humans and is the cause of the emergence of other behaviors, as easy that does not require prior planning The concept of Imam Al Ghazali's moral education is still relevant to be used today. Keywords. Abstract

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of learning, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI), and presents its challenges for educators and students to quickly adapt the learning process from conventional to online internet-based learning or e-learning using various applications. This paper aims to examine what challenges and innovations in PAI learning are faced during the Covid-19 pandemic at the SMK Informatika in Serang City. The type of research used by the researcher is the descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques using the research library and filling out questionnaires. The main data sources in this study were PAI subject educators and class XII students of SMK Informatika Serang and some literature. The results and conclusions in this study are: (a) SMK Informatika answers the challenges of online learning by creating an E-Learning application for SMK Informatika. (b) Educators and students at SMK Informatika agree that the role of teachers cannot be replaced by technological sophistication, especially PAI teachers who are tasked with shaping the character of students. (c) PAI educators in SMK Informatika innovate to conduct online and offline meetings regularly to inculcate character as the main goal of PAI (Blended Learning). (d) Family, Community, and Educators are the three main pillars of education, synergizing, supporting each other and their roles cannot be separated so that the main goal of PAI learning, namely character building, can be achieved even though learning is carried out online.Keyword: Challenges, Covid-19 Pandemic, Innovation, PAI Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to describe and analyze the implementation and implications of moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School. The type of this research, namely qualitative research using a case study approach. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The implementation of moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School, namely: 1) Applying an anti-violence view of life in the invitation of Islam or in learning through the principles of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An-Nahdiyin. 2) Adopting the principles of modern life and all its derivatives such as science and technology, democracy, human rights but also filtering them. 3) using rational thinking in approaching and understanding the source of Islamic teachings through inculcating morals with classical books and their own writings so that they are not liberal. 4) The use of a contextual approach in understanding the sources of Islamic teachings. The implications of implementing moderate Islamic values through multicultural-based education at Baburrohmah Islamic Vocational School, namely the creation of a moderate character in students inside and outside and at the time of taking and at the end of their education at the institution.Keywords: Moderate Islam, Multicultural Education, and Learning Implementation.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the process of implementing digital literacy based learning to streghthen religious moderation at SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga. The background of the writing of this article is cases of intolerance that still occur in Indonesia, even in schools. In fact, schools are educational institutions that are at the forefront of preventing radicalism and intolerance in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach, the type of field research, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation, data analysis techniques using data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Digital literacy-based religious moderation learning at SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga was carried out in the form of an assignment to write in the form of personal experiences of associating with followers of other religions, attitudes towards the Republic of Indonesia, and about heroes. The result of this study can be a reference for schools at Indonesia in implementing digital literacy based learning to streghthen religious moderation. Keywords: Learning, Digital Literacy, Religious Moderation
