Abstract

The research roadmap is an important element for the sustainability of higher education in the field of research. Demands for harmony between research conducted in tertiary institutions and national policies are the main key in responding to community needs in the educational aspect of globalization. The purpose of this study is to design a research roadmap for the IAIN Pontianak PAI Study Program in 2022–2030. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with supporting data in the form of research policies on the 2017–2045 National Research Master Plan document, the 2018–2028 National Religious Research Agenda, and the Research and Community Service Roadmap of IAIN Pontianak, as well as data records of the thesis titles of PAI IAIN Pontianak students from 2018–2021. According to the search results, 1) research by PAI students has accommodated RIRN through character research and out-of-school education; ARKAN on 4 themes and 8 sub-themes; and IAIN Pontianak's research roadmap through research with a local Kebornean pattern; and 2) the research roadmap for the PAI IAIN Pontianak study program is directed at achieving graduate profiles and the integration of PAI knowledge with other disciplines so that research results can be published.

Abstract

Numerous students have trouble comprehending concepts relating to Fiqh subject mater, which is why this study was carried out. These learning problems are also exacerbated by the lack of diagnostic testing. In addition, the research intends to describe the design, execution, processing, and reporting of diagnostic assessment results based on earlier diagnoses of the problem. This study approached a qualitative methodology with descriptive methods. The research participant involved 12 students, 1 instructor of Islamic studies, and 2 school administrators. The technique is in the from of document analysis, observation and direct conversation. Data analysis used study were data gathering, condensing, presenting, conclusion and verification. Utilizing member check, source triangulation, time triangulation and engineering triangulation are approaches for validating data. The results of this study are: 1) Diagnostic assessment planning The teacher sets the goals for the assessment, evaluates the material based on the syllabus and lesson plans, uses the previous grid to create the questions, and creates answer keys; be that as it may, do never again look at the inquiries.2) Implementation of the Diagnostic assessment, including setting up the classroom and explaining the rules that students must follow, such as not arriving late, not being honest, participating, sitting together, handing out answer sheets, working on them, and checking them. The learning outcomes of the students improved, learning difficulty was minimized and the learning outcomes enhanced due to the diagnostic assessment performed by the Fiqh subject teachers. The school management ensures that the conduct of the assessment is fraud-free, in fact, free from cheating and that students' learning outcomes improved. The observational results for two classes indicate that some students cheated because the instructor failed to remind them. Questions and answer sheets were collected by the teacher. 3) Processing and communication of the results of the diagnostic evaluation If the results of the evaluation are evaluated correctly, they will be communicated to the students and teachers and various motivational messages will be provided.

Abstract

Teaching methods in education are fundamental in achieving optimal learning outcomes. Active and effective learning methods can motivate students to develop their potential, starting from personality intelligence, morals or character, as well as social skills in society. The development of Islamic religious education in Indonesia is very famous. so that whenever and anyone who studies it will easily get various sources about Islamic education. Islamic education is very important in all times, especially the current era of globalization which is better known as the milenial era, the times of course have an influence on Islamic education in Indonesia, this raises new challenges in the world of education. In the current milenial era, there are so many technologies that facilitate the learning system, this is a challenge for us to utilize and manage technology for the sake of being wiser and useful for the development of Islamic education. because the teaching of Islamic education must develop according to the times without reducing Islamic traditions previous. The data collection process in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature methods and relative thinking which consists of finding, formulating, and identifying problems. The material obtained from the research results will be transcribed and analyzed. The results of this study obtained an effective and efficient method in delivering Islamic education materials, including using the conversational method (hiwar) of the Qur'an and Nabawi, the history of the Qur'an and Nabawi story, Amtsal Qur'ani and nabawi, exemplary, practice and habituation, ibrah or wisdom, targhib and tarhib that are adapted to the lives of the current milenial generation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teacher competence according to Al-Ghazali's view and relate it to modern education. This research is an analytical study of teacher competence according to Al-Ghazali which is in the book Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din about educators. Among the teacher's competencies according to Al-Ghazali is having a sense of affection for their students. In the modern era like now, this competency is expected to be possessed by teachers. This hope, at least, arises because of cases of violence and sexual harassment perpetrated by teachers against their students. The teacher, who should be a role model, actually acts and acts immorally. This is a very worrying fact. Al-Ghazali, one of the famous Muslim figures with his title as hujjatul Islam, has contributed several thoughts related to educator competence. His thoughts are certainly very interesting to be studied in more depth. In more detail, the competencies suggested by Al-Ghazali to be possessed by an educator, will be explained in this article.

Abstract

The symptoms that have occurred so far are of the view that PAI teachers in the assessment only focus on affective and cognitive aspects, this causes the psychomotor domain to be ignored so that special attention needs to be given. Assessment for the psychomotor domain is basically one of the important aspects of the skills that are required to be evaluated in the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of authentic assessment in the psychomotor domain contained in PAI learning at SDN 01 Ujan Mas, Kepahiang Bengkulu Regency. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of research used is field research with research located at SDN 01 Ujan Mas, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu. The informants in this study were PAI teachers at SDN 01 Ujan Mas, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu. In relation to the data collection method, in this study the researchers used the interview, observation and documentation methods. In this study, the data analysis technique used by the researcher is reduction, data display and conclusion drawing and for the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The result of this study is that the implementation of authentic assessment in the psychomotor domain in PAI learning, which is divided into PAI assessment planning for the psychomotor domain, has been carried out well. The implementation of the assessment in the psychomotor domain uses various techniques including practical techniques, for example in discussing the subject matter of worship related to prayer as well as for the instruments used in the assessment that are relevant to what has been designed. For processing the assessment is carried out in the form of numbers which is then followed up on the value obtained in the form of remedial for students who have not completed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive level of school exam questions on Islamic Religious Education subjects based on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy. Bloom's Revised Taxonomy is used as an assessment framework to describe the level of cognitive complexity requested by each exam question. The research method used was content analysis of Islamic Religious Education question banks from several schools covering primary and secondary education levels. The results of the analysis show that most of the Islamic Religious Education exam questions still concentrate on lower cognitive levels such as remembering and understanding. Higher cognitive levels such as applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating are rarely found in these questions. This indicates a tendency to use questions that tend to ask students to remember and understand religious concepts, rather than encouraging critical and analytical thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using E-Learning in English language Teaching for Islamic Education Students at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Pontianak. The use of information and communication technology, particularly E-Learning, has become increasingly important in efforts to enhance the quality of education in higher education, including in English language instruction. This research employs a Research and Development (RD) methodology with the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The findings suggest that the development of E-Learning-based instructional materials has the potential to increase students' motivation, enrich learning resources, and facilitate more effective interaction between lecturers and students, both in face-to-face and non-face-to-face settings. However, the evaluation results indicate that while the instructional materials are relevant to the learning needs and show potential for improving students' understanding and English language skills, the overall effectiveness needs further validation. Data from the evaluation section shows that certain aspects of the materials, particularly in terms of user-friendliness and long-term engagement, require improvement to fully achieve the desired learning outcomes. Therefore, while this research contributes to the improvement of English language teaching for Islamic Education Students at IAIN Pontianak, the results should be interpreted with caution, and further refinement of the materials is necessary.  utilizing E-Learning, learning can become more flexible and accessible anytime and anywhere, thus supporting the achievement of students' competencies more optimally, provided that the materials undergo further development based on the feedback from evaluations.

Abstract

Implementing local traditions and culture in their religious behavior, many do not have Islamic values, some even conflict with Islamic teachings. However, basically culture is something that is quite central in human life. Culture and traditions are also inherent in a particular community group and a particular religion. In the city of Bengkulu there is a Takziyah tradition, which has its own uniqueness and method of implementation. This research aims to describe and explain again how Islamic values are in local traditions and culture of worship in Bengkulu City, in terms of Islamic Law. This research is field research, which examines phenomena directly, as well as reviewing literature related to takziyah. This research concludes that Takziyah in Bengkulu City has Islamic values, namely: the value of helping, the value of solidarity, the value of faith, the value of tolerance and the value of responsibility.

Abstract

People consider that tradition is a crucial thing because it has a meaning that has been passed down from previous generations and is still carried out today. One of the traditions that becomes a focus is Narup tradition in the marriages of the Malay community in Sambas, Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to understand the values of Islamic education contained in the Narup Tradition. The research methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results showed that Narup Tradition is a Malay community custom in weddings, which involves the Walimatul Ursy Council with traditional events such as reading Zikir Nazam and Zikir Al-barzanji at a location that is called as Tarup. The process of implementing the Narup tradition includes some steps such as land preparation, building Tarup, welcoming remarks, Serakalan, Prayer, eating Saprahan, and tearing down Tarup. From the perspective of Islamic educational values, there are values such as musawwah, deliberation, sincerity, trust, mutual cooperation, caring, responsibility, honesty, and discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk melakukan analisis instrumen evaluasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran jarak jauh. Subjek penelitian ini adalah item soal mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dan hasil belajar siswa. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan program ANATES. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari 20 item soal, hanya satu yang memiliki kualitas daya pembeda sangat buruk dan harus ditolak yaitu item soal nomor 17 dengan indeks daya pembeda 0.00, berdasarkan kriteria 0.  Adapun item yang harus diperbaiki adalah item soal no 7 dan 18 karena berada pada indeks daya pembeda 0 D 0.25, tepatnya 20.00 dan 16.67. Dari 180 pengecoh yang digunakan, sebanyak 48 opsi pengecoh harus diperbaiki karena berada pada kategori kurang baik berjumlah 17, buruk berjumlah 21 dan sangat buruk berjumlah 10. Sisa pengecoh sebanyak 132 opsi berkategori baik dan sangat baik.Diharapkan ada perbaikan terhadap instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan. Evaluasi mempertimbangkan tingkat kerumitan, daya pembeda, validitas, dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil belajar siswa cukup baik. Namun, beberapa siswa memperoleh hasil yang kurang memuaskan. Direkomendasikan kepada guru untuk memberikan penanganan pada faktor penyebab internal dan eksternal. Pendelegasian peran pendampingan kepada orang tua pada pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat menjadi solusi. Kombinasi pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi treatment option.
