IQ Jurnal Pendidikan Islam is a scientific journal contains papers drawn from study of critical analysis in the field of Islamic education. This journal contains original works from lecturers, researchers, students, and other concerned parties who have not been published or are not on the publication in the form of articles on the research and conceptual ideas. This journal publishes twice in a year, July and December, which spread throughout Indonesia and South East Asia in printed and online.

<![CDATA[Tajweed knowledge must be mastered by every individual Muslim in order to achieve maximum results related to the worship of reading the Holy Qur'an. Reading the Qur'an when referring to Allah's commands must be done with maximum tartil, namely knowing and obeying every sign. The reward promised by God based on the words of the Messenger of Allah is that whoever reads one letter to him will be rewarded with one goodness which will also be multiplied 10 times. The miracle of the Qur'an does not stop there. When pondered more deeply, the knowledge of Tajweed contains a deep philosophy, not only getting rewards from God, but a deep understanding of its philosophy will produce a thought about internalization, namely guidelines for character formation, or morals in accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is a literature study (library research) and with a thematic interpretation method. The interpretation method is used to dissect the verses relating to entrepreneurial motivation. After conducting a study of entrepreneurial motivation in Islam, namely in the Koran and Hadith, found several things as follows: (1) Alquran's view of entrepreneurial motivation can be found in Surah al-Jumuah verse 10, ash-Shaf verses 10-11 and al-Qashash verse 77. (2) The view of the hadith about entrepreneurial motivation can be found in the hadith text narrated by Imam al-Bukhari sourced from Miqdam Ibn Ma'dikarib ra. and narrated by Ibn Asakir who sourced from ra. (3) The view of the motivation of an entrepreneur is the command to scatter on earth rather than stay in place, then the command to seek the gift of God and remember God a lot. In addition, an entrepreneur is required to help each other or help in goodness and not enrich themselves so as to balance the needs of the world and the hereafter.Abstracts and keywords written in two languages (Indonesian and English). <![CDATA[The discussion in this article focuses on the bureaucracy and cultural behavior of the organization in one of the Islamic educational institutions in the city of Yogyakarta. In this paper the author focuses on Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta in maintaining and advancing its existence towards implementing institutional bureaucracy in building organizational behavior and culture. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection techniques in this paper through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the success of Islamic educational institutions certainly can not be separated from how the role of a dialogic bureaucracy in the distribution of structures, tasks and institutional elements that are formulated through discussion rooms or deliberations, behavior and organizational culture with a rolling job system and instill attitudes of Islamic moral values and preserving the culture of Javanese people by making it a habit to communicate using local languages to instill cultural values by building a sense of ukhuwah in organizing within the scope of the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta]]>

The diversity of the origin of the population, students and school students in Pondok Buntet Pesantren, according to researchers, is important to know the concept of multicultural education in the Pondok Buntet Pesantren environment, Cirebon. Because of that, the researcher derivates his study in the following research questions: What concept of multicultural education is being pursued in the Pondok Buntet Islamic Boarding School environment? To what extent are the roles of pesantren leaders and leaders in the concept of multicultural education being pursued in the Pondok Buntet Pesantren environment? This research is categorized as inductive qualitative research, with a case study method approach. The data analysis technique is the concept of descriptive-exploratory analysis involving three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data display (data dislay), and conclusion drawing (verification).]]>

<![CDATA[The specialty of one of the things that underlies Yogyakarta is called a student city of course because of the educational climate in the region. With a work area that is relatively not too broad and the quantity of institutions that are not too many the Ministry of Religion is one of the government agencies, especially in the field of Islamic Education. This is certainly able to make it as an advantage and convenience in creating the development of Islamic education in the work area that is superior to other work areas. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and study documentation. The results of this study indicate that in general educational policy in the aspect of developing / fostering Islamic Education in the Ministry of Religion in Yogyakarta is more guided than the RI Ministry of Religion program. However, in its implementation in the city of Yogyakarta, these programs are relatively easier to do, one of which is because the area coverage is not too broad. Institutionally, within the framework of the policy of developing Islamic education guidance in the Ministry of Religion of the City of Yogyakarta dividing management responsibilities to three work units, namely the Islamic Education Section (PAIS), the Madrasah Education Section (PENMAD) and the Diniyah Education Section and Islamic Boarding School (PD PONTREN). The Islamic Education Section (PAIS) has a working area on fostering and managing Islamic education in public schools at all levels, the Madrasah Education Section (PENMAD) in Islamic education houses all levels in Madrasas as well as the Diniyah Education and Islamic Boarding Schools (PD PONTREN) responsible responsible for fostering ongoing Islamic education in Madrasah Diniyah including TPA and Islamic Boarding School, so that each of these sections has a policy of developing Islamic Education in its own work program.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of education will not be realized without the presence of educators who are skilled in carrying out the ongoing education process. One of the important teacher skills is communication skills. That is what makes the reason for researchers to take the issue of interpersonal communication of teachers and students with student interest in learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat. In this study, researchers used a correlational analysis method, with a quantitative approach. Data collection tools include: interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. This questionnaire distribution technique uses random sampling techniques. As for processing the data after the data from the questionnaire was obtained, researchers used the formula 'r' product moment. The results showed there was a positive influence or correlation between teacher and student interpersonal communication (Variable X) with student learning interest (Variable Y) in the subjects of Islamic Cultural History.]]>
