Jurnal Natural Science ini memuat artikel yang membahas aspek pendidikan Fisika, metode, model pembelajaran IPA Fisika, inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, dan aspek fisika murni. Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

Research has been conducted on monopoly game learning media using Adobe Flash using the research and development (R & D) research method using the Plomp model. The sample used for testing monopoly game learning media using Adobe Flash was 21 students of VIII B class of Saniangbaka. The testing instrument was validated by the lecturer at Tadris IPA Concentration in Physics UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The test results show a good response to the understanding of students’ concept through practicality result of 86 % and the result of of the effectiviness of learning media monopoly game using Adobe Flash obtained 86,19 %. Result this indicates that learning media in the form of monopoly games using Adobe Flash are suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Physics learning equipments based on the Science Environment Technology and Social Approach (SETS). Learning with the SETS approach is expected to encourage students to understand the concepts of physics well, which can be applied in everyday life. This research uses McKenny's model which consists of preliminary, prototyping stage, and assessment stage. To see the effectiveness of the learning device is done at the assessment stage. At the assessment stage, three assessments are carried out, namely, attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment. The attitude and skills assessment was carried out by two observers by completing the observation questionnaire. Knowledge assessment is done by giving physics questions that have been validated by experts to students. This assessment is carried out in stages and each meeting is held in class by the observer. The results of this study indicate that high school physics learning equipments based on Science Environment technology and Social are in the category of very effective so it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of urea mass and rice type on rice growth. The research was carried out in Kaja's village, Talamau sub-district, West Pasaman district, West Sumatra province from October to December 2020. Two types of Anak Daro and Sokan rice were fertilized using urea fertilizer with a mass of 0.5 gr, 0.6 gr, 0.7 gr, 0.8 gr, and 0.9 gr for each polybag which was given once every 7 days. Rice growth was measured once a week using a ruler. The results show that urea could increase rice growth. The growth of Anak Daro rice with a mass of 0.8 grams gave good growth results with an average growth of 10.9 cm - 24.8 cm and for the growth of Sokan rice plants, namely 11.3 cm - 26.2 cm. while the growth of Anak Daro rice plants that were not fertilized as control only had an average growth of 6.1-11.2 and the growth of Sokan rice plants had a growth of 6.3 - 9.6 cm. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh massa urea dan jenis padi terhadap pertumbuhan padi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kampung kajai, kecamatan Talamau, kabupaten Pasaman barat, provinsi sumatera barat pada bulan oktober sampai desember 2020. Dua jenis padi anak daro dan sokan dipupuk dengan menggunakan pupuk urea dengan massa 0,5 gr, 0,6 gr, 0,7 gr, 0,8 gr dan 0,9 gr pada setiap polibeknya yang diberikan 7 hari sekali. Pertumbuhan padi diukur seminggu sekali dengan menggunakan mistar. Hasil menunjukkan pemberian urea dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan padi. Pertumbuhan padi anak daro dengan massa 0,8 gram memberikan hasil pertumbuhan yang baik dengan rata-rata pertumbuhan yaitu 10,9 cm - 24,8 cm dan untuk pertumbuhan jenis tanaman padi sokan yaitu 11,3 cm - 26,2 cm. sedangkan  pertumbuhan tanaman padi anak daro yang tidak diberi pupuk sebagai kontrol hanya memiliki pertumbuhan rata-rata  6,1-11,2 dan pertumbuhan tanaman padi sokan memiliki pertumbuhan 6,3 - 9,6 cm.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of science and technology in a more rapid expansion. Educators are required to provide a medium that helps learners find their own learning experience in improving their learning interests, one of the media that is Macromedia Flash Pro 8. This type of research development or Research and Development (R & D) model 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Sammel. Instruments used are questionnaire validity, questionnaire of practicality, and questionnaire effectiveness. The results of research are: (1) generated learning media of physics form of CD based on Macromedia Flash Pro 8 animation on wave material related to verses of Al-Quran in class XI department of MIA. (2) the value of product validity based on the assessment of eleven experts with an average rating of all aspects of 89.96% with very valid category. The value of product practicability according to 2 educators and 31 students of class XI MIA 4 in MAN 1 Durian Tarung Padang very practical with the average value of 86% and 87% respectively. Results of product effectiveness on the interest of learning 31 students with an average value of 86% category is very effective to increase interest in physics learners learners.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian terhadap sensor jarak HC-SR04 untuk pengunaannya pada percobaan gerak lurus suatu benda. Alat uji ini terdiri dari sebuah sensor jarak HC-SR04, arduino nano, tombol on/off dan tombol reset. Dari penelitian diperoleh dat karakteristik sensor y = 0,0175x +0,364 dimana x adalah durasi waktu yang dibutuhkan gelombang ultrasonik yang dikirimkan sensor sampai diterima kembali oleh sensor dan y adalah jarak yang diukur dengan mengunakan meteran atau sama dengan hasil pembacaan jarak oleh sensor. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian jarak pembacaan jarak oleh sensor diperoleh y=0,6969x + 7,8255dimana x adalah jarak yang diukur dengan meteran dan y adalah jarak yang dibaca oleh sensor.  Pada pengujian  diperoleh kesalahan deteksi sensor sebesar 17,57% dan pengaruh perpindahan posisi benda terhadap hasil pembacaan jarak oleh sensor sebesar 81,4%. Pencacah waktu pada alat bekerja dengan baik dengan kesalahan rata rata sebesar 0,185 . Sensor HC-SR04 dapat digunakan pada percobaan gerak lurus baik gerak lurus beraturan maupun gerak lurus berubah beraturan sampai sekitar 2 detik pertama pembacaan posisi benda oleh sensor. Sensor HC-SR04 membutuhkan waktu sekitar 1 detik untuk dapat kembali membaca posisi benda dengan benar.

Abstract

Research on multimedia interactive learning has been developed with various kinds of software and forms of instructional media such as material equipped with videos and quizzes. However, researchers developed interactive learning multimedia based on macromedia authorware 7.0 and media forms not only material, videos and quizzes, but also equipped with apperception, al-quran reading and Muslim scientists whose findings are in accordance with the material, namely optical devices and global warming. The purpose of this study is to produce physics-based interactive learning multimedia based on macromedia authorware 7.0 on material for optical devices and global warming class XI SMA / MA that are valid and practical. This research is research and development (research and development) using a 4-D model starting from defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The validity of interactive learning multimedia is measured in terms of the feasibility of content, media and language. Practicality is assessed from the ease of using interactive learning multimedia by educators and students of MAN XI IPA Pesisir Selatan class 2 . The instrument used in the validity and practicality test was a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed by percentage techniques. The results showed that physics-based interactive learning multimedia based on macromedia authorware 7.0 on optical equipment and global warming material in class XI SMA / MA produced a valid and practical and effective interactive learning multimedia physics with very valid criteria (93.26%) and very practical criteria (88.23%).

Abstract

Concentration of learning is one of the vital things in lecturing activities, so distance is a challenge for every student to maintain concentration in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distance between residence and campus on the concentration of learning in the classroom. The method used is to give a questionnaire to students of Biology Education 7C grade. The results of the study showed that in the first and second 5 minutes of learning, students were very concentrated and enthusiastic in learning. Whereas in the third and fourth minutes, students start to lack concentration in learning. The distance of a place to live near, more concentrated when learning takes place compared with the distance of a long house because more time and energy is spent making learning concentration reduced. To overcome this need a break before learning takes place and before learning to do ice breaking activities so that students do not get bored when the material will begin.

Abstract

The fast flow of secularization in the world of education is often an important issue to be aware of in the world of education. The negative side of technological development is related to the degeneration of human morals. The development of science and technology is considered not linear with moral improvement. There is a moral and spiritual crisis in it. This is due to the fact that science tends to see things only from worldly perspectives. Islamization in physics learning is needed to overcome the negative side of the development of science. With Islamization in learning, it is hoped that a process of thinking will be created regarding the relationship between moral and divine science to science. This thinking process is a form of philosophy in education. Philosophy helps everyone understand the moral and normative side of an event that can be related to the teaching material to be explored. With the process of thinking, contemplating, connecting, and drawing correct conclusions about a physical theory, it is hoped that it can help students understand concepts more easily and are easier to remember

Abstract

Telah dilakukan percobaan penentuan konsentrasi larutan kalium permanganate (KmnO4) yang belum diketahui nilainya menggunakan analisis spektoskopi UV-Vis. Data yang diperoleh yaitu berupa panjang gelombang (λ) dan absorbansi (A) untuk tiaplarutan KMnO4 yang sudah diketahui konsentrasinya yaitu 1x10-5 M, 0.5x10-5 M,0.25x10-5 M, 0.1x10-5 M, dan 0.05x10-5 M. Larutan KMnO4 berbagai konsentrasidiperoleh dari pengenceran menggunakan pelarut aquades. Dari data yang diperoleh kemudian dibuat grafik linear sehingga diperoleh persamaan garis linear. Selanjutnya dapat ditetukan nilai absorbtivitas (a) larutan KMnO4 yaitu sebesar 6.0 .107,yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan untuk menentukan konsentrasi KMnO4 yang belum diketahui nilainya menggunakan hukum Lambert-beer. Konsentrasi dari larutan KMnO4 yang belum diketahui nilainya yaitu sebesar 7.93.10-5 M.

Abstract

This development aims to generate and develop Lecture Maker produc in Lessons that meet valid, practical and effective eligibility criteria. This research is a type of research development or Research and Development (R & D) with procedural model adapting 4-D models that define, design, develop and disseminate. Data were obtained from questionnaires given to 2 media experts, 2 material experts, 1 linguist, 2 educators and 40 students. Based on the average result from the validation test by 5 validators by 91%, from the practicality test by 2 teachers got 77% result, from the practical test by 40 students got 80% result and the effectiveness test by 40 students got the result of 78% Therefore, it can be concluded that the Lecture Maker is feasible to be used as a medium of learning that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness and can increase learning interests of learners.
