'A Jamiy: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Arab
'A Jamiy: Arabic Language and Literature Journal (p-issn: 2252-9926 and e-issn: 2657-2206) is a scientific journal that has published scientific papers since 2012. This journal is a Linguistics and Literature journal that is published twice a year in June and September by the Arabic Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Gorontalo. This journal discusses language problems that are examined in the branches of applied linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, pragmatics, stylistics, corpus linguistics, and others. In the field of literature, it includes literary history, literary theory, literary criticism, and others, which may include written texts, films, and other media. We only accept scholarly papers written in Bahasa Indonesia, Arab and English.

<![CDATA[This study uses the material object of poetry Risa>lah Ila> Jama>l ‘Abd Al-Na>s}ir by Niza>r Qabba>ni using the formal object of Riffaterre's semiotics. The results of this study reveal that poetry Risa>lah Ila> Jama>l ‘Abd Al-Na>s}ir terms of heuristic reading, it is still scattered, fragmented, and not yet centralized. The retroactive or hermeneutical reading, in its actual hipogram, expresses a salutary homage to the first stanza indicated byDoves, ships and ferries the Nile with symbols accompanying them. as well as in the second stanza which reveals several questions, namely:In what era do you live?, In what era of inspirers?, And in what era of wizards? Which disassembled on this reading. The model in this poem is found in the sentences in each stanza. First pertama Kursiyyuka al-mahju>ru fī (minsyiyyatu al-bakri>) yabki> fa>risu al-ahla>m and the second Nuji>buhum: fi> as}rin ‘abd al-nas}hir the first sentence that reflects a power and leadership, namely "your seat left behind at Mansheya El-Bakry weeps for the dream knight". the second sentence which is the answer to the question, namely Nuji>buhum: fi> as}rin ‘Abd Al-Na>s}ir. The poetry matrix obtained is "Patriotism" in a leadership perspective. As well as linking the actual Hipogram with the holy verses of the Qur'an about leadership, Q.S Sad ayat 26.]]>

<![CDATA[Hadith is one of the religious texts that is important to study and serve as a guide to human life. However, hadiths generally use Arabic which makes translation for non-users of that language necessary. The Bulughul Maram Book, as one of the books containing these thematic hadiths, has a literal translation, but no study of its translation into Indonesian from an i'rabic perspective has been found. The aim of this research is to analyze in depth how i'rab influences word choice, sentence structure and meaning of the original text in the translation process into Indonesian. The research method used is a qualitative method using two data collection techniques, namely library study techniques and text analysis. The conclusion of this research is that there are implications between the faithful translation method and the i'rab perspective regarding a translation that is faithful to the structure and original meaning of the hadith text.]]>

<![CDATA[Humans have the ability to receive and master several languages. Usually humans have the ability to master at least two languages, namely their mother tongue and a second language. Between the mother tongue and the second language there must be almost similar grammatical patterns or rules. Apart from that, there are also differences between the two. Languages in the world also have rules that are almost the same as each other. One of the rules that is often used to communicate is command words or imperatives which every language in the world definitely has with its own rules in each language. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the differences and similarities between imperatives or command sentences in Arabic and Javanese, so that it can make it easier for Javanese speakers to learn Arabic, especially the rules of imperative sentences or command words. This research uses a literature study method with a focus on literature and sources in the form of books containing explanations of imperative sentences in Arabic and Javanese. The method and type of this research is qualitative research with a constructive analysis type of research which aims to (1) find out the similarities in imperative sentences in Arabic and Javanese (2) find out the differences in imperative sentences in Arabic and Javanese. The results of this research show that: (1) there are three similarities in imperative sentences in Arabic and Javanese, namely in terms of meaning, the same two meanings and sentence structure. (2) there are five differences in imperative sentences in Arabic and Javanese, namely in terms of meaning, signs, genderization, language level and in terms of number.]]>

<![CDATA[Al-Amidi was an Arabic literarure critic in the 4th century Hijriah, he suffered a lot from his critical mindset in the form of books, but not much scientific research raised the topic of his research on al-Amidi, especially in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to look at al-Amidi's scientific background, al-Amidi's contributions in Arabic literature criticism and how writers view al-Amidi. In this study method with library research. Data collection techniques in this study were observing and recording techniques by recording data. The conclusion of this study shows that al-Amidi's scientific background was influenced by previous Ulama in Arabic literary criticism. al-Amidi played a very important role and he was one of the originators of literary analysis with comparative studies although there were still many pros and cons related to al-Amidi's objectivity in assessing Abu Tamam and al-Buhturi.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the use of paronomasia (jinās) in Surah Al-Waqi'ah, focusing on its rhetorical and aesthetic functions. The primary problem addressed is understanding the impact of jinās on the beauty and eloquence of the Quranic text. The research seeks to explore how paronomasia enhances the meanings and messages within Surah Al-Waqi'ah. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing library research to collect and analyze data from various literary and rhetorical sources, including Quranic exegesis, books on rhetoric, and other relevant texts. The findings indicate that jinās in Surah Al-Waqi'ah significantly contributes to the text's aesthetic appeal and clarity of meaning. Paronomasia serves to emphasize key concepts and create a rhythmic flow that enhances the reader's emotional and intellectual engagement with the text. The study concludes that understanding the use of rhetorical devices like jinās can deepen appreciation for the artistic qualities of Quranic verses and enrich the comprehension of their messages. Further research is recommended to explore the full extent of rhetorical devices in other Surahs to fully grasp their impact on audiences.]]>

<![CDATA[Mempelajari karya penulis perempuan menjadi salah satu gaya baru guna mengetahui kreativitas psikodinamik perempuan, permasalahan bahasa dan gaya bahasa perempuan, dan seputar problematika perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan puisi Tukhotibu Al-Mar’ah Al-Miṣriyah karya Bahitsa Al-Badiyyah, seorang penyair perempuan Mesir melalui perspektif teori ginokritik Elaine Showalter. Pendekatan ginokritik yang digunakan dalam artikel ini berupa: penulisan oleh perempuan dan biologi perempua, penulisan oleh perempuan dan bahasa perempuan, penulisan oleh perempuan dan psikologi perempua, serta penulisan oleh perempuan dan budaya perempuan. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada narasi yang dilengkapi dengan deskripsi kalimat secara rinci. Adapun hasil penelitian ini ialah: penulisan oleh perempuan dan biologi perempuan ditemukan bahwa penulis melawan budaya patriari, tetapi tidak disebutkan sisi biologis secara spesifik seperti anatomi perempuan. Penulisan oleh perempuan dan Bahasa perempuan, penyair menggunakan Bahasa maskulin. Penulisan oleh perempuan dan psikologi perempuan ditemukan sosok perempuan yang percaya diri, kritis, dan cerdas. Penulisan oleh perempuan dan budaya perempuan yakni ia memiliki pola piker terbuka meskipun mengalami korban patriarki adat istiadat pada masanya.]]>

<![CDATA[Representasi merupakan sebuah gambaran yang mewakili kejadian atau fakta yang nyata. Sementara moral adalah suatu sikap yang ditunjukkan oleh individu, tidak hanya yang baik namun juga yang buruk, yang kemudian diyakini dan diterima oleh orang lain. Dalam hal ini, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa budaya dan kehidupan sosial dari suatu masyarakat dapat direpresentasikan melalui berbagai hal, salah satunya melalui karya sastra, contohnya dialog dari sebuah film. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi nilai moral tokoh dalam film "مسامير الفيلم" dengan menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif berbasis data kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah dialog-dialog dari para tokoh pada film "مسامير الفيلم" yang berkaitan dengan representasi nilai moral menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah film "مسامير الفيلم" yang berdurasi 1 jam 50 menit. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam film ini terdapat berbagai nilai moral yaitu nilai moral cinta damai, bertanggung jawab, kreatif, menghargai prestasi para pahlawan, toleransi, dan religius.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the problems of Arabic sentence construction and its solutions for students of the Faculty of Science and Technology in the first semester of 2023 Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang from the aspect of sentence structure (tarkib) during the learning of a special program for Arabic language development (PKPBA). This research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with case studies. The object of this research is first semester students in 2023, with a sample of 40 students. The data collection techniques used were observation and interview. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Triangulation used to test the validity of the data is triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that the problems of Arabic sentence structure are difficulties in arranging changes in the end of the sentence (i'rab), determining the order of words in the sentence, and determining the suitability of words in the sentence. The solutions include: studying Arabic grammar rules in depth, practicing making words in sentences continuously, and often reading Arabic texts carefully.]]>

<![CDATA[Mahmoud Darwish, seorang penyair Palestina terkenal, sering menggunakan puisi sebagai medium untuk mengekspresikan pengalaman emosional dan ideologis yang kompleks dari rakyatnya. Salah satu karya paling mencolok dari Darwish adalah syi'ir أحبكِ أو لا أحبكِ yang, melalui ungkapan cinta dan penolakan, mengandung lapisan makna yang kaya. Untuk memahami kedalaman dan nuansa yang tersembunyi dalam teks ini, diperlukan pendekatan analitis yang mampu mengungkap makna yang tidak langsung terlihat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan teori semiotika Riffaterre untuk mengeksplorasi makna tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap makna kompleks dan berlapis-lapis yang terkandung dalam syi'ir tersebut. Analisis ini memanfaatkan konsep-konsep kunci seperti pembcaan heuristik , pembacaan hermaneutik, hipogram , varian , dan model untuk mengeksplorasi makna tersembunyi di balik ungkapan cinta dan penolakan yang ada dalam teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa syi'ir ini tidak hanya berbicara tentang cinta dan penolakan secara literal, tetapi juga mencerminkan konflik emosional dan ideologis yang mendalam. Syi'ir ini mengajak pembaca untuk merenungkan pengalaman hidup di bawah tekanan serta bagaimana perasaan-perasaan yang kontradiktif dapat coexist dalam situasi yang penuh dengan ketidakpastian dan perjuangan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kompleksitas makna yang dihadirkan oleh Mahmoud Darwish dalam syi'irnya melalui pendekatan semiotika Riffaterre.]]>

<![CDATA[Fenomena yang terjadi pada masyarakat saat ini adalah bahasa Arab semakin terpinggirkan dengan rasio pembelajar bahasa Arab yang semakin sedikit jika dibandingkan dengan bahasa Inggris. Fenomena seperti ini ternyata juga diamini oleh seorang filosof Arab yaitu Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri dengan kritiknya terhadap bahasa Arab yang menilai bahasa Arab mengalami stagnasi di era kodifikasi ilmu pengetahuan. Dalam penelitian ini membahas bagaimana konsep Al-Jabiri dapat menghambat perkembangan bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif sehingga ditemukan hasilnya berupa data. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa faktor utama penghambat perkembangan bahasa Arab bukan hanya disebabkan oleh konsep-konsep yang digagas oleh Al-Jabiri saja melainkan kurangnya aksesibilitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab, kurangnya sumber daya pengajaran, lingkungan yang tidak mendukung, tantangan struktural dan kompleks, dominasi. bahasa lain, konflik politik dan perubahan sosial dan budaya. ]]>
