Abstract

Mastery of computer aided design (CAD)-based design software to make fashion patterns for vocational students is very necessary, so that there is a conformity of competencies required by industry. One of the characteristics of 21st century learning is the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in learning. Specifically, this research aims to: 1) develop richpeace software-based e-module; 2) analyze the feasibility of richpeace software-based e-module; and 3) analyze the effectiveness of richpeace software-based e-module to improve the competence of making digital fashion patterns for vocational students in the fashion study program. The research method used is Research and Development (RD). The feasibility and practicality validation analysis used the intraclass correlation Coefficients method with the help of SPSS v.19 software, while the analysis of the effectiveness of the developed e-module used the t test. Based on the results of data development and analysis, the resulting richpeace software-based emodule was declared very feasible by material experts with a score of (97.0) and very feasible by media experts with a score of (96.3). The practicality of the developed e-module was also tested by the fashion teacher, with very practical results (97.5). The e-module that was developed was also tested for effectiveness by using the t-test, with the result that there was a significant difference before and after using the e-module, with an increased value of 18.5 and a p-value of 0.000), and had an N-Gain value of 0, 93 which means that the developed e-module is very effective. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the developed e-module is very feasible, very practical and very effective to improve the competence of making digital clothing patterns for vocational students in the fashion study program.

Abstract

Batik course is practical learning which effectively applies by face-to-face learning method. However, batik learning activities cannot run effectively during the disaster (covid-19) period. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' batik skills with an online learning model in batik courses at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Semarang. This research is a type of research and development. The development procedure in this study adapted from the ADDIE model, which includes the analysis phase of preliminary studies and literacy, drafting of learning models, development of learning models, application of learning models to research subjects, and product revision. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics. The research subjects consisted of an experiment group of 10 students and a control group of 10 students. Based on the results of the expert validation of the learning model, all indicators approve with some improvements. Analyzed the effectiveness based on trials was through the impact of student learning outcomes in batik subjects. The average learning outcomes of the experiment group had a relatively higher score of 85.3, and the control group was 80.1. In comparison, the N-Gain value is 64%, which means that the online learning model of batik learning is quite effective in improving learning outcomes and solutions for implementing practical knowledge during disaster periods.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of using the Multisim 12 software as a learning medium to achieve the student learning outcomes in electronic engineering competency standards. In this research, the researchers used experimental research to determine the effect of a treatment in a learning process. The subject of this research was the Electronic Engineering students of the State Vocational High School 1 of Ampelgading Pemalang. The researcher involved 72 students of class X as the sample. Before data collection, the researchers conducted observations and interviews, followed by the preparation and validation of research instruments. The research instrument validation was determined by expert judgment. After that, it was tested to the students by the pre-test and post-test. In data analysis, the researchers applied the t-test using the SPSS program as a technique to analyze the learning outcomes. The results of this research showed that the Multisim 12 software was effective to be used as a learning media to analyze semiconductor diode components. It was proved by the increase in the student learning outcomes from the analysis results using SPSS. The Regression Coefficient test (t-test) result showed that the t-count of 8.713 was smaller than the t-table of 2.000.

Abstract

The Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning model is a learning model used in aproduction or service-based vocational school that refers to standards, procedures, and an industry-like atmosphere (companies). PIKA IndustrialWood Working School Semarang is one of the vocational schools thatimplements the TeFa learning model. The implementation of ongoing TeFalearning requires evaluation so that the program can run according to theexpected goals. The evaluation of the TeFa learning implementation used theCIPP evaluation model which consists of four aspects; they are Context, Input,Process, and Product (CIPP). This study aims to determine the extent of theimplementation of TeFa learning in terms of the four aspects by usingquestionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The observationresults of the teachers and industry representatives in terms of Context, Input,Process, and Product aspect showed that the implementation of TeFa learningwas considered in the very good category in accordance with the standards setby the Directorate of Vocational Education of Indonesian Ministry ofEducation, Culture, Research, and Technology with the achievement result of93% context, 96.2% inputs, 91.4% process, and 84.6% product. The results alsoshowed that the implementation of TeFa learning, according to the teacher, interms of Context, Input, Process, and Product aspects was included in the verygood category, with the respective achievements of 91.8%, 95%, 92.9% and93.4%. In addition, according to the students, the implementation of TeFalearning in terms of Context, Input, Process, and Product aspect was includedin the very good category, with the achievements of 82.8%, 89%, 89%, and93.8% respectively.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is one part of the national education system with a strategic role to educate the nation's life. Students are an essential pillar of the nation's next generation, so they must increase their creativity in the learning process to hone their abilities and produce outputs or graduates ready to face challenges in the 21st Century. Choosing the right learning media can improve learning outcomes significantly between those given treatments to students of class XI BKP 3 and those who are not given treatment to students of class XI BKP 1 in SMK Negeri 1 Blora school year 2020/2021. This research aims to develop an E-module for Building Drawing Materials with AutoCAD Applications based on files Electronic Publication (EPUB) to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses research and development methods or R D. The design chosen is ADDIE, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research uses various instruments, namely (1) a feasibility assessment sheet for e-modules; (2) an e-module practicality questionnaire; and (3) a questionnaire on the effectiveness of the e-module to measure student learning outcomes in class XI BKP 3 and XI BKP 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Blora. The data analysis used is (1) definite to determine the feasibility level of the e-module; (2) Guttman's categorization to determine the level of practicality of e-modules, using the coefficients Kr and Ks; and (3) N-Gain and different N-Gain tests using t-test, to determine the effectiveness of the e-module on student learning outcomes. Based on the feasibility test of the Building Drawing e-module with AutoCAD file-based Electronic Publication (EPUB) developed, according to the responses of media experts and material experts obtained, the e-module response criteria is very feasible. Responses from teachers and students as user responses to the practicality test of the e-module got very applicable assessment criteria. And from the effectiveness test in the experimental class, the e-module received influential and significant standards for improving student learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor aspects. In contrast, in learning outcomes in the affective part, the e-module was not adequate for enhancing student learning outcomes in class XI BKP in SMK N1 Blora.
