Abstract

This paper described proposes an integrated queue system for banks, combining fingerprint recognition technology with a scoring board. The system aims to enhance customer service efficiency and security while optimizing queue management. By incorporating fingerprint recognition, customers can easily verify their identity without the need for physical documents or cards, streamlining the authentication process. Additionally, the scoring board provides real-time updates on queue status, allowing both customers and bank staff to monitor waiting times and prioritize service accordingly. The integration of these technologies offers a comprehensive solution to improve the overall banking experience, ensuring smoother operations and higher customer satisfaction. Therefore, the aim of this research is to create a school payment system that is packaged electronically by utilizing the internet network and fingerprint identification as the payment medium. This payment system was created by utilizing fingerprint technology that is embedded in each student's cellphone and is integrated with the internet as a data exchange route. The system flow starts from registering your fingerprint via a fingerprint scanner, logging in, topping up your balance, viewing and selecting the payment list, and finally making a payment by authenticating your fingerprint using a fingerprint reader. It is hoped that this research can ease the burden on treasurers and all students in terms of school payments, especially those within the Tanwirul Afkar Islamic Vocational School so that a payment system can be obtained that is faster, more flexible and safer to use.

This study aims to analyze the performance of non-formal education managers within these centers. Utilizing a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the Hoy &Miskel education management framework. The findings reveal that the Imam Syafe'i PKBM has demonstrated commendable performance by enhancing the quality of non-formal education. Challenges identified include insufficient literacy resources, students' limited technological proficiency, and restricted learning hours. Conversely, factors contributing to success include effective financial management, active collaboration with the Education Department and other institutions, and robust emotional support for students. Improvement efforts encompass expanding library collections, developing tutor internship programs, preparing pertinent learning materials, enhancing online learning validation and monitoring, administering efficient exams, and providing tutor training and certification. Nonetheless, several obstacles persist, such as inadequate library facilities and the necessity for a structured tutor internship model. Addressing these challenges involves augmenting library resources and establishing structured collaboration models for tutor internships with other institutions.

Abstract

Land is useful as a support for building foundations and as a building material itself. Factors that affect the bearing capacity of the soil include: soil type, density level, water content, and others. Human activities in meeting their needs sometimes cause soil mobilization. For that, it is necessary to improve the shrinkage properties of the soil. The purpose of this study is to analyze the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value of clay soil with the addition of iron powder waste as a mixture, which is expected to be able to strengthen the bearing capacity of the soil in the soil pavement layer. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the addition of iron powder waste to clay soil has on the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value. The methods used are direct shear test and CBR test. By going through the stages of testing including, water content testing, soil specific gravity testing, wet volume testing, dry volume testing, plastic limit testing, liquid limit testing, free pressure testing, standard density testing, California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test, and direct shear test. It is known from the results of the CBR Test, the CBR value of the soil increased from normal soil testing by 2.65% to 3.48% after adding a mixture variation of 5% iron powder, to 3.10% after adding a mixture variation of 10% iron powder, and there was a decrease after adding a mixture variation of 15% iron powder by 2.66% and for direct shear testing (Direct Shear Test) there was an increase of 12.7217 kg/cm2 in the 10% iron powder mixture variation.
