Abstract

The purpose of this study is ti test and analyze the the influence of leverage level and company size on profit growth in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2023. The level of leverage is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and the company size measured using natural logarithms. The total sample used in this study is 18 companies through purposive sampling. The data used in this study in secondary data. To the test hypothesis in this study, a multiple linear regression analysis method with a result of the determination coefficient in this stydu is 50,5% which can be explained by independent variabels, namely leverage level and company size on the profit growth variable. The result of this study show that the level of leverage has a significant effect on profit growth. The level of leverage and the size of the company simultaneously affect the profit growth of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of profitability and corporate social responsibility on company value in Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2023. Profitability uses return on assets and corporate social responsibility is measured using CSDI. The total sample used in this research was 18 companies through purposive sampling. The data used in this research is secondary data. To test the hypothesis in this research, the multiple linear regression analysis method was used with a significance level of 0.05 using SPSS. The coefficient of determination result in this research is 40.3% which can be explained by the independent variables, namely profitability and corporate social responsibility on the company value variable. The results of this research show that profitability influences company value, corporate social responsibility influences company value. profitability, and corporate social responsibility simultaneously influence the company value of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Because the significance level is <0.05.

Abstract

The settlement of juvenile cases through restorative justice approach includes: the stages of investigation, prosecution, court and implementation of punishment or action and after serving the punishment or action. The problems in this study are about what factors are used against children in restorative justice in resolving child criminal cases. How is the responsibility of investigators in the implementation of restorative Justice in the settlement of juvenile criminal cases in the PPA Unit of the Langkat Police Criminal Investigation Unit. How are the obstacles and efforts of investigators in the PPA Unit of the Langkat Police Reskrim Unit in the implementation of restorative Justice in the settlement of criminal cases committed by children. Where this research uses an empirical juridical approach method, which tries to describe the application of restorative justice in the settlement of sexual abuse of children committed by minors by the PPA Unit of Satreskrim Polres Langkat. The data source of this research consists of primary and secondary data. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. The responsibility of PPA Satreskrim investigators of Langkat Police in implementing restorative Justice in resolving cases of children in conflict with the law is inseparable from the implementation of the duties and functions of investigators specified in the Law on the Child Criminal Justice System, where the implementation of diversion in resolving cases of children in conflict with the law is mandatory (imperative). The obstacle of investigators in the PPA Unit of the Langkat Police Criminal Investigation Unit in the implementation of restorative Justice is the difficulty of bringing together the balance of the various interests of the parties, namely the perpetrator, victim, and society.

Abstract

Leadership is the process of directing and giving influence to group members who are interconnected with the same task. A good leader who can apply leadership skills that are appropriate to the work situation they will face can certainly motivate their employees to work as optimally as possible, this can make employee performance better. This research is located at the Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict Office, Cimahi City. This research was conducted to determine the role of interpersonal roles, decision making, informational roles in improving employee performance. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The resource persons for this research were the Secretary of Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict and the employees of Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict. The data analysis carried out is data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The leadership role is an important role that influences improving employee performance at the Cigugur Tengah Subdistrict Office. There are several other factors that will improve employee performance, such as honesty, time discipline, accuracy in completing tasks, ability to work together and willingness to learn.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the differences in the framing of news of cases of sexual harassment on Tribunnews.com and Detik.com in the application of gender perspective journalism in the April 2018 period. Data Source: Primary data in this study are news texts in the form of news texts in the online media Tribunnews.com and Detik.com regarding news of sexual harassment cases during the April 2018 period. Secondary data in the form of notes or reports that have been arranged in archives or data has been collected by data collection agencies and published to the data user community or not published. Method: this method is a qualitative method using framing analysis theory from Pan and Kosicki. Results: The results of the framing analysis in this study are attached to the attachment table 3. Conclusion: Broadly speaking, the two media have different framing directives in packaging cases of sexual harassment, especially if viewed from the selection of diction. This certainly has an impact on the framing of news that can form a public opinion. The choice of certain words can indeed have an impact on the construction of the reality and meaning contained.

Abstract

After the Covid pandemic, ecotourism is a tourism concept that prioritizes environmental sustainability and wise use of natural resources. One important aspect in ecotourism development is the use of renewable energy, such as solar panels, to meet energy needs without damaging the environment. This research aims to analyze the potential for renewable energy that can be produced by solar panels to support ecotourism development planning. This research includes collecting secondary data from relevant literature, measuring the intensity of sunlight at selected locations, as well as computer simulations to predict the energy output of solar panels. The analysis is carried out by considering factors such as weather conditions, orientation and tilt angle of the solar panels, and energy conversion efficiency. Please note: The research results show that the potential for renewable energy from solar panels in the selected locations is very significant. With optimal sunlight intensity and proper panel angle adjustment, ecotourism can produce most of its energy needs from this renewable energy source. The use of solar panels also has a positive impact in reducing carbon footprints and long-term operational costs. and the integration of solar panels in ecotourism development planning is a strategic step that can increase sustainability and energy efficiency. Recommendations from this research include wider implementation of solar panel technology, increased education about the benefits of renewable energy, as well as supporting policies from the government to encourage the adoption of green energy in the tourism sector.

Abstract

In modern industry, industrial revolution 4.0, energy storage systems are becoming increasingly important to support reliable and efficient performance. One of the technologies used in energy storage systems is supercapacitors. where Supercapacitors offer advantages in terms of high energy charging and discharging speeds, long service life, and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures. One of the characteristics of this power plant is the instability of the power released by this plant due to varying wind speeds. One solution to overcome this is to add energy storage to the generating system which works as power smoothing so that the power sent to the load can be maintained constant. This system can work as an energy store when the power released by the generator exceeds the power required by the load and can be an energy source when the power released by the generator is less than the power required by the load. The problem with energy storage in general is that the usage cycle tends to be low. Supercapacitors, with their characteristics of high power density, high efficiency and high usage cycles, are considered capable of overcoming the problems of other energy storage systems. This final project contains a study of the use of supercapacitors as energy storage in wind power plants, with a focus on comparing several parameters of supercapacitors with lead acid batteries. Based on the simulation results in this research, it can be concluded that supercapacitors have a power density and number of life cycles that tend to be higher than batteries, but have disadvantages, including a small energy capacity and relatively more expensive costs compared to batteries. Supercapacitors can also work as power smoothers to keep power on the DC link constant.

Abstract

This research explores the low financial literacy among millennials despite their dominance in the use of information technology. Various surveys show that most millennials cannot answer basic questions about finance and investment correctly, indicating an urgent need to improve financial and investment literacy. This lack of understanding of investment instruments and financial strategies negatively impacts their financial stability. Initial questionnaire results from 30 students showed that 70% felt unfamiliar with investments, while 30% felt familiar. In addition, students were most familiar with stocks (40%), followed by mutual funds (30%), cryptocurrencies (15%), and bonds (10%). The study also found that investment literacy and education activities can increase millennials' understanding and motivation to invest. Technology plays an important role in financial education, with well-designed digital learning media, such as e-books and other digital tools, significantly improving learning outcomes. Recommendations from this research include the provision of interactive and fun teaching materials that are easily accessible through digital media, covering the introduction of basic investment concepts, long-term returns, practical guidance on starting an investment, and risk management. This research emphasizes the importance of greater financial education and literacy efforts to empower millennials to manage their finances more effectively and wisely.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the optimization of Cooperative performance through a digital-based reporting management system. The case study method is used to analyze user needs and design relevant system features. The needs analysis is useful in identifying constraints and needs in the current reporting system. Based on this analysis, features such as interactive dashboards, real-time reporting, digital financial management, and member management were designed and tested. The results show an increase in operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the cooperative. The implementation of this system successfully met user needs and improved the cooperative's performance

Abstract

The importance of exploring strategies for using learning media in enhancing the stimulus of reading comprehension and recognition of objects around children. The method used is literature review, which involves analyzing various studies and scientific sources related to this topic. The results showed that interactive learning media such as educational apps, picture books, and augmented reality (AR) can significantly improve children's reading comprehension and object recognition. However, challenges such as lack of access to quality media and teachers' ability to use them need to be addressed. Recommendations include improving access to quality media, teacher training and parental involvement in the learning process.
