Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the model and theme of student thesis research in the fine arts study program so far there has been no novelty. This is evidenced by the thesis that only repeats the theme and object of previous research. The purpose of the research is to apply a research model oriented to textbook products that have an impact on improving the quality and variety of students' thesis research objects. Knowing the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials developed and applied. It is hoped that with this textbook, student thesis research will be varied and touch more on the field of quality art. The research model used with 4D Thiagarajan is define, design, develop, and desiminate. Subjects are students of semester VI totaling 2 classes (32 people) and the object in this study is an art research model. The data collection instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire of students' interest and interest in the applied textbooks. In this study, the quality of research results is measured by the usefulness of the product that has been validated. The results showed that the student's response to the research product reached good and positive criteria. The effectiveness of textbooks developed with various research models is very good. It is recommended that this art research model textbook can be applied by lecturers and students of Fine Arts at FBS Unimed and other universities. Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for Indonesian class VII SMP in semester 1 based on local wisdom of North Sumatra and the digitization of learning. The teaching materials that will be developed are descriptive text, narrative story text, and procedure text. This study uses the Research & Development method referring to the research design with the stages of analyzing the needs of teaching materials based on local wisdom, data collection, product design, validation and testing. Product assessment is based on material quality, language quality, and media quality, as well as testing as student responses. The results of the research show that: (1) the results of the validation of the material experts indicate that the learning materials are declared feasible and "valid" with an average percentage gain of 87.8% with the criteria of "very good". Furthermore, the results of the validation of linguists showed that the language used in the learning materials was declared feasible and "valid" with an average percentage gain of 87.5% with the criteria of "very good". Then the results of the media validation showed that the media was deemed feasible and "valid" with the acquisition of a percentage of 92.2% with the criteria of "very good". (2) the results of the trial on junior high school students obtained an average percentage of 90.17% with very good criteria. The results of the percentage of trials carried out show that the Indonesian language learning materials for class VII SMP Semester 1 based on local wisdom of North Sumatra and their digitalization are appropriate and "valid" to be used as learning materials, especially in learning description texts and narrative texts for class VII semester 1 students.

The objectives of this study were to: (1) develop teaching materials based on Quizziz interactive game learning media in teaching Production Écrite Débutante, (2) assessing the feasibility of teaching materials based on Quizziz interactive game learning media in teaching Production Écrite Débutante. This development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The research instrument used was a questionnaire and validation instruments for material experts and the design of teaching materials. Based on the results of the assessment by teaching material experts Production Écrite Débutante. Based on interactive game learning media Quizziz that was developed has content feasibility, namely the average score of 91.33%.very good), the feasibility of presenting the average score of 94.54%. (Very good), and the linguistic aspect obtained an average score of 94.61%. (Very good). The average score of the expert's assessment of teaching material design obtained 85.9% (Good). Based on the results of the validation, it shows that the teaching materials Production Écrite Débutante which has been developed to meet the demands of learning needs. Researchers limit the problem to the process of developing teaching materials based on interactive quizziz game learning media in teaching Production Écrite Débutante.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the development of PJOK teaching materials on theme 1 in a combination of basic locomotor movements through role-playing activities, to know learning activities through the development of teaching materials, and to find out the interests of learners through the development of teaching materials. The type in this study uses development. The subjects used in this study were 6 grade III public elementary schools in Sidogedungbatu Village of Sangkapura District of Bawean Islands of Gresik Regency with a total of 89 learners. Instruments in this study use validation sheets, observation sheets of learning activities, and learners' questionnaires. The results and discussion of this research are the development of theme books 1 class III in PJOK material in a combination of basic locomotor movements through role-playing activities is very good, because PJOK learning on theme 1 that uses thematic learning that combines general learning with PJOK learning which is initially less interesting material and still exists that is not in accordance with Basic Competence in the end researchers develop a book of teaching materials in the game. a that can not be separated from the Basic Competencies in the theme book. The results of educator observations there is a percentage of 87% and the results of student observations there is a percentage of 85%. The interest of learners in PJOK teaching material theme 1 growth and development of living things through a combination of basic locomotor motion to role-playing activities in class III there is an overall percentage of 84%. Abstract

This research aims to identify the types of illocutionary acts, to analyze the functions of illocutionary acts, and to describe the strategies of illocutionary acts used in Joaquin Phoenix’s acceptance speeches at five film awards ceremonies in 2020. The method used in this research is qualitative methodology which, according to Taylor (2016), produces descriptive data—people’s own written or spoken words and observable behavior. The theoretical framework for this research refers to: Searle’s (1979) theory on types of illocutionary acts, Leech’s (1993) theory on functions of illocutionary acts, and Yule’s (1996) theory on strategies of illocutionary acts. Out of 30 analyzed data, the research shows that: there are 11 expressive types (37%), 10 assertive types (33%), 6 directive types (20%), and 3 commissive types (10%); there are 14 convivial functions (47%), 8 collaborative functions (27%), 6 competitive functions (20%), and 2 conflictive functions (6%); there are 14 direct strategies (47%) and 16 indirect strategies (53%).

Abstract

The government policies on MBKM encourage the university to apply case-based learning and project-based learning. Thus, by inserting the case study in learning is the right thing to produce qualified learning. Based on the statement above, this research is aimed at developing the learning to speak by using case method. This research is carried out at the studies program of German Education, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Medan. This research was categorized as a Development Research which aimed to produce teaching materials for speaking skill by integrating the case method. The development step used is the Reeves development step, namely Design Based Research which consists of: (1) Problem Identification, (2) Draft Development, (3) Repeated Testing, and (4) Reflection to Generate Solutions. However, in this research, the focuses on this research are on problem identification and draft development. The data in this study are qualitative data which came from books and the Internet. The teaching materials developed were adapted to the themes for B1 contained in the Studio Express B1 book, which is a mandatory textbook for students at the level of B1. The integration of case method in learning to speak is done in four steps, they are: 1) Identifying problems and continuing with investigations, 2) Providing context, 3) Providing clear rubrics and 4) Setting the structure of presenting solutions through reflection. By integrating the case method in learning to speak, it is hoped that it can improve students' speaking competence as well as improve students' ability to find solutions to a problem.
