This study analyzes the learning and the needs during distance learning. This qualitative data research employed non-probability sampling technique by means of purposive sampling so that the sample in this study was 50 teachers and 100 students in different schools. The data collection used was survey method. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The main findings show that Distance Learning can be implemented well. The findings in the field are that most of all schools implement distance learning from home except for a small number. Teachers experience major obstacles in implementing learning from home. There are still a few teachers who do interactive learning with students but have used various social media tools to communicate with students. There are still many teachers who teach curriculum completeness. The duration of the learning time is significantly reduced. Students also experience problems during distance learning, such as limited facilities to support skills in using digital devices, and decreased learning motivation and teachers have not maximized the use of online learning platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the various problems faced by stakeholders, especially decision makers, in overcoming the complexities at the border between Indonesia and Malaysia in West Kalimantan. We obtained the latest conditions from in-depth interviews with 12 informants who were directly related to decision making at the location. We also conducted a series of focus group discussions and roundtable discussions to sharpen the multidimensional problems faced. We found that the problems on the border of West Kalimantan cover the dimensions of ideology, politics, technology, public safety, socio-culture, and the most important and the underlying is the economy, while legislation is not included. This study also proposes a hierarchy of dimensions of threats faced in border areas, which may also be applied in a similar context. We conclude that in overcoming the problem of non-military threats, mutual awareness among decision makers, especially BNPP, which is the leading institution in border area management, must be prioritized.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect oforganizational commitment and competence to the performance of employees of Bank BRI Rantauprapat Branch. The population in this study were 45 people. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, so the sample size in this study was 45 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire/questionnaire. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 5.905 + 0.765X1 + 0.495X2. In the partial test (t test) the regression coefficient of the organizational commitment variable obtained a t value of 4.614 > t table 2.018 which means that the organizational commitment variable has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance variable with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression coefficient for the competency variable obtained the t count value of 2.859 > t table 2, 018 which means that the competence variable has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance variable with a significant value of 0.007 <0.05. The results of the F test obtained the Fcount value of 35.678 > Ftable 3.22 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the variables of organizational commitment and competence simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination test showthat variable organizational commitment and competence have an influence of 62.9%on employee performance variables, while the remaining 37.1% is influenced by other variables that are outside this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the relationship of_LDR, ROA, NPL, CAR towards credit supply of BEI-listed banking sector within the period of 4 years, which is during 2016-2019. The method utilized for this research is descriptive quantitative. There are 45 companies at the banking sector listed by BEI, however only 26 companies fulfill the criteria according to the sampling purposive technique; in which we will consider as the sample of this research. The data processing involves the usage of Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. PLS analysis is conducted by using the software SmartPLS 3.0. The result of data processing shows partially that variable LDR, ROA and NPL has positive relationship towards credit supply of the banking sector. On the other hand, variable CAR shows a partial negative relationship towards credit supply of the banking sector. Simultaneously, all four variables has a significant relationship towards the credit supply. It is signified by the amount of R2 which is 13,5%, and the rest of 86,5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the control power of foreign investors that can weaken the domestic position in managing Indonesia's natural resources when facing the global energy crisis. The control power is reflected in financial decision-making, which consists of investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend decisions. The sample companies in this study are listed on IDX in the energy and basic materials sector in 2020, where supercycle commodities occurred. The total sample is 166 companies, with 66 companies to be observed. Using multilinear regression using ROA and Tobin's Q as control variables, the authors find the effect on investment decision making where foreign investors have a significant positive in company liability. However, its effect is negative on company equity. Foreigner investors also influence funding decisions where foreign investors have a significantly positive effect on firm size. However, foreign investors have a significantly negative effect on the decision-making of dividends.
