Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has large nickel reserves in the world. In addition to nickel being used for export, currently the government has made it mandatory to downstream nickel domestically. In addition, the potential for nickel in Indonesia also plays a role in increasing investment for state revenue, through smelter investments. Through the policy of banning the export of nickel ore, the continuity of the supply of crude nickel in the long term for the needs of domestic smelters is maintained. In the mineral mining industry, smelters are part of the production process, minerals mined from nature are usually still mixed with other materials, requiring further processing. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The case studies raised in this research are nickel mining companies in South Sulawesi, especially in Morowali Regency, which have integrated smelter processing facilities to produce matte nickel, which have many impacts on stakeholders, especially for the environment. The benefits generated by nickel processing smelter activities to stakeholders, namely the company, government, community and the surrounding environment.the future of the Indonesian nickel smelter industry depends on precise regulations and real implementation from the government to build a highly competitive domestic smelter industry so that independence in the national energy sector can be realized.

Statistical analysis of the description is used to determine the description of the respondents and the research variables used. The data analysis used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 7.0. The calculation results show that Islamic work culture variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Y), leadership variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Y) and organizational citizenship behavior (X3) has an effect on teacher performance at Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools Banyuwangi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of E-modin persuasive texts with love for the environment for class VIII students of SMPI Al Fattaiyyah Tulungagung. This research uses a development research model or is called the R&D (Research and Devolepment) model. The result of the research is that the product evaluation of the development of e-modin persuasive texts with love for the environment for class VIII students of this junior high school is based on the stated objectives, which include the results of product development and feasibility. The results of the development are in the form of the resulting product, while the feasibility of the product is in the form of an assessment of the product seen from the learning design aspects, material/content aspects, linguistic aspects, and media aspects. Eligibility is used to indicate the ease and suitability of using e-modin. Data regarding the analysis of development research needs were found by researchers during field surveys and literature studies. The information obtained by the researcher was 1) the persuasion text teaching materials used were in the form of textbooks from the Ministry of Education and Culture, 2) persuasion texts were the most difficult texts to teach and mastered by students, 3) teaching materials from the Ministry of Education and Culture contained material that was general and less specific and less interactive so that it requires accompanying teaching materials so that the material delivered is more varied, and 4) practice questions for persuasive texts need to be added or enriched, not just making example sentences, answering questions, and identifying texts.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has the largest nickel reserves in the world. In addition to nickel being used for export, currently the government has made it mandatory to downstream nickel domestically. Besides that, the potential for nickel in Indonesia also plays a role in increasing investment for state revenue, through smelter investments. Through the nickel export ban policy, the continuity of the supply of crude nickel in the long term for the needs of domestic smelters is maintained. But there are issues in society due to the export ban affecting the selling price of nickel, especially impacting business activities. This paper discusses the extent of the downstream nickel policy, the ban on nickel ore exports, the added value obtained and the obstacles faced. The research method used is explorative and descriptive method, Data collection for analysis purposes, among others, was obtained from various literature, regulations and laws and regulations, media coverage and various other relevant secondary data sources. The findings show that nickel downstream actually creates added value and pushes nickel prices in a positive direction, thus encouraging investors to come to Indonesia thereby strengthening the Indonesian economy in a better direction.

Abstract

The Labuhanbatu University Library has the goal of supporting information needs, increasing the number of visitors, interest in reading and the number of books borrowed. Every year this library procures a new collection of books, so it is important to know the types of books that are a priority for increasing the number. But currently the library is facing problems in the process of grouping book collections which are still done manually. This process takes a long time and requires high accuracy to avoid errors in grouping books. Therefore, an appropriate solution is needed by utilizing technology to assist librarians in grouping book data quickly and easily. The results of this study succeeded in designing a Book Collection Grouping Information System at the Labuhanbatu University Library. Based on the results of the Blackbox test, it shows that the system created is in accordance with user needs and has successfully passed all the tests carried out, thus indicating that the system can be used by the Labuhanbatu University Library.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of state-owned Perum Perhutani land, PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII and the role of MSMEs and their relation to welfare and development disparities. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis using the Williamson index. While presenting the data in the form of maps using ArcGIS, quadrant analysis, and explanatory using Pearson correlation and path analysis. The results showed that high disparities occurred in Jember Regency with an IW of (0.73). Low disparities occur in Lumajang (0.20), Bondowoso (0.24) and Banyuwangi (0.25). The results of the covariance-based Structural Equation Model (SEM) in the form of path analysis with AMOS software obtained a model where MSMEs are in the trade, hotel, restaurant sector; MSMEs in the Financial Services sector have a direct positive and significant effect on per capita income with a path coefficient of 0.3 each. The existence and area of land have a negative and significant effect with a path coefficient of -0.77. MSME service sector has a significant indirect effect on income per capita. Based on the findings, the local government needs to invite PTPN XII to participate in development that has a direct impact on the welfare of the community around the land, through the development of natural potential and land for tourism purposes which is supported by the development of MSME products for the local community.
