Abstract

Indonesia consists of various tribes with their respective regional languages, one of which is the Besemah tribe in South Sumatra Province with its language culture, namely the Besemah Language. Until now, the Besemah Language is still used by the Besemah tribe, but over time the number of Besemah Language speakers has decreased, plus most of the wider community does not know what the Besemah Language is. Machine Learning is a part of artificial intelligence that is often used to solve various problems. Machine Learning involves the use of computers and mathematical algorithms that use data to make predictions in the future. Machine translation is a tool that can convert one language to another. This study aims to collect datasets in the form of sentences and words from the Besemah Language, then create a Besemah Language translation machine to Indonesian and vice versa. In the research conducted, the approach used is Experimental Research in Machine Learning. Experimental research in machine learning for language translation is a research approach that involves designing and implementing a series of experiments to test and validate the performance of the language translation model. In this study, Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology was applied with the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) approach. The results of the study showed that the val_accuracy value for the Besemah-Indonesian translation was 0.8469 and for Indonesia-Besemah was 0.8492, in the translation trial conducted using the RNN model, 100 epochs, batch size 64, and validation split of 0.2.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought significant changes to various sectors, including healthcare. Digital technology, particularly mobile applications, enables increased efficiency, accessibility, and service quality. In the context of digital healthcare, effective user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design are key factors in increasing application adoption by users. This study aims to design a mobile application for Klinik Pratama using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and integrating local cultural values in Malang City to improve accessibility and user satisfaction. This study uses quantitative methods. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with respondents, participant observation, and prototype evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The cultural dimensions used include Power Distance, Collectivism, Uncertainty Avoidance, Masculinity vs. Femininity, and Long-Term Orientation, which are then implemented in UI design elements. The evaluation results show that the integration of UCD with a culture-based approach can significantly increase the application's usability value, with an average SUS score of 86.75 for patients, 87.5 for doctors, and 85.83 for administrative staff. All scores are included in the 'Good' category with a letter grade of 'B' based on the interpretation of the SUS standard. These findings confirm that a user-oriented design approach to culture can promote the inclusivity and effectiveness of primary digital health services through design strategies that are adaptive to local culture.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are various platforms that provide functions to carry out buying and selling transactions or called e-commerce. One of the e-commerce that is widely used in Indonesia is Shopee. Shopee is one of the e-commerce that is included in the B2C category that is widely used by people in various countries, especially in Indonesia. Shopee was officially launched for the first time in 2015 in Singapore and has expanded its business to other countries, such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan. The service provided by Shopee for sellers, namely Shopee Seller, is a reference for sellers and buyers when they are going to make buying and selling transactions using the Shopee application. There are several factors that must be owned by the Shopee Seller application which are benchmarks so that good and safe services are created when sellers make transactions. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a behavioral analysis of sellers using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method so that it can be known how users (sellers) behave towards accepting the e-commerce application used, namely Shopee Seller. This study was conducted on the THAIJAJAN seller community who use the Shopee Seller application using a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the use and acceptance of the Shopee Seller application in the THAIJAJAN community are in the high category and have positive values. Thus, it is hoped that Shopee will always pay attention to the services and features provided so that they can satisfy the needs of Shopee users, especially for sellers.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has driven significant changes in various fields, including the service sector. Internet-based digital services provide quick and easy access to all needs, such as ordering transportation, food, or even services. On-demand services are services based on customer demand (Anjani & Sujarwo, 2023). This research aims to develop a web-based on-demand computer service system integrated with geographic location using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm. Difficult access for customers with limited mobility, the lack of location-based partner distribution, and the manual partner search process remain major challenges in conventional computer service. The system was developed using Laravel as the backend framework and MySQL as the database processor, using the KNN method to measure the closest distance between the user's location and the partner based on latitude and longitude coordinates. The results show that the system can automatically provide information in the form of recommendations for the nearest technician partner, which can increase service time efficiency and make it easier for consumers to access professional computer service. A user-friendly interface and a simple ordering process can enhance user experience. This study recommends further system development by integrating digital payment methods and conducting more detailed classification accuracy testing to improve the quality of the service system's recommendations.

Abstract

In recent decades, the rapid growth of information technology has encouraged various industries to adopt digital-based systems, including the automotive industry. Web-based information systems have become innovative tools for managing sales, inventory, and direct reports (H. Widiani, 2024). These systems enable fast and accurate data access and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Web-based systems enable more organized data management, which helps optimize business operations (Angelo & Ridho, 2022). In this digital era, customers today require fast and accurate service in the digital era. Web-based sales information systems play a crucial role in improving transaction efficiency and data management accuracy. This study evaluates the system's functionality at the Bagio Jaya Workshop using a black-box method with a quantitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The evaluation focused on the system's feature completeness, functional effectiveness, and service quality. Test results showed that key features, such as Home, Customer Registration, Login, Spare Parts Search, Ordering, Payment, and Sales Reports, functioned according to specifications. The system can handle various input scenarios, both valid and invalid, thus improving the efficiency of sales data management. Furthermore, the intuitive interface facilitates ease of use for users with varying levels of technological literacy. In conclusion, the system functions optimally, improves operational efficiency, and provides user convenience. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of similar systems in various industrial sectors.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is an important stage in a child's development because it becomes the foundation for learning at the next level. In the context of education in Indonesia, Kindergarten (TK) has a strategic role in forming a strategic role in shaping a child's cognitive, social and emotional aspects. Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal Kindergarten (ABA Kindergarten) located on Jl. Tegalwulung, Jatibarang Village, Jatibarang District, Brebes Regency, currently still uses conventional methods in recording children's daily development. Every month, the development data is summarized and retyped conventionally using Microsoft Word to be made into a report or report card. This process is not only time-consuming, but also prone to human error, especially because the filling is done descriptively and differently for each child. In addition, the limited human resources (HR) who understand the use of computers is a challenge in accelerating and simplifying the process of preparing report cards. This study aims to analyze the current system using observation methods, interviews, library research studies, and questionnaire distribution. The analysis was conducted through a survey of the current system, identification of weaknesses, and gathering information needs. Based on the findings of this analysis, further research will design a website-based report card information system that is expected to improve the efficiency and accuracy of descriptive report card preparation. This system will help teachers manage child development data in a structured, timely, and error-free manner.

Abstract

Exam cheating is a persistent problem facing educational institutions worldwide. This cheating not only harms honest students but also undermines the integrity of the education system. In today's digital age, various forms of cheating are increasingly difficult to detect using manual proctoring methods. For example, test takers can use hidden technological devices or engage in non-verbal communication that is difficult for human proctors to detect. This suggests that traditional proctoring is less effective in addressing increasingly sophisticated cheating. Abstract Exam cheating is a serious problem that can compromise the integrity of the education system. Manual proctoring is often ineffective in identifying suspicious behavior that occurs during exams. This study aims to design and develop a machine learning-based exam cheating detection system with computer vision methods. This system uses facial recognition technology, motion tracking, and object detection to identify suspicious activities such as the use of prohibited devices or unusual movements automatically and in real-time. The method used involves a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm for participant face verification, pose estimation for motion analysis, and You Only Look Once (YOLO) for object detection. The results of this system development show that the system can improve efficiency and accuracy in detecting cheating behavior, as well as reduce reliance on manual proctoring.

Abstract

Effective and efficient personnel administration services are an urgent need for government agencies to improve the quality of governance of the State Civil Apparatus. The Bungo Regency Government has developed an integrated system for all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) called the Integrated ASN Management Information System (SIMASTER). One of the important services in SIMASTER is leave applications, which currently rely on a single level of approval, namely by the OPD admin. This mechanism is deemed not to fully reflect the government bureaucratic structure and has the potential to reduce accountability in the leave application process. Therefore, development is needed to implement a tiered approval feature in accordance with the flow of leave applications based on established rules. This study aims to design and implement a tiered approval feature in the leave application module in the Bungo Regency Integrated ASN Management Information System (SIMASTER). This development is expected to make the leave application process more transparent, structured, and accountable. The system development method used in this study was a prototype method. Testing was conducted using black box testing with the equivalence partitioning technique. The results showed that the developed system performed well, as measured by the trial phase using the black box testing method. A recommendation is to add a notification feature so that all processes can be immediately communicated to relevant parties.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the use of information technology in the government sector has become an urgent need to improve efficiency, transparency, and public services. Globally, digital transformation in the public sector is encouraging governments in various countries to build technology-based systems to strengthen governance and public participation (Nurkartika, 2025). In the context of the ever-growing digital transformation of government, the need for adaptive and responsive information systems is essential, especially in managing regulations and conducting public satisfaction surveys. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Regulatory Information System and Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) Survey at the Gunungsitoli City Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD). The software development method used is Waterfall, including the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In the implementation process, the system was built using the CodeIgniter 3 framework and SBAdmin template, with PHP, HTML, and CSS programming languages, and a MySQL database. Testing was carried out using the Blackbox Testing method and showed that all main features of the system, such as regulatory management, IKM survey input, and report generation, functioned validly. These results confirm that the system is capable of supporting agency operational efficiency, increasing public transparency, and strengthening the principles of good governance. Thus, this research not only contributes to improving the quality of public services, but also opens up opportunities for developing similar systems in other government agencies.

Abstract

State Property (BMN) is a crucial asset that supports the operations of government agencies and reflects state assets that must be managed in an orderly, efficient, and accountable manner. BMN management encompasses recording, maintenance, data updating, and reporting, which require a fast, accurate, and easily accessible information system. In response to these challenges, this study aims to implement a web-based BMN recording and updating system using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. This system is expected to improve recording accuracy, accelerate reporting, and support digital transformation in asset management within the Nias Regency Statistics Agency (BPS). Implementing the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is a strategic step to improve the accuracy of asset stock recording at the Nias Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) Office. Previously, manual spreadsheet-based asset management led to the risk of recording errors, reporting delays, and a lack of efficiency. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based system that supports the FIFO method to improve the accuracy and efficiency of asset stock management. Research data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, using a waterfall software development approach. The results showed that implementing the FIFO system improved stock accuracy by up to 95%, accelerated the audit process, and simplified reporting. Further development, such as integration with cloud technology and mobile applications, is recommended to support sustainable and efficient asset management within the Nias Regency BPS.
