Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between the implementation of school rules and the level of student discipline. Quantitative research methods use hypothesis testing with Kendall's Tau analysis and determination correlation analysis to measure the strength and significance of the relationship. The results of the hypothesis test show that the implementation of school rules has a strong and significant correlation with the level of student discipline at SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. Kendall's Tau analysis score of 0.000, smaller than the significance level of 0.01, confirms that the relationship between school rule implementation and student discipline is significant. A closeness of 0.568 indicates that the relationship is not only significant, but also strong and positive. Regression analysis showed a correlation value (R) of 0.805, indicating a positive relationship between the implementation of school rules and student discipline. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.648 indicates that 64.8% of the variation in student discipline can be explained by the implementation of school rules. Thus, it can be concluded that the better the implementation of school rules, the higher the level of student discipline at SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. The school needs to continue to pay attention and improve the quality of the implementation of school rules to maintain and improve the level of student discipline. In addition, this research contributes in the context of fostering students character and morals.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the responses of teachers and prospective teachers regarding the mentoring in creating Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) learning tools for early childhood education students using contexts from the surrounding environment. Environmental contexts were used in the learning process to understand concepts or learning materials more concretely. This was a qualitative descriptive research study. The data collection techniques used were explanations, question and answer sessions, and exercises. The result of this research was positive responses from teachers and prospective teachers based on the creation of PMRI learning tools for PAUD students using contexts from the surrounding environment.

Abstract

A reward is a method used by someone to give someone appreciation for having done something right, so that someone can be more enthusiastic in doing certain tasks and more motivated in doing other things and the process is better so that someone is able to achieve the success of something he does. This research discusses giving rewards to students given by their ustadzah ustadz to reward them for what they have achieved. In its application, ustadzah ustadz can give rewards in the form of words, praise, goods, pins, grades or other things. Rewards or awards given to students can increase their self-confidence, foster motivation to learn, and develop themselves. Practically speaking, appreciation means an act of appreciation or respect. Rewards can also be called rewards that are like gifts.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses bagi generasi muda untuk dapat menjalani kehidupannya dan mencapai tujuan hidupnya dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Pendidikan lebih dari sekedar mengajar, karena mengajar hanyalah suatu proses transfer ilmu pengetahuan, sedangkan pendidikan adalah transformasi nilai-nilai dan pembentukan kepribadian dengan segala aspek yang dicakupnya. Undang Undang Republik Indonesia No 8 Tahun 2016 Tentang Penyandang Disabilitas dalam pasal 1 menyebutkan Penyandang Disabilitas adalah setiap orang yang mengalami keterbatasan fisik, intelektual, mental, dan/atau sensorik dalam jangka waktu lama yang dalam berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sehingga dapat mengalami hambatan dan kesulitas untuk berpartisipasi secara penuh dan efektif dengan warga Negara lainnya berdasarkan kesamaan hak. Di Indonesia paradigma disabilitas adalah bagian dari keberagaman. Bahwa disabilitas bukan suatu penyakit. Dalam hal pelayanan publik maka disabilitas harus mendapat perlakuan sama dan setara dengan warga Negara Indonesia lainnya. Sedangkan penyandang disabilitas tunarungu merupakan suatu keadaan kehilangan pendengaran yang mengakibatkan seseorang tidak dapat atau kurang mampu menangkap berbagai rangsangan, terutama melalui indera pendengarannya yang tidak bisa mendengar ,membutuhkan kepekaan pendengaran saat di jalan raya. Disabilitas tunarungu memiliki hak yang sama dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari hari dengan rasa aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis materi Stand Up Comedy yang dibawakan oleh Bintang Emon di media you tube dan instagram. Stand Up Comedy menjadi salah satu acara komedi yang berbeda dari acara komedi pada umumnya. Materi berisi cerita atau pancalan yang memanfaatkan bahasa untuk memberikan informasi pada penoton dibuat lebih berkelas. Tujuannya menganalisis bagaimana jenis majas dan bentuk majas yang digunakan Bintang Emon ketika membawakan materi stand up comedy. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan teknik pemerolehan data simak dan catat. Hasil analisisnya ditemukan beberapa majas, seperti hiperbola, ironi, sarkasme, Majas Paralipsis Majas Hipalase Majas Antifrasis Majas Klimaks Majas Paranomasia Majas Zeugma dan Silepsis Majas Sinisme Majas Innuendo Majas Oksimoran Majas Histeron Proteron. Penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu materi ajar bahasa Indonesia untuk gaya bahasa. Dunia hiburan di televisi memberi ruang pada penonton untuk menginterpretasi tentang sesuatu yang ada di dalam konten tayangan. Berbagai acara disajikan demi memberi tontonan baik yang membuat haru, emosi, dan tawa. Salah satu yang menjadi icon hiburan kaum milenial adalah acara komedi yang disajikan dengan cara berbeda dari biasanya. Sebelumnya, tayangan komedi sering disajikan dalam bentuk film, drama, sitkom, atau acara realy show yang diisi dengan humor dan gimik.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education serves as an essential foundation within the mission of entrepreneurial universities. It plays a pivotal role in shaping students' mindsets and competencies. Achieving this objective also requires effective entrepreneurship teaching and curriculum design to align with the main goals of its implementation. The present study seeks to explore the overall students’ perceptions on the entrepreneurship courses. This is important to evaluate the course curriculum, delivery and other considerations to effectively facilitate students’ competencies, motivation and mindset to pursue entrepreneurship. Quantitative approach using survey method was employed to a small sample of 35 students (m=9, f=26) of undergraduate program of Management at Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. The findings from the quantitative descriptive analysis reveal positive attitudes towards entrepreneurship courses, with students acknowledging their effectiveness in enhancing knowledge, fostering creativity and innovation, and increasing motivation towards entrepreneurship. This study recommends that entrepreneurship educators, instructional designers, and faculty members should carefully consider the selection of learning materials, teaching methods, and evaluation tasks. Additionally, facilitating or encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities and providing counseling services are essential steps to involve students in practical, real-life entrepreneurial scenarios.

Abstract

The main role of the Arabic matriculation program is to prepare new students who have diverse educational backgrounds, so that their basic Arabic language skills can be equalized. The purpose of this study is to understand how the organizational management of the Arabic language matriculation program at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo's Arabic Language Education Study Program. This research applies qualitative method. The data collection process was conducted through interview techniques and documentation recording. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out with stages: 1) reducing data, 2) presenting data, and 3) drawing conclusions or verifying, from this study it can be concluded that the Arabic matriculation program has succeeded in equalizing the basic Arabic language skills for new students by measuring initial abilities, selecting appropriate teaching materials, class division, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this research are delegation of authority in this program is listed in the decision letter issued by the study program, complete with the duties and authority of each individual. Decision-making is based on deliberation between the study program and the management of the student association. Span of control is maintained through regular meetings, reporting, and effective communication between all relevant parties. The organizational structure involving the Study Program, the Department Student Association, the head of the language division, and tutors has a clear role in organizing and implementing the program.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas masalah yang sangat urgen dalam praktik ritual adat, yang menjadi simbol masyarakat Bangka. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terdapat dalam praktik ritual adat Rebokasan dan Mandi Belimau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dilakukan di desa Air Anyir dan desa Kimak Kecamatan Merawang Kabupaten Bangka provinsi kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif yang banyak melakukan wawancara dan disampaikan secara diskriptif narasi yang lebih luas dengan mengungkapkan fenomena nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dari praktik ritual adat Rebokasan dan Mandi Belimau. Ritual adat ini sudah lama dipertahankan secara turun temurun baik melalui metode ritual, menggunakan simbol dalam pelaksanaannya, bahkan menjadi ikon wisata daerah. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam ritual adat Rebokasan dan Mandi Belimau mengandung: nilai tauhid/aqidah, nilai ibadah dan nilai akhlak/moralitas yang terimplementasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam tersebut, menjadi acuan masyarakat Bangka dalam berinteraksi sosial dalam bermasyarakat dan beragama.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of several low grade students who cannot read and there are still many students who cannot read fluently. Besides that, the motivation for students' interest in learning to read, the researchers saw that there was still a lack of motivation in reading. This was seen when in teaching reading, many students did it compulsorily, meaning that there was no motivation from themselves so that improving reading comprehension was not optimal. The purpose of this research and development is to produce a product in the form of word card media and picture cards to stimulate low grade students' motivation to read in remote areas. The method used in developing the product uses the ADDIE model. The results of product development research get a preset score of 93.39% with a very valid/feasible to use category. Product practicality results get a score percentage of 95.83%. The results of the research product developed in the form of word card media and picture card media to arouse motivation in low grade students' learning interest in remote areas of SDN Inpres Kala, Bima Regency are appropriate for use in learning because they have met the validity and practicality indicators of the validator

Abstract

This study explores the impact of rewards, work environment, and motivation on the performance of administrative staff at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Malang. This study uses the Explanatory Research method with a sample of 47 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using path analysis and SMARTPLS3 as the statistical test. The results confirmed that reward and motivation directly impact staff performance, while the work environment has no direct impact. In addition, the findings suggest that motivation serves as a mediator in the relationship between rewards, work environment, and performance. The importance of providing appropriate rewards and creating conducive working conditions to stimulate motivation has been proven in this study. These results provide a valuable perspective for educational institutions in their efforts to improve the performance of education personnel in enhancing academic services.
