The ducks hatchery produces a number of waste comprises empty shells from hatched eggs, infertile eggs, dead embryos, and unhatched eggs. The presence of the waste in large amount can cause an environmental pollution. Furthermore, it has a potential but has not received enough attention in terms of utilization as feed ingredient in poultry ration. It contains a substantial amount of nutrients such as protein and calcium, and can be processed into hatchery waste meal that can be applied as an inconventional feed ingredient in ducks ration. The purpose of this activity was to process the ducks hatchery waste into hatchery waste meal to be applied in the ration of local ducks. We colaborated with the Farmers Group of Sabar Sabar 1 and Subur Subur 2 in the Village Gaum, Tasikmadu, Karanganyar. This activity comprises of two stages. The first stage was instructional methods and dialogue through socialization, whereas the second stage was the practical of the hatchery waste meal production and its application in ration. The benefits of this activity is the application of hatchery waste meal can increase ducks productivity, minimize the costs of ration and can reduce the impact of hatchery waste on environmental pollution.Keywords: hatchery waste, local ducks, ration, farmers

The purpose of this program is to solve the production and management problems experienced two micro entrepreneurs who produce instant herbs and herbal drinks in Solo, namely Jamu At Tiin and Yenny’s Natural Beverages Home Industry. The production problems are limited tool resource that causes length of processing time, labor fatigue and ineffectiveness of the production process. Management problem faced by both partners is a problem of marketing their products. First partner’s products marketed through direct deposited at pharmacies around, and the second partner’s products marketed limited by waiting for customers to come to the house to buy their products. Improvements that purposed to overcome the production problems are repairing production process through providing working tools such as instant mixer and herbal grinder. Improvements on management area are with the provision of an online store website along with operational training for first partners and the provision of mobile booth as an increase in marketing tools for second partners. After service activities is carried out, obtained improved performance in the form of reduced processing time, good mixing of raw materials and the instant herbal milling process, and reduced operator fatigue due to the mixing process is done the machine. In terms of marketing, the first partner’s market area become increased, second partner’s marketing also becomes easier and more flexible.Keywords: herbal, instant mixer, grinder, online

This research aims to 1) Improve the ability to write scientific papers for teachers of Geography in Boyolali district and Sragen; 2) Improving the understanding of teachers in the publishing of scientific papers in journals and popular science magazines. This research uses the questionnaire method described in deskripstif qualitatively. The teachers gathered in a workshop related scientific papers followed by filling the questionnaire. This method is deliberately done to facilitate the coordination of collecting data from informants. Data retrieval is packaged in the form of activities that preceded the workshop is considered effective to gather teachers, which in this study as an informant. To deepen the data generated from the questionnaire, research activities continued in the form of coaching and mentoring teachers to write scientific papers by submitting scientific papers to the editors of scientific journals.Results of research in the form of training and mentoring the writing of scientific papers proven to optimize the climate and teacher motivation in writing scientific articles and research results in the form of ideas. Articles are arranged expected to be published in national scientific journals ISSN. Besides the training and mentoring is very helpful teachers to obtain credit in the number of scientific publications. Writing scientific articles become an important and integral part in efforts to improve teacher quality through continuous professional development. Teachers spearhead educational success, but on the other hand teachers must constantly develop oneself to work. Sanggrahan Village, Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency is one of the areas that has many home-based processed food industries. Madu mongso is one of the processed food products in this village. Madu mongso is a snack food made from fermented glutinous rice and addition of sugar and coconut milk. Madu mongso is similar to dodol. Problems faced by madu mongso partners are not yet diversifying raw materials, production capacity is still small, packaging not yet appropriate, not yet have p-irt. The solution offered to the local mongso honey processing industry is through the production process of mongso honey introduction technology made from tubers and fruits (cassava, carrots, soursop) in an effort to diversify the products; The introduction of appropriate technology for the processing of honey mongso in the form of mixing machine; The introduction of various technologies of packaging materials; Home industry food permit (p-irt); And IT-based marketing training and direct selling strategies. In addition, the team has also provided equipment to improve the quality and production capacity of mongso honey mixers and heating, as well as packaging tools that can be used by to support the packaging process.Key words: domestic industry, madu mongso, glutinous rice, quality, diversification

The purpose of science and technology for the Community Service is to provide training to apply the method of waste water treatment EcoTech garden for ease of processing of domestic wastewater for communities Jebres. Training provided through four stages: (1) preparation, (2) understanding of waste treatment (3) implementation of (4) the evaluation by the method of presentation, demonstration, and practice. These activities will provide the knowledge and skills of people in processing the domestic wastewater they produce every day. Wastewater treatment using EGA is one of the treatment options appropriate given the characteristics of the waste water gray water with a relatively small organic load as well as nitrogen and phosphate are quite high. This service activities contribute to provide convenience to the public in treating domestic wastewater they produce every day through methods EcoTech garden. Thus, people will have a good knowledge of how the processing of domestic wastewater.Keywords: ecotech garden, waste water treatment.

The purpose science and technology for the Community Service is to provide counseling to teachers to do: (1) development of a laboratory model of the classroom as an integrated and where students of class IV and V in learning science. The design of this model is that in one corner of the room has been laid out practical tools ready to use with the IPA SD labeled with hints of good practice for use in experiments each item IPA SD, (2) refresh the entire scope of the basic concepts of materials science SD High Class with conduct demonstration experiments and preparation of simple science tools in the subject-subject taught in high grade,(3) creat simple IPA instrument lab from scrap materials or practical tools in the box KIT IPA SD.This activity contributes to equip and enrich the primary school teachers in managing good learning process focused on the study of elementary science with lab-based integrated development class area that facilitate experimental equipment ready for use (ready to use). The purpose science and technology for the Community Service to empower people reservoirs cengklik District of Ngemplak, Boyolali to develop mushroom cultivation through the application of appropriate technology for the processing of water hyacinth. This step once Cengklik dam maintenance of water hyacinth weeds. This service activities do: (1) provide training to the public on the application of appropriate technology for the processing of water hyacinth as a mushroom growing media development for pioneering the cultivation of mushrooms; (2) empower the reservoir area Cengklik District of Ngemplak to develop mushroom cultivation by adopting appropriate technologies hyacinth processing an effort to create food availability and improving the quality of society and the economy Cengklik dam maintenance of water hyacinth weeds. These activities are carried out through four stages: (1) planning; (2) manufacture mushroom farmer groups; (3) training; and (4) evaluation. Nowadays, the ASEAN Community supported by three pillars: political-security, economy and social-cultural pillars have come into force since the end of 2015. Entry into force of the ASEAN Community is automatically binding on all government and society in ASEAN, including in Surakarta. Some preliminary studies indicate that there are still many government officials do not understand the concept of the ASEAN Community. Village as well as sub-district officials are most strategic unit because they are dealing directly with the public. Therefore, strengthening the understanding among village and sub-district officials is important so that the concept of ASEAN Community can be clearly understood by the society and they are expected to obtain benefit from the ongoing ASEAN Community.Key words: ASEAN Community, ASEAN Economic Community, local government, small scale enterprise.
