Abstract

The selection of candidates to become Service Ambassadors is an important and complex process. Assessors need to consider many factors and the relative weight of each factor to ensure the best candidate is selected for the position. One method that can be used in candidate selection is the ORESTE method. The ORESTE method is a multi-criteria decision-making method developed by J.P. Brans and B. Mareschal in 1994. This method allows assessors to aggregate multiple criteria and consider the relative weight of each criterion to compare alternatives and produce a ranking of candidates based on the highest relative value. In the context of Service Ambassador selection, the ORESTE method can assist assessors in solving complex decision-making problems and ensuring the best candidate is selected for the position. The method allows raters to consider multiple criteria and consider the relative weight of each criterion, resulting in a ranking of candidates based on the highest relative value. Thus, the use of the ORESTE method in determining the selection of Tourism Ambassadors can simplify and speed up the candidate selection process, as well as increase accuracy and satisfaction in decision making. By using the ORESTE method, the results of the decision to select the winner of the Service Ambassador event are obtained with a preference value of 4.42

Abstract

The need to use information systems in the digital world is absolutely necessary for a company. With an information system, it will be easier for companies to process data, store data and make decisions. One of the information system implementations that companies need is an accounting information system that regulates cash receipts and disbursements. However, currently there are still many companies that still store their transaction data traditionally using Microsoft Excel and are not yet computerized. Based on data obtained from interviews conducted with a company accountant, it is known that errors occurred when processing data which had an impact on financial reports, namely when inputting data into Microsoft Excel there was still data that was missed, resulting in incorrect financial reports. balance due to errors in recording transactions. By implementing a website-based cash accounting information system, it makes it easier for accountants to collect data in the cash book. This information system was created using the PHP programming language with Laravel as the framework and Extreme Programming as the development method. Extreme Programming was chosen because it requires good and regular communication with the client to adjust system needs. This information system consists of 3 iterations which have a processing time of 32 days. System testing was carried out using User Acceptance Testing with an average percentage obtained of 86.8%. These results can be indicated that the system is running properly and can be understood well by the client or user.

Abstract

Using a state-of-the-art convolutional neural network, specifically RESNET-50, for disease diagnosis on mango leaves is the focus of this research. The end goal is to develop a trustworthy method of mango plant disease detection using leaf image analysis. The approach used comprised gathering a sizable dataset encompassing a range of mango leaf diseases. Afterward, a classification system was developed by training the RESNET-50 model on image data. The system is able to learn extraordinarily intricate and profound visual patterns in pictures of mango leaves thanks to RESNET-50's deep and complicated architecture, which improves feature extraction. With a Test Accuracy of 99.16% and a Test Loss of only 0.4332, the results demonstrate a very reliable system. This impressive level of precision verifies that the system is capable of correctly distinguishing and categorizing mango leaf diseases. Consequently, this case demonstrates promising agricultural applications of the RESNET-50 model and offers a dependable and effective means of disease detection in mango plants. This study adds to the growing body of knowledge that can aid agricultural professionals and farmers in the early detection of disease symptoms on mango leaves, allowing for the prompt implementation of preventative measures. These findings also have broader implications, such as the potential for better agricultural productivity and management brought about by the use of comparable technologies for disease analysis in different crops.

Abstract

The increase in network traffic is caused by an imbalance between the number of users and the provision of network capacity, causing the decrease of network performance. This is often found in densely populated areas with a large number of users so that the use of cellular access services is fairly high. For this reason, it is necessary to optimize the network, one of which is by replacing existing devices (swap). Site 31140_Lubuk Bukit, Pauh District, Padang is one of the base stations that has a performance issue, which has a low throughput value (±5Mbps) and a high traffic value of 83 GB/day with Flexi Multi Radio device type and sectoral antenna. Therefore, the existing equipment is replaced, from the FMR type to the Airscale type which minimizes the use of sectoral equipment and antenna types (3 sectors) to multisectoral (6 sectors). The measurement process is carried out using two methods, namely the COST-231 propagation model for the frequency of 1800 MHz and the Stanford University Interim (SUI) for the frequency of 2100 MHz then the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) parameters with the parameters of accessibility, retainability, integrity, mobility, usage, propagation loss and receive power. The results showed that the optimization carried out by the swap method could improve the site's performance, namely a decrease in traffic reaching 31.42% and an increase in throughput up to 60% and followed by an increase in other parameters that have met the threshold value.

Abstract

Puzzles have been recognized for their development as a popular form of entertainment due to their ability to intricately challenge the mind while engendering creativity in the player. The development of puzzle games has given rise to a new generation of puzzle games characterized by diverse sequences and different image variations. With the rapid development of puzzle games, we looked at solving approaches using Genetic Algorithms (GA). In this paper, we try to analyze several puzzle games such as Sliding Blocks, Sudoku, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Jigsaw that can be solved using GA. We found that 120 papers have examined the use of GA for puzzle games, and eliminated into 14 papers. We evaluated these 14 papers for each puzzle game we selected by comparing the chromosome representation, GA operator, GA parameters, and the results. Based on the discussion, the application of GA to solve puzzle games can be effectively executed with a high degree of accuracy. Puzzle games that use measurement methods such as Sliding Block, Sudoku, and Jigsaw run in a similar pattern. What is common to all of them is that the chromosomes are represented as matrices or arrays in all cases, and standard genetic operators such as selection, crossover, and mutation are used. The population size is large, often 1000 chromosomes, and parameters such as mutation rate are kept low, around 5%. On the other hand, the performance of GA for solving Tetris and Tic-Tac-Toe from each publication cannot be compared due to different measurement methods and metrics.
