Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of technology-based learning objectives in in-depth learning by Islamic Education teachers from the perspective of the Deputy Headmaster for Curriculum at State Senior High School 9 Pontianak. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the main informant, namely the Deputy Headmaster for Curriculum, referred to in this study as the Deputy Headmaster for Curriculum, and supported by observations of Islamic Education teachers. The data were then analysed using Miles and Huberman's method, which includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study show that Islamic Education teachers have begun to utilise technology in the learning process, such as the use of Canva, Wayground (Quiziz) and YouTube. However, this implementation is still dominant in the aspect of material delivery and does not yet fully support the achievement of deep learning that integrates cognitive, affective and spiritual aspects. The deputy headmaster for curriculum assessed that the main supporting factors were the availability of digital infrastructure and adaptive school policies, while the inhibiting factors included the low digital literacy of some teachers and limited time in designing project-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of information technology media in Islamic Religious Education learning as an effort to strengthen students’ religiosity. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field research method to obtain an in-depth understanding of technology-based Islamic Religious Education learning practices within a real school context. Data were collected through observations of the learning process, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students, and the examination of supporting documents such as lesson plans and students’ digital project outputs. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the integration of information technology media in Islamic Religious Education learning at vocational high schools is implemented systematically, starting from the planning, implementation, interaction, to evaluation stages of learning. Teachers utilize various digital media, including multimedia presentations, religious videos, online learning platforms, interactive quizzes, and digital projects based on Islamic values. The integration of information technology media has a positive impact on strengthening students’ religiosity, as reflected in improved religious understanding (cognitive), religious attitudes and awareness (affective), as well as religious practices and the expression of Islamic values through digital works (praxis). In addition, technology-based Islamic Religious Education learning promotes the development of Islamic digital literacy, creativity, and active student participation in the learning process.

This research contains a study on the application of mock-up media in history learning in Islamic acculturation materials. The main purpose of this study is to examine the application of mock-up media of the Great Mosque of Demak in learning the history of acculturation materials of the Islamic Kingdom. In addition to being a learning medium for the history of the Demak Grand Mosque mockup, it also has the potential to be used as an enrichment in learning Islamic History and Islamic Religious Education. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, which focuses on depicting phenomena in depth. The stages in this study consist of data collection, data filtering, presentation of results, and drawing conclusions or validating data. Information was collected from observations, documentation, interviews with history subject teachers, deputy heads of curriculum and X DKV students participating as research subjects. The results of the study show that the implementation of learning media using mockups can give a real impression of the object of the Great Mosque of Demak. History learning using a mock-up of the Great Mosque of Demak provides a better understanding for students regarding the form of acculturation of Islamic culture with the archipelago. The results of the evaluation show that the implementation of learning using a mock-up of the Great Mosque of Demak can illustrate the ability of students to develop. The use of mock-up media of the Great Mosque of Demak can make it easier for teachers to explain learning materials and create contextual learning so that learning goals are achieved.

Abstract

Cyberbullying has emerged as a critical issue among adolescents, necessitating effective educational interventions. This study aims to analyze the effect of integrating Akidah Akhlak learning and digital literacy on students’ anti-cyberbullying behavior. The study employed a positivist quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design, as it utilized existing classes without random assignment of participants. The research was conducted at MTs NU Putra 2 Buntet Pesantren Cirebon and involved 47 students, consisting of 23 seventh-grade students as the experimental group and 24 eighth-grade students as the control group. The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling as well as total sampling, since the entire accessible population was included in the study. Data were collected using standardized and validated questionnaires to measure students’ attitudes and behaviors related to cyberbullying. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics with the assistance of SPSS version 26, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample t-test at a significance level of 5% (p < 0,05). The results revealed a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental and control groups (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05), with the experimental group achieving a higher mean score (85,50) compared to the control group (72,15). It can be concluded that integrating spiritual values through Akidah Akhlak learning with digital literacy competencies is effective in strengthening students’ anti-cyberbullying behavior; therefore, schools are encouraged to systematically combine moral education with the enhancement of digital literacy.

Abstract

This religious character building should ideally begin at an early age, because elementary school is a crucial environment where the foundations of a child's character begin to form. Religious education in elementary school plays a strategic role in strengthening religious character. The contextual learning approach has emerged as a solution, seeking to connect the subject matter with the real lives of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Three main techniques are used: in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study. Data analysis is conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. Meanwhile, data validity techniques include extended observation and triangulation. The results of the study show that the religious education program at SDS Islam Ulul Albab Jember is planned collaboratively with appropriate documents and targets. The program is implemented from morning to noon based on the principles of exemplary behavior and habit formation. Meanwhile, the evaluation process is carried out through tasmi' exams from external parties and monitoring by parents using a book of religious practices. The strengthening of the religious character of students includes a character that not only understands religion in terms of rituals but also its knowledge so that they become closer to Allah. Religious character is strengthened with a variety of contextual strategies through tadarus keliling learning and methods of reprimand and teacher role modeling. Both strategies are part of the Context Teaching and Learning approach, which can have a direct impact on increasing awareness of religion and culture, reminding each other.

Abstract

Islamic character education plays a crucial role in supporting the moral and spiritual development of students in Islamic higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the influence of uswah hasanah and religious maturity on Islamic character education among students at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Ulil Abshar Ponorogo. The research employed a quantitative survey design, involving 200 students selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation, were conducted before  regression  analysis.  The  results  indicate  that  uswah  hasanah  has  a  positive  and  significant partial effect of 44,1% on Islamic character education, while religious maturity contributes a positive and  significant  effect  of  41,5%.  Simultaneously,  both  variables  explain  56,4%  of  the  variance  in students’ Islamic character  education, with the remaining 43,6% influenced by factors outside the study. These findings highlight the importance of exemplary behavior and religious maturity as key determinants  of  Islamic  character  formation  and  emphasize  the  need  for  a  holistic  approach integrating religious, social, and everyday experiential aspects in character development.
