Abstract

Purpose - This study was to determine competence and work environment on the quality of community services in the population and civil registration services of the district Lahat.Design/methodology - the number of respondents in this research was 40 responden. From the partial test (t test) competence (X1) t count 4.892> t table 2.023 and significant level 0.000 < 0,05 mean competence a significant effect on the quality of community services in the population and civil registration services of the district Lahat (Y). and the partial test (t test) work environment variabel (X2) t count 3.335 > t table 2.023 and significant level 0.02<0,05 mean work environment a significant effect on the quality of community services in the population and civil registration services of the district Lahat (Y).Findings - From ANOVA test or F test obtained f count 18.442 with probability 0.000 ( P value < ? ) then Ho and Hi received. so competence and work environment together have a significant effect on the quality of community services in the population and civil registration services of the district Lahat (Y).

Abstract

ABSTRACTPurpose - This study aims to determine and analyze, 1). The influence of leadership style on teacher performance. 2). Effect of satisfaction on teacher performance. 3). The influence of leadership style has an impact on decision making. 4). The effect of job satisfaction has an impact on decision making at the Muhammadiyah High School and Vocational School in Palembang, and 5). The effect of teacher performance has an impact on decision making.Design/methodology - The design of this research is associative research by connecting between variables. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data, and respondents' answers were 80 teachers in the Muhammadiyah High School and SMK Palembang City. The analytical method used is path analysis and through testing the validity and reliability. Test data used to determine the characteristics of the data are the normality test and linearity test. The test model used consisted of multicollinity test and heterodecacity test.Findings - 1). Teacher leadership style and job satisfaction significantly influence teacher performance. 2). Leadership style and job satisfaction have an impact on decision making. 5). Teacher performance has an impact on decision making in the Muhammadiyah High School and SMK Palembang City. Implications: This study provides results that motivation and competence are supporting factors for improving employee performance.Keywords : Leadership Style, Job Satisfaction, Performance and Decision Making.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, compensation and competence on the performance of records management employees in the Ogan Komering Ilir Regency  Government.Design/methodology - The design of this research is associative research by connecting between variables. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data, and respondents' answers are 120 employees  in  the  Government  of  Ogan  Komering  Ilir  Regency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression and through testing the validity and reliability. Test data used to determine the characteristics of the data are the normality test and linearity test. The test model used consisted of multicollinity test and heterodecacity test, assisted by SPSS for windows version 22 with a significance level of  0.05.Findings - The results of multiple linear regression testing show compensation motivation and competence together have a significant influence on employee performance. Partially motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while compensation has no positive and significant effect on employee performance.Implications: This study provides the results that motivation and competence are supporting factors for improving employee performance..

Abstract

Purpose - This research is intended to find out the influence some of the ofthesome of the fundamental financial performance tool namely return on investment (ROI), economic value added (EVA) and market value added (MVA) to the stock return partially and simultaneously.  Design/methodology - The data used is secondary data from 18 selected non banking companies using purposive sampling methods in the period of February 2011-Augtust 2015. The analysis technique has been done by using multiple regressions. The classic assumption test which consists of normality test, multicollinearitytest, autocorrelation test and heteroscedasticity test didnot experience any serious problem. Findings – The model feasibility test shows that the research model is feasible to be used for further test. The result of the t test shows that partially return on investment and economic value added  did not have any significant influence to the stock return, whereas a market value added has significant influence to the stock return. Meanwhile,ROI, EVA and MVA have significant influence to the stock return simultaneously.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the product quality to customer satisfiction Honda Motorcycle In Astra Plaju.Design/methodology - The design of this research was Associative and the data was used primary data. The Sample was  including 100 respondents customer who use Honda Motorcycle In Astra Plaju. Findings – The results of F–test showed that there was influence of performance of product, capability of service on customer satisfaction Honda Motorcycle in Astra Plaju Palembang.  The result of t test indicated that reliability variable partially most dominant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Purpose - The objective of this study was to assess the risk of the stock return by using CAPM model to determine the investment option at Jakarta Islamic Index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and to find the risk of the return which was expected by CAPM Model.Design/methodology - The population of this study was 52 companies which were listed at JII in 2010-2014. The sample of this study was chosen by using purposive sampling method. The numbers of the companies were 12 companies. Data analysis technique in this study was by using the monthly closing share price dara registered in JII, JII market index, and interest rates of SBI.Findings – The result of this study showed that out of twelve companies, there were four stocks that could be used as the investment option, namely PT. Alam Sutra Reality, tbk, PT. Astra International, tbk, PT. Lippo Karawaci, tbk, PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, tbk. The result of hypothesis testing with a simple linear regression t-test found that t value > t table (-24,249>-2,228) with significant value (0,00<0,05) , it indicated that there was a significant influence between beta and CAPM expected return.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose - The problem of this study was whether or not the influence of  Compensation and Work Discipline on Employees’ Performance at PT Vita Mandiri Jaya (Dunkin 'Donuts) of Palembang.Design/methodology - Objective os study was for investigating the influence of Compensation and Work Discipline on Employees’ Performance at PT Vita Mandiri Jaya (Dunkin 'Donuts) of Palembang. These variables of the study were  compensation, work Discipline and Employees’ Performance. In this study, samples taken by 43 respondents. Sample method used saturated sampling method. Data used in this study are primary data. Data collection techniques used  questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is the qualitative and quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression analysis.Findings – The results showed that there was an effect simultaneously Compensation (X1) and Discipline Work (X2) on Employees’ Performance (Y) for Fobtained (5.233)> F table (4.08). it meant H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. There was partially the influence of Compensation (X1) on Employees’ Performance (Y) for tobtained (2.977) X1> t table (1.682) it meant  H0 rejected and Ha accepted, did not influence beetwen Work  Discipline (X2) on  Employees’ performance (Y) for tobtained (0.377) <t table (1.682) meaning H0 was accepted and was Ha rejected.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this research are to identify and analyse the influence of the individual characteristics and organization climate on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance of PT. PLN (Persero) Region-S2JB Branch Lahat..Design/methodology – This research takes 107 people as a sampling that conducted by census. Data analysis was performed with the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Lisrel software.Findings - There are positives and significants effect in partially and simultaneously of individual characteristics variable and organization climate on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance. Individual characteristics have dominant influence on job satisfaction and its impact to employee performance. The implications of managerial can suggestion to increase employee performance with increase individual characteristics, organizational climate, and job satisfaction of employee. To increase individual characteristics, its can give interpersonal skill training and placement employee according their skill, to increase organizational climate with repairing work tools, and to increase job satisfaction, it can give training of leadership for chairman.

Abstract

Purpose –The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of work environment and work discipline on employee performance of PT. Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang.  Design/methodology –This type of research in this study was associative. The population in this study was the number of PT.Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang, amounting to 120 employees and sample staken as many as 54 respondents with the sampling technique Proportionate Sampling. The analytical method used qualitative quantitative. The data analysis technique in this research was multiple linear regression, F test, t test, coefficient of determination .Findings - The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive effect on environmental variables and work discipline on employee performance of PT.Anugrah Argon Medica Palembang. The results of F hypothesis test together showed that there was a significant effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance.The resultsoft hypothesis test individually showed that there was a significant effect of work environment on employee performance.The results of hypothesis test also showed that there was a significant effect of work discipline on empl oyee performance. The results of the coefficient of determination on work environment and work discipline were only able to contribute to changes that occurred in employee performance by 44.3%.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to determine the effect of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy to customer satisfaction of Go-Ride service users in the gojek transportation services business. This research is a quantitative research and take population of Palembang City people who have used Go-Ride services in the go-jek transportation services business.Design/methodology   -  The       research            sample  uses theLameshow equation which is 96,04 rounded to 96 respondent. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or a closed questionnaire with alternative answers using a Likert scale. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis using the F test and t test.Findings - The results of this study are: (1) there is no positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of consumers of Go-Ride service users, with t-count-0,266 <t-table 1,985, significance of 0,791> 0.05;(2) there is no positive and significant influence dimension of reliability to customer satisfaction of Go-Ride service users, with t-count0,505 <t- table 1,985, significance 0,615>0,05; (3) there is no positive and significant effect on the dimension of responsiviness to consumer satisfaction of Go-Ride service users, with t-count0,475 < t-table 1,985, significance 0,636> 0,05, (4) there is no positive and significant effect on the assurance dimension to customer satisfaction of Go-Ride service users, with t-count1,546 <t-table 1,985, significance 0,128> 0,05; (5 ) there is a positive and significant influence of empathy dimension on consumer satisfaction of users of Go-Ride services, with t-count 2.148> t-table 1.985, significance 0.034 <0.05, (6) there is a positive influence if and significant tangible dimensions, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy for the satisfaction of consumers' satisfaction of users of Go-Ride services, with F-count9,339> F-table2.32 with a significance of 0,000 <0.05.
