Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru terhadap integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam mata pelajaran umum, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong integrasi tersebut, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap proses pembelajaran. Menggunakan pendekatan interpretif dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi untuk memahami konteks pengajaran, serta wawancara mendalam guna menggali faktor-faktor pendorong dan mengevaluasi dampak integrasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pengalaman pribadi guru, baik sebagai siswa maupun mahasiswa, serta kebijakan kurikulum di Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT), menjadi pendorong utama integrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam mata pelajaran umum dilakukan secara alami dengan menyisipkan nilai-nilai dan fakta Islami yang relevan, meskipun tantangan muncul dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pencapaian tujuan akademis dan pengajaran nilai-nilai Islam. Para guru berperan penting sebagai teladan, tidak hanya sebagai penyampai ilmu tetapi juga sebagai pembentuk karakter siswa. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam terbukti tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran akademis, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk karakter Islami siswa, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan moralitas, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab. Dampak positif integrasi ini terlihat dalam peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran, sekaligus membentuk mereka menjadi individu yang berakhlak baik dan berintegritas, sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Kesimpulannya, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam mata pelajaran umum memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan pengembangan karakter siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine The Effect of Gratitude on Body Image in Early Adult Women in Medan City. Based on the results of research conducted on 301 early adult female respondents aged 18–25 years in Medan City, it shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is a positive and significant influence between gratitude on body image, as much as 13.6% of variations in body image can be explained by the level of gratitude, while others are influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. In addition to gratitude, there are other variables or factors that also influence body image, including: Self-esteem (Rifka & Prasetyo, 2019), Social and media pressure (Perloff, 2014), Social comparison (Fardouly et al., 2015), Social support (Tiggemann & Slater, 2004) and Interpersonal Experience (Cash & Pruzinsky, 2002). The majority of respondents in this study had a high level of gratitude (74.4%), reflecting their ability to respond positively to life experiences, including their own physical condition. Individuals with high levels of gratitude tend to be more accepting of themselves as a whole, view their bodies as a gift, and are less affected by social pressures regarding physical appearance. These findings support the theory of Emmons & McCullough (2003), which states that gratitude is a form of positive emotion that can improve psychological well-being and self-acceptance, including physical aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Influence of Peer Social Support on Quarter-Life Crisis in Final-Year Students in Medan City. Based on the results of research conducted on 158 final-year students in Medan City, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between peer social support and quarter-life crisis. This study uses a simple linear regression analysis method to test the hypothesis and determine how much fluence the independent variable (peer social support) has on the dependent variable (quarter-life crisis). The results of the analysis show that the significance value is 0.000 (<0.05), so the alternative hypothesis (H₁ ) is accepted. This means that there is a real influence of peer social support on quarter-life crisis in final-year students. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.221 indicates that 22.1% of the variation in quarter-life crisis can be explained by peer social support. In other words, the higher the level of social support students receive from their peers, the lower the level of quarter-life crisis they experience. Conversely, low social support has the potential to worsen the crisis condition. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.216 strengthens the consistency of the model even with corrections to the number of variables used.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on the psychological well-being of social media users among students in Medan City. The sampling technique in this study is by using one of the non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique based on consideration of the criteria of the research subjects according to what the researcher wants to study and draw conclusions. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) does not have a significant influence on psychological well-being (PWB) in students. This is also shown by the R value of 0.076 which indicates a very small influence between the two variables. The R Square value of 0.006 indicates that only 0.6% of the variability in psychological well-being can be explained by FoMO, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model. The Adjusted R Square value of -0.001 also indicates that this regression model cannot be generalized and has very low predictive ability. In addition, the ANOVA test results show a calculated F value of 0.850 with a significance (p) of 0.358 (> 0.05), which means that the regression model is not statistically significant. Thus, the null hypothesis (H₀ ) is accepted and the alternative hypothesis (H₁ ) is rejected. This means that there is no significant influence between FoMO on psychological well-being in students in this study.

Abstract

The rapid adoption of ChatGPT in education raises various ethical concerns, especially within the context of Buddhist Religious Education, which emphasizes moral and spiritual values. This study aims to examine the ethical use of ChatGPT in Buddhist Religious Education based on the principles of the Dhamma. The research employs a literature review method with a descriptive-comparative approach, analyzing Buddhist canonical texts such as the Tipiṭaka and recent scholarly articles on AI ethics. The findings reveal that Buddhist ethics differ from secular ethics by focusing on intention, mental awareness, and spiritual transformation, rather than merely consequences or rule-based obligations. Comparatively, secular ethics tend to be consequentialist and deontological, while Buddhist ethics are rooted in inner qualities and moral harmony. Based on this comparison, the proposed solution is to promote the wise and mindful use of ChatGPT as a supportive tool—rather than a replacement for teachers—while upholding the teacher's role as a moral and spiritual guide. Furthermore, the integration of core values such as wisdom (paññā), honesty (sacca), and mindfulness (sati) is essential in the learning process. Future research is recommended to empirically examine the effectiveness of these ethical guidelines in the context of Buddhist education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Work Engagement Di Pt. X Medan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang diterapkan untuk pengambilan sampel adalah stratified random sampling .Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan judul "Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi terhadap Work Engagement di PT.X Medan," dapat disimpulkan bahwa:Ditemukan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap work engagement pada karyawan tetap di PT. X Medan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berada di bawah batas signifikansi 0,05, sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,717 mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi budaya organisasi yang diterapkan dalam perusahaan, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat work engagement karyawan. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,514 menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi mampu menjelaskan 51,4% variasi dalam work engagement, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 48,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.Mayoritas responden, yaitu sebanyak 162 orang (73,3%), berada dalam kategori budaya organisasi tinggi. Sementara itu, sebanyak 46 orang (20,8%) termasuk dalam kategori sedang, dan hanya 13 orang (5,9%) yang memiliki budaya organisasi rendah. Mayoritas responden, yaitu sebanyak 159 orang (71,9%), berada dalam kategori work engagement tinggi. Sebanyak 47 orang (21,3%) berada dalam kategori sedang, dan hanya 15 orang (6,8%) yang termasuk dalam kategori rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of social comparison on social media on self-esteem in early adulthood. Based on the results of research on the influence of social comparison on social media on Self Esteem in early adulthood in Medan City, the following conclusions can be drawn: The results of the study indicate that social comparison on social media has a significant and negative effect on self-esteem in early adulthood individuals. This means that the more often someone compares themselves to others on social media, the greater the likelihood of their self-esteem or self-esteem decreasing. Most respondents in this study had a high level of self-esteem, even though they also had a high level of social comparison. This shows that not all social comparisons have a direct negative impact, because some individuals are still able to maintain a positive view of themselves, perhaps due to other factors such as social support, personality, or strong internal values. When viewed based on the social comparison aspect, it is known that physical attractiveness and lifestyle are the two aspects that are most often compared by respondents when they use social media. This means that many respondents feel triggered to compare their appearance and lifestyle with what is seen in other people's posts. While aspects of personality and wealth are also compared, but not as much as these two aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Locally Generated Revenue (PAD) and community welfare in driving economic growth in Bojonegoro Regency. PAD is one of the main sources of financing for regional development, while community welfare is an indicator of the success of sustainable development. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with secondary data analysis obtained from official publications of the Central Statistics Agency and related agencies in Bojonegoro Regency over the past five years. The results show that PAD has a positive influence on regional economic growth, primarily through increased development spending. On the other hand, the level of community welfare—as measured by indicators of poverty, unemployment, and the human development index (HDI)—also contributes significantly to the dynamics of economic growth. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between optimizing PAD and improving community welfare in creating inclusive and sustainable economic growth at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Toxic Masculinity on Father Involvement in Parenting in the Toba Batak Tribe. From the results of research and data analysis conducted on Toba Batak fathers, the following conclusions can be drawn. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant negative influence between toxic masculinity and father involvement in parenting. This means that the stronger the values of toxic masculinity held by a father, the lower his involvement in childcare, both emotionally, physically, and communicatively. The majority of Toba Batak fathers in this study were in the moderate category in terms of involvement (father involvement), especially in the aspects of engagement and accessibility. However, involvement in the aspect of responsibility was relatively higher, which indicates that fathers tend to focus more on fulfilling economic needs than emotional closeness with children. Most respondents also had a moderate level of toxic masculinity, with the most dominant aspects being violence, misogyny, and greed. This indicates that traditional masculinity values still strongly influence the way fathers play their roles in the family.This study shows that the tendency towards toxic masculinity behavior contributes 20.7% to father involvement in parenting, while the remaining 79.3% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Analisis Makna Mambosuri Sebagai Kearifan Lokal Budaya Batak Toba. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Pematangsiantar-Simalungun. Sebagai tempat Penelitian karena di daerah tersebut masih melakukan tradisi mambosuri dalam acara adat kelahiran Berdasarkan analisis mendalam yang telah dilakukan melalui serangkaian penelitian dan pembahasan mengenai makna mambosuri sebagai representasi kearifan lokal dalam kebudayaan Batak Toba, yang ditinjau melalui lensa kajian semiotika, maka peneliti menarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Mambosuri, sebuah tradisi yang kaya makna dalam siklus kehidupan masyarakat Batak Toba, khususnya menandai tujuh bulan kehamilan anak pertama, terungkap melalui kajian semiotika bukan sekadar sebagai ritual seremonial belaka. Lebih dari itu, tradisi ini menjelma menjadi sebuah sistem komunikasi simbolik yang terjalin erat dengan nilai-nilai luhur dan harapan mendalam bagi keluarga yang menanti kehadiran sang buah hati. Mambosuri, sebuah tradisi tujuh bulanan kehamilan dalam budaya Batak Toba, lebih dari sekadar ritual menyambut anak pertama. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa tradisi ini merupakan sistem komunikasi simbolik yang kaya akan harapan dan nilai-nilai luhur. Melalui upa-upa dan elemen ritualnya, mambosuri merefleksikan doa mendalam untuk kesehatan ibu dan bayi, kelancaran persalinan, keberlanjutan keturunan, serta kesejahteraan keluarga. Evolusi dari "mangirdak" menjadi "mambosuri" menunjukkan adaptasi tradisi terhadap zaman tanpa kehilangan esensi dukungan kekeluargaan dan harapan yang disampaikan melalui simbol-simbol. Mambosuri menjadi representasi visual dan ritual dari nilai-nilai inti masyarakat Batak Toba, mempererat ikatan sosial, dan memberikan landasan spiritual bagi generasi penerus. Di dalamnya terkandung nilai-nilai pendidikan seperti pentingnya kekeluargaan, solidaritas, optimisme, perhatian terhadap kesehatan, pelestarian budaya, kemampuan beradaptasi, dan pemahaman komunikasi simbolik. Setiap ikon, indeks, dan simbol dalam mambosuri menyampaikan doa dan ekspektasi akan kesehatan, rezeki, kesuburan, pertumbuhan, perlindungan spiritual, kebahagiaan, dan keberkahan.
