Abstract

Injuries caused by stuck arrows are rare but potentially life-threatening, especially when they hit vital organs. This study aims to evaluate the abdominal radiographic examination procedure in cases of corpus alienum, where there is a foreign object (arrow) stuck in the patient. The study was conducted at the Radiology Installation of H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan, using conventional X-ray modalities and image processing with Computed Radiography (CR). The study emphasized the importance of using appropriate projections, such as Antero-Posterior (AP) erect, Antero-Posterior (AP) supine, and lateral projections to ensure accurate diagnosis. The results show that these projections provide optimal images in determining the location and condition of the corpus alienum, which is crucial for further medical treatment. This study makes a practical contribution as a reference in performing abdominal radiography procedures in similar cases and enriches the literature related to radiographic examination in corpus alienum cases.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning activity by implementing a game-based learning model using snakes and ladders media. The background of this study is based on the low learning activity of students such as being passive during discussions, less enthusiastic about answering teacher questions, and being reluctant to participate in learning activities as well as learning activities that have not been able to encourage active involvement both individually and in groups. This study was conducted in class III of SD N 066055 Medan using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was implemented in two cycles. The increase in learning activity can be seen from the results of the questionnaire in the pre-cycle to cycle II. In the pre-cycle, the number of students in the Active and Very Active categories was only 6 people (31.6%). In cycle I it increased to 10 people (52.6%), and in cycle II it increased again to 15 people (78.9%). This shows that the implementation of Game Based Learning through snakes and ladders media has proven to have a positive effect and helps improve student learning activity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Utilization of Pentalearner Media to Improve Understanding of the Concept of Pancasila Values in Pancasila Education Learning at Sd N 066055 Medan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Based on the results of classroom action research that has been carried out in two cycles in class III SDN 066055 Medan City, it can be concluded that the use of Pentalearner media is significantly able to improve the understanding of the concept of Pancasila values in students. The application of this media in the learning process of Pancasila Education is carried out through a contextual and interactive approach, namely with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, which is adjusted to the characteristics and learning needs of phase B students. Pentalearner media designed in the form of five learning sides is proven to be effective in encouraging active student involvement in learning activities. Students not only memorize the precepts of Pancasila, but are able to explain the meaning of each precept, identify behaviors that are in accordance with the values of Pancasila, recognize the national symbol and the figures who formulated Pancasila, and apply these values in everyday life. This is reflected in the increase in student learning outcomes from pre-action to cycle I, and further increased in cycle II. The average student score increased from 60.78 in the pre-test to 80 in the post-test of cycle I, and reached 90.26 in the post-test of cycle II. Classical completeness also increased from 52.63% in the pre-test to 94.73% at the end of cycle II. In addition, the average N-Gain value of 0.77 is included in the high category, which indicates the effectiveness of using this media.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of the concept of compound subtraction through Scratch media with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in grade II students of SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis, McTaggart, and Nixon model which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 15 students, consisting of 8 boys and 7 girls. Data were collected through pretest and posttest tests to measure the ability to understand mathematical concepts, as well as documentation to support the learning process. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, students who completed the learning only reached 40% or 6 out of 15 students. After learning improvements were made in cycle II, there was a significant increase, namely as many as 13 out of 15 students (86.67%) reached the specified Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), which is ≥70. These results indicate that the use of Scratch media combined with the CRT approach is able to improve students' understanding of the concept of compound subtraction. This approach allows students to learn in a way that is more contextual, engaging, and appropriate to their cultural background.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes Using Pop-Up Book Media in Pancasila Education Subjects at Sd Negeri 066055 Medan Denai. The type of research used by the researcher is classroom action research. Classroom action research is research conducted by teachers in their own classes through self-reflection with the aim of improving their performance so that student learning outcomes increase. The location of this research is at Sd Negeri 066055 with the address Jalan Kasuari, Medan Denai. The implementation of this research was carried out on April 15, 2025 and May 5, 2025. The subjects in this study were students who were in the second grade of elementary school with a total of 15 students, consisting of 8 male students and 7 female students. The object of this research is the effort to improve learning outcomes using pop-up book media in Pancasila learning at SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai. Based on the results of the research analysis that have been described in chapter IV, the results of the initial value of students before the application of pop-up book media were 65.6 in cycle I. Furthermore, the value of student learning outcomes after the application of pop-up book media was 81.8 in cycle II. Which means that in this study there has been an increase in learning outcomes using pop-up book media with the results of the initial value of 65.6 to 81.8. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by using pop-up book media in Pancasila learning at SD Negeri 066055 Medan Denai.

Abstract

Legal politics plays a pivotal role in shaping the direction and substance of education policy in Indonesia. This study aims to examine how legal politics influences the development of the national education system and its implications for the principle of educational justice. Employing a qualitative method through literature reviews, the research analysis of legal documents, academic works, policy reports, and statistical data. The findings indicate that, although education policies normatively guarantee the right to education, their implementation continues to reflect disparities in access and quality across regions and social groups. The lack of participatory lawmaking and the absence of evidence-based policy evaluation hinder the realization of substantive justice. Therefore, reform in legal politics is urgently needed—one that is inclusive, socially just, and focused on empowering marginalized communities. This study advocates for long-term legal strategies that transform education into a genuine instrument of social equity and national development.

Abstract

Pada lembaga perguruan tinggi, dosen memiliki kewajiban untuk melakukan tridharma yakni pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, tetapi permasalah yang ada bahwa dosen tetap masih rendah melaksanakan tridharma. Data LPPM tahun 2018-2022 menunjukan bahwa penelitian individu sebanyak tiga, penelitian kelompok sebanyak tujuh, dan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat sebanyak enam. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan manajerial dan internaslisasi dasa raja-dhamma terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi di sekolah tinggi agama buddha nalanda Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berdasarkan pengambilan sampel yang proporsional sebanyak 44 dosen tetap. Teknik pengambilan data dengan kuesioner dan diolah dengan regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi sebesar nilai t hitung sebesar 4.883 yakni lebih besar dari t tabel 2.01954 dan nilai sig 0,001 < dari 0,05. Internalisasi dasa raja-dhamma berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma peguruan tinggi pada sekolah tinggi agama buddha nalanda Jakarta menunjukan hasi nilai t hitung sebesar 7.081 yakni lebih besar dari t tabel 2.01954 dan nilai sig 0,001 < dari 0,05. Secara simultan kemampuan manajerial dan internalisasi dasa raja-dhamma berpengaruh terhadap mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi dengan nilai f hitung 25.311 > t tabel 4.883, nilai sig 0,001 < 0,05. Semakin meningkat kemampuan manajerial dan internalisasi dasa raja-dhamma maka semakin meningkat mutu pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 55,3%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of gamification of learning in improving the cognitive abilities of students on the material of the Law of Reality of Buddhist Religious Education Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Ampel for 10 weeks with a class action research model (PTK). The use of gamification of learning can improve students' cognitive abilities in Buddhist Education subjects. The learning model used in this study is learning gamification using the genially application. The results showed an increase in students' cognitive abilities after the implementation of learning gamification. Thus, the use of learning gamification can be an effective alternative in improving students' cognitive abilities and interest in learning in Buddhist Education subjects. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengthening of Buddhist Pancasila values in the context of Buddhist Religious Education at Atisa Dipamkara Tangerang Elementary School. This qualitative research employed a comprehensive approach, including interviews, observations, and document analysis for data collection, utilizing instruments such as interview guides, observation protocols, and documentation checklists. Data were meticulously analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña's interactive model, which involves data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion/verification to address the research questions. The findings indicate that teachers internalize Buddhist Pancasila values through various methods, including teaching, reminding, reinforcing, habituating, emphasizing, modelling, and applying these values. These values encompassing compassion, love, helping others, non-violence, honesty, responsibility, gratitude, respect for self and others, admitting mistakes, refraining from defamation, maintaining focus, appropriate interactions with the opposite sex, and moderation in eating and drinking. The internalization of these values significantly influences students' character development, particularly in areas such as discipline, compassion, and respect for others, instilling confidence in the validity of the research findings. This research provides robust evidence of the impact of implementing Buddhist Pancasila values on students' character development, with practical implications for educators, researchers, and policymakers in the field of religious education and character development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of geometry concepts contained in traditional games in Karanganyar Regency such as: engklek, kites, and marbles. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that in traditional games in Karanganyar district there is the concept of geometry. The geometry concepts contained are flat shapes (square, rectangle, triangle, kite, semicircle and circle), space shapes (tube and ball), geometry transformation (reflection), and congruence. The concept of geometry is illustrated in the game arena and game tools.
