Abstract

Indonesians are aware of the value of saving money and placing financial security first. It is envisaged that through fostering a favorable investment environment, the majority of investors will be interested in using the convenience provided to invest their wealth. Investment is the act of putting money into assets by either individuals or businesses with the goal of earning significant returns in the future. When using the capital market as a venue to invest for specific financial goals, the role of investor behavior is crucial. Investment is the act of investing a sum of money into one or more assets over a specific time period with the hope of making a profit or seeing the value of the investment rise. Investors engage in investment activities in order to generate income or increase their rate of return on investment in the future. Decisions about investments are influenced by both rational and emotional factors. According to the prospect hypothesis, people do not always make rational judgments when faced with risk and uncertainty; instead, they can be swayed by psychological variables and irrational conduct. These psychological elements have an impact on investment and have an impact on the outcomes. By employing satisfaction as a mediating variable, this study examined the impact of investment literacy on young investors' decisions to purchase shares. Young investors who invest in a variety of securities firms in the city of Surabaya make up the respondents to this study. The findings of this study show that financial literacy has a direct impact on investors' investment contentment and decision-making and that investment satisfaction can mediate the relationship between investors' investment literacy and decision-making

Abstract

Researchers have used a systematic literature review to map the existing research, find existing knowledge of any field, and its gaps, and finally suggest possible future research. However, few studies assessing the nature and quality of systematic review papers published in the ethics and learning literature have been conducted. In this study, we use a list of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) to systematically review the systematic review article on ethics in learning. We used data from crossref and google scholars indexed journals in the last decade from 2013 to 2022. We employed the terms “ethics, learning, and review” to obtain the ethics in learning review articles. The results of this study will provide researchers on how the review literature procedures have been conducted. This study not only will enhance our understanding of the procedures followed by scholars in doing systematic reviews, but also illustrate some limitations in the design, method, and implementation of current systematic reviews.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out how the response of an individual when there is fraud in their environment. The research method used is a literature review; a search will be carried out regarding what responses are carried out when fraud occurs and if there is any intention to disclose the fraud (whistleblowing intentions). Then, find out what factors influence Whistleblowing Intentions. Using the Google Scholars search engine, the keywords used are “professional commitment on fraud”, “whistleblowing intention”, and “machiavellian”. Based on these keywords, this study will be reviewed about five articles. The research results show that an individual aware of fraud will not quickly or voluntarily disclose the fraud. Several factors influence individuals to voluntarily disclose fraud, one of which is the existence of a high professional commitment to their work. In addition, other factors exist in humans, known as Machiavellian traits. Individuals who have Machiavellian traits will instinctively prioritize their interests so that if the disclosure of fraud provides benefits for them, they will not hesitate to disclose it and vice versa. In further research, it may be possible to find out what other factors can influence a person not to hesitate to disclose fraud (whistleblowing) in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Globalization requires people to be more creative in seeing opportunities and making the most of them by paying attention to sustainability factors. The era of globalization which is full of demands like today, also requires people to continue to be able to meet complex needs, not only household needs but also needs related to food, clothing, transportation, and so on. One solution to this problem is to create jobs independently, not just being a job seeker. Job creation can be in various forms, one of which is through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). UMKM is expected to be able to become the pillar of the national economy with an insight into independence and has great potential to improve people's welfare. CV. Sinar Surya Mustika is a UMKM that was established in 2020 in Surabaya and is engaged in the convection and computer embroidery industry. Through observations and interviews with Mr. Moch. Taqiyuddin Abror is the owner of UMKM computer convection and embroidery industry by CV. Sinar Surya Mustika, his convection and embroidery industry always prioritizes the best services and solutions for consumer needs, provides quality and innovative results, and implements strict quality control at every stage. However, in the marketing aspect, CV. Sinar Mustika has limitations, especially in digital marketing. This is due to the lack of human resources who master digital marketing. The company profile book design training is expected to increase digitally literate human resources so that the market reach becomes wider, easier, and more effective. Abstract

We use computers to help solve various problems in our daily life. From a simple sensor circuit to a very complex supercomputer, a computer can be found. As the name suggests, computers compute something and produce a value that then can be taken advantage of. The problem is that computers do not simply understand human language. Our world works with the “continuous” concept, as opposed to the “digital” concept that computers use. Digital system uses some discrete and exact value. Computers use two discrete and exact value, which is 0 and 1. This is more commonly known as a binary system. This system, combined with mathematical logic, is the very core of every computer. Thus, it is needed to convert our problems into a binary system that computers can understand. An example of this is sensors that can be found in various systems like automatic train passing or automatic hand dryers. Most sensors only work between two states, that is ON and OFF, LOW and HIGH, or detecting and not detecting. In this paper, we are going to create a system that manages an automatic train crossing. The system should be able to correctly open or close the train gate based on the presence of a train. It means the train gate should only be closed when a train is passing, and not something else. Some sensors are already installed that can detect if a train is in front of them or not. This system uses the concept of combinational logic as the concept of sequential logic alone would not be able to store the state of a train crossing. Thus, memory elements like flip-flops are also required in this system.

Abstract

The Ampel Tourism Area is one of the leading tourist destinations for the Government and the City of Surabaya. As a religious and historical destination, the Ampel Tourism Area has characteristics and uniqueness that have become an attraction and a challenge in the development and management of both government and community officials. This uniqueness is characterized by the diversity of policy makers' backgrounds and geographical challenges as a cultural heritage with small alleys and narrow alleys as characteristic of tourism object backgrounds. For this reason, in developing tourism areas, it is necessary to develop and make integrated public policies to encourage the development of tourism objects that are beneficial for the progress of the community. The purpose of this community service is to encourage integration in tourism management in the Ampel Tourism Area through the assistance of integrated public service governance with collaborative governance strategies in the tourism sector and the provision of tourism-supporting facilities in the form of road signs. Collaborative Governance encourages policy stakeholders to reach a consensus on tourism decision-making facilitated by non-governmental actors in a formal, consensus-oriented, and consultative collective policy-making process to make or implement public policies and manage programs or assets. Public. This policy will be implemented by providing and installing road signs around the Ampel Area. The provision and installation of road signs are considered essential to overcome the problems of historical and religious tourism objects with unique characteristics while simultaneously encouraging the integration of Ampel areas with interactions between tourists, local communities, small business actors, and policymakers.
