Abstract

The use of regional languages in learning is part of the independent curriculum. This research aims to analyze the intensity, advantages and weaknesses of the use of regional languages in learning at the Dharma Wanita Labuhan Haji Barat Kindergarten. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely 31 children and 2 teachers with the aim of classes using regional languages. Data was collected through direct observation and structured interviews with teachers at the kindergarten. The results of the research show that the intensity of using regional languages in learning is often used in class B. The advantage of using regional languages in learning is that children easily understand the material. The weakness of using regional languages in learning is that a small number of children who cannot use regional languages are unable to understand the material presented by the teacher. This means that regional languages are effectively used in learning because the majority of children understand regional languages as an introductory language in learning. So, it can be understood that the use of regional languages has a positive impact on children's understanding and involvement in learning, as well as strengthening their cultural identity

The pottery craft project-based learning method is suitable for the learning process in early childhood because it is interesting. This research aims to see how much influence this learning method has on the creativity of young children. This research uses quantitative research methods, with a one group pretest-posttest design, data analysis techniques using the Wilcoxon sign rank test. The results of this test show that each subject experienced an increase in aspects of their creativity, for example, children began to be able to produce an idea, children were able to create or combine unique and interesting works in front of other people, children were able to create or produce their own work without copying the theme, and without Of course, children are able to develop new works, and children are also able to improve the details of their own work, apart from that, children also feel happy and not bored because learning using this pottery craft project-based method is very interesting and suitable for application in children's learning.

Abstract

Lack of coordination of a person's movements is caused by the lack of optimal kinesthetic intelligence provided from an early age. This research is aimed at stimulating and developing children's kinesthetic intelligence. The type of research used is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental research method and a Posttest Only Control Design design with the samples used, namely children in classes B1 and B2 consisting of experimental classes and control classes using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The analysis technique for this research uses the SPPS version 26 for Windows program. Prerequisite test analysis was carried out to calculate normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, calculating homogeneity using the statistical Lavene test on both samples (Classes B1 and B2) and hypothesis testing analysis using the t test with the Independent sample T-test formula. Based on the results of calculations with the help of the SPPS program using a significance level of 5%, the hypothesis calculation results were obtained with a confidence level of 95%, tcount was 20.259, greater than ttable, namely 2.036 (20.259 > 2.036) with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 where smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there is an influence of playing gymnastics on children's kinesthetic intelligence at Harniatun Arrazzaq Kindergarten in Bandar Lampung.

In order to address this issue, early childhood educators must employ engaging and innovative media to teach young children—those between the ages of five and six—about sexuality. Thus, preschool teachers in schools can benefit from the use of sex education puppet media while educating their kids about sex. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of using puppetry to introduce young children (ages 5–6) to early sex education. Children between the ages of five and six participated in the research at Kindergarten Amalia Jember. Research and Development (R&D) is the research methodology employed. Techniques for gathering data include observation and questionnaires. Data analysis with product creation and testing the viability of the product. Based on the material expert's evaluation of every facet, the feasibility test has a total score of 21.00, with an average score of 3.00 in the adequate category. The overall score for the aspects evaluated was 41.00, with an average of 2.70 in the sufficient category, depending on how well-suited media experts are. Based on the sample test results, this indicates that the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.08 > 0.05, it is determined that the development of puppet media for sex education has been effectively established for kids between the ages of 5 and 6.

Data collection was conducted through questionnaires filled out by classroom teachers. The results indicate a significant correlation between gender and children's engagement. The Pearson correlation test showed a coefficient value of 0.877, indicating a strong positive relationship between the gender variable and engagement. Further Paired Sample Test analysis revealed significant differences in children's engagement based on gender, with girls showing higher levels of engagement compared to boys. The determination coefficient test demonstrated that gender strongly contributes to children's engagement in kindergarten, with a coefficient value of 0.77 for the overall relationship, 0.788 for boys, and 0.53 for girls. These findings highlight the importance of considering gender differences when designing inclusive and effective learning strategies in early childhood education environments.
