Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic period learning in the schools become online, but at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Dukun learning is carried out online and face to face. The purpose of the study was to describe process and student learning outcomes after learning using the flipped classroom learning method with a scientific approach assisted by the whatsApp application in learning mathematics. This research was a quantitative study using a One Shot Case Study. The research was conducted in grade 10th of SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Dukun. The data collection methods used were observation, test, and questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed student activity in learning an average of 81.48% including active and moderately active categories. The implementation of learning by teachers with an average of 4.37 was in the good category. Student learning outcomes showed 81.48% of students declared complete KKM. Student responses to the process of implementing learning an average of 72% with positive category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the implementation of the principal's leadership during online learning at ABA Kindergarten Sukoharjo, Sleman. This research is a type of qualitative research using a participatory approach. With the descriptive analysis method, the author begins by collecting data systematically and consistently, then analyzed, selected then combined so that conclusions can be drawn using deductive analysis. The results of this study found that the implementation of the principal's instructional leadership during online learning had been carried out well but needed to be optimized in the form of several activities; starting from understanding goals and policies, routinely conducting monitoring and evaluation providing solutions to every problem, so that online learning will be more effective, maximum education services for all students and on the other hand still trying to maintain the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

The production of e-modules utilizing Flip PDF Professional on Fungi material is inspired by the use of subpar technology and the usage of printed media in learning (powerpoint). Students struggle to comprehend the information. As a result, the goal of this research is to create an e-module using Flip PDF Professional. The ADDIE development model phases are used in this study to apply the R&D (Research and Development) development approach. Material expert validators deemed the outcomes of e-module product validation utilizing Flip PDF Professional "very viable" with a percentage of 90% and media expert validators with a percentage of 95%. Teachers and students rated the test response of the e-module product generated using Flip PDF Professional as "very good," with 93 percent of teachers responding and 94.4 percent of students responding. This might be construed to mean that the developed e-module media is quite capable of being used as an alternate learning medium in the classroom. Furthermore, electronic learning media has a lot of room for improvement and can assist the population in getting a better education. As a result, establishing a feasible standard for the development and management of electronic learning material, as well as supporting infrastructure, is critical.

Abstract

Teacher performance can be measured through its role in the world of education which is undergoing continuous change and is influenced by emotional intelligence and the principal's leadership style. The aim of of this reseacrh are: 1) the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance; 2) the influence of teacher emotional intelligence on teacher performance; and 3) the influence of the principal's leadership style and the teacher's emotional intelligence together on teacher performance. This study applies a quantitative procedure using a causal associative approach. The researcher determined 98 private junior high school teachers in Cikedung sub-district, Indramayu district as the research population, as well as the sample in the study. Based on theoretical assumptions and conclusions of data analysis, it can be concluded that both the principal's leadership style (X1) and the teacher's emotional intelligence (X2) have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y). There is a positive and significant effect of principal's leadership style and teacher's emotional intelligence on teacher performance. The magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership style and teacher's emotional intelligence on teacher performance is based on the results of calculations in the very strong category.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this research is to develop an e-learning module for 3D Home Designing and assess the value of the instructional materials to the student's user. The pandemic forces our educational system to change to remote instruction, and the construction of the electronic module is crucial because there are no existing materials that focus primarily on 3D home design. Fifty (50) students enrolled in CAD courses tested the E-learning program. The mean and standard deviation were calculated using descriptive quantitative statistics in this investigation. The content of the e-learning program was evaluated using a survey questionnaire. In addition, the questionnaire requested input on the e-module. Following that, adjustments were made. The E-module is a helpful instrument in teaching 3D Homes Designing that encourages self-directed learning and direct application of knowledge.

Abstract

Changes that occur in the learning process due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions regarding the adaptation of online learning. This study uses a survey method with variables of gender, age and class. The research subjects were all students of social studies class at SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari. Data was collected using a questionnaire with the help of google form. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and comparative statistics. The results showed that there were differences in student attitudes towards online-based learning during the COVID-19 pandemic from various variables. Female students aged 16 years and class X have a better perception of online-based learning. The implication is that online-based learning needs to pay attention to differences in gender, age and class variables in its implementation.

Abstract

There are differences in learning management carried out by teachers when the pandemic conditions hit. During the pandemic, madrasa teachers carry out online-based learning management. Therefore, this evaluation study aims to evaluate teacher learning management. The research subjects were teachers of the Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Madrasah Mu'allimin, totaling 35 people. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires (Likert scale 1 – 4) and interviews. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research on learning management at Madrasah Mu'allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, it can be concluded that the components of learning management (1) Planning get a percentage with a very good category of 83% (2) Organizations get a percentage of 88% with a very good category (3) Motivation gets a percentage 88% with very good category and (4) Evaluation gets a percentage of 84%. Overall of the applied Management functions.

Abstract

This study aims to test and determine the effect of the relationship between variables. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires, then processed by editing, tabulating, sorting, and interpreting. Liker scale and instrument validity and reliability tests were carried out for data measurement, to achieve the purpose of testing hypotheses, processed for analysis using multiple linear regression in order to determine the magnitude of the relationship and influence between variables. Statistical analysis of multiple linear regression on a sample of 30 people (teachers) was tested using the simultaneous test model (F test) and partial test (t test). The results of the study found that knowledge sharing, civic behavior in the organization and organizational culture simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the performance of SMAS Kurnia Puday teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the management of the Teacher Working Group (KKG in Bahasa). It is important because through the KKG, teachers will gain teaching readiness, and the professional abilities of teachers and the quality of their performance. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies with informants consisting of school supervisors, principals, teachers, and the head of the KKG. The results showed that: the management of KKG in Cluster 3, Manonjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency was optimal. Meanwhile, the professionalism of teachers is also increased.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the change of the learning system from face-to-face (offline system) to online system caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of teaching English using WhatsApp during the COVID-19 pandemic, both for teaching receptive skills and productive skills using WhatsApp. This research used a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study was all 7th-grade students at SMPN 2 Tanjung Raya. The sample in this study was all 7th-grade students of SMPN 2 Tanjung Raya as many as 50 students. The data collection technique used total sampling. The data were collected using the questionnaire. This study found that in general, on teaching English receptive skills and productive skills through distance were categorized as effective with a percentage of 79.9%. It means, for receptive skills in listening with an average of 80.6% and reading with an average of 82.4%. And teaching English productive skills with an average of 80.1% speaking and 76.6% writing. It is concluded that the use of the WhatsApp application as an English learning medium by English teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic was effective in teaching four English skills.
