Abstract

Family dispute resolution is an essential component of the legal system that reflects the social, cultural, and legal values of a country. This study aims to analyze the comparison of family dispute resolution systems across different countries using a comparative law approach. The method employed is normative legal research with a comparative analysis of several legal systems, namely civil law, common law, and Islamic law. The results indicate that there are significant differences in the mechanisms for resolving family disputes, both through litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation. Countries adopting the common law system tend to emphasize flexibility and mediation, whereas civil law systems rely more on structured formal judicial processes. Meanwhile, the Islamic legal system highlights deliberation and reconciliation as primary approaches. This research is expected to provide a global perspective for the development of family dispute resolution systems in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of identity search in the Indonesian animated film Jumbo through the lens of Roland Barthes' semiotics. The research focuses on interpreting visual and narrative signs that reflect the dynamics of urban youth life in Jakarta. A qualitative descriptive-interpretative method with a single case study design was employed. Data were collected through repeated observations of the film and literature reviews, then analyzed using Barthes' three-layer semiotic framework: denotation, connotation, and myth. The findings reveal that the search for identity is represented in layered meanings. At the denotative level, signs such as the protagonist's giant body, Jakarta's traffic congestion, and bullying scenes depict physical isolation and social pressure. At the connotative level, these signs symbolize emotional alienation and identity crises caused by urban pressures. At the mythological level, the film naturalizes identity crises as an inevitable consequence of metropolitan life while reproducing the ideology of conformity as a solution to social pressure. This research contributes to the development of visual semiotics studies and communication within the context of local Indonesian animation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamic relationship between the global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) index and the Indonesian stock market , using data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange . ESG is an investment practice that considers environmental, social, and corporate governance impacts in investment decision-making. Thus, ESG is not only a priority for investors but also a crucial factor for companies seeking to attract new investors while maintaining the satisfaction of existing shareholders. In line with this objective, this study evaluates the effect of Corporate Integrated Reporting (CIR) on Core Value Company (CVC) disclosure in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study sample includes 85 companies with available ESG scores for the period 2020 to 2025, along with annual report data for comparative analysis. Multiple regression methods are applied to assess the effect of ESG productivity policies on CVC within the context of integrated reporting. The results of the study show that CIR has a positive influence on CVC. In addition, ESG productivity policies are significantly associated with increased CIR benefits, although they do not have a direct impact on CVC. The results of this analysis emphasize the importance of implementing CIR and strengthening ESG productivity in enhancing a company's core value, as reflected in improved stock market performance. This research also indicates that advocacy for CIR and ESG disclosure can improve market efficiency, transparency, and corporate accountability

Abstract

In the study of Islamic exegesis, the issue of gender equality—particularly regarding women's economic rights—often receives insufficient attention. Most traditional interpretations tend to uphold patriarchal views that limit women's roles in the economic sphere. Using a library research method, this study finds that Quraish Shihab's approach differs from traditional interpretations, which tend to be literal and ignore the socio-cultural context of the time. Through his moderate and contextual approach, Quraish Shihab allows for a reinterpretation of Qur'anic verses so they remain relevant to contemporary developments. This enables the application of just and inclusive Islamic values across various aspects of life, including in the economic domain. His interpretation does not advocate for absolute equality but rather aligns rights and responsibilities according to individual capacities, making it more relevant to modern social dynamics. The findings show that Islam provides space for women to participate in economic activities, own property, work, and manage assets independently, while upholding the principle of justice rather than absolute equality. Therefore, women's economic rights must be recognized and protected in accordance with their capacities and responsibilities.

Abstract

This study examines the legal construction of jimak and the potential of nusyus (husband's negligence in fulfilling wife's rights) from the perspective of maqasid al-syari’ah and gender justice. Islamic law emphasizes the husband’s obligation to fulfill sexual, emotional, and financial rights of the wife, but its practice is often influenced by cultural norms, limited legal interpretations, and moral awareness. This study employs a library research method to analyze fiqh literature, legal documents, and case studies. The findings indicate that maqasid-based reinterpretation of jimak law can balance husband and wife rights, reduce nusyus potential, and promote gender justice in the household.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the widespread use of taboo language in digital communication, particularly in animated media. It aims to describe the forms of taboo language, analyze their functions, and examine their contextual meanings and the underlying social factors in the dialogues of the Tekotok animation, specifically in the episodes Numpang Kosan, Nasibnya Sentot, and Cerita Anak Pertama. This research employs a sociolinguistic approach using a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected from the dialogues in Tekotok animated videos through observation and note-taking techniques, and then analyzed through the stages of reduction, classification, and interpretation. The findings reveal that taboo language in Tekotok animation appears in various forms, such as swearing, insults, vulgar terms, and figurative expressions. Taboo language is no longer used merely in its lexical sense, but functions as a means of expressing emotions, satire, insults, and social criticism. In addition, a shift in meaning is identified, where words that were not originally considered taboo can become taboo due to word combinations and the context of their use. This indicates that taboo language is dynamic, contextual, and serves communicative functions in shaping characters and conveying social messages in digital media.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a popular vegetable among Indonesian communities due to its rich content of vitamins and nutrients. During its growth stage, pakcoy requires essential nutrients to stimulate its growth, hence the use of organic fertilizer such as vermicompost as a nutrient source. This research aimed to investigate the effect of vermicompost dosage on the growth and yield of pakcoy. The study at PT. Bali Organik Internasional. There were four treatments applied: K0 (0 g/plant), K1 (150 g/plant), K2 (200 g/plant), and K3 (250 g/plant). The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications, resulting in 16 experimental units. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan's at a significance level of 5%. The results indicated that the application of vermicompost dosage significantly influenced the growth and yield of pakcoy. Application of vermicompost at K3 dosage (250 g/plant) resulted in the best performance across all parameters (plant height, leaf number, fresh weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and root length) for pakcoy.

Abstract

This study examines bureaucratic integrity in relation to regional head corruption, using the case of Fadia Arafiq in Pekalongan Regency as an empirical illustration. The research aims to analyze the concept of bureaucratic integrity from a public administration perspective and to explain how corruption reflects weaknesses in bureaucratic systems. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature review combined with a case study analysis. Data were collected from scientific journals, official reports, and relevant documents published between 2021 and 2026, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that corruption is not solely driven by individual factors but is strongly influenced by systemic weaknesses, such as lack of accountability, weak supervision, and excessive concentration of power. The case demonstrates how monopoly and discretion without proper control create opportunities for abuse of authority. Furthermore, low bureaucratic integrity contributes to declining public trust and poor public service quality. Strengthening transparency, accountability, and ethical values within bureaucratic systems is therefore essential to prevent corruption and improve governance.
