Abstract

This study examines the legal construction of jimak and the potential of nusyus (husband's negligence in fulfilling wife's rights) from the perspective of maqasid al-syari’ah and gender justice. Islamic law emphasizes the husband’s obligation to fulfill sexual, emotional, and financial rights of the wife, but its practice is often influenced by cultural norms, limited legal interpretations, and moral awareness. This study employs a library research method to analyze fiqh literature, legal documents, and case studies. The findings indicate that maqasid-based reinterpretation of jimak law can balance husband and wife rights, reduce nusyus potential, and promote gender justice in the household.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the widespread use of taboo language in digital communication, particularly in animated media. It aims to describe the forms of taboo language, analyze their functions, and examine their contextual meanings and the underlying social factors in the dialogues of the Tekotok animation, specifically in the episodes Numpang Kosan, Nasibnya Sentot, and Cerita Anak Pertama. This research employs a sociolinguistic approach using a descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected from the dialogues in Tekotok animated videos through observation and note-taking techniques, and then analyzed through the stages of reduction, classification, and interpretation. The findings reveal that taboo language in Tekotok animation appears in various forms, such as swearing, insults, vulgar terms, and figurative expressions. Taboo language is no longer used merely in its lexical sense, but functions as a means of expressing emotions, satire, insults, and social criticism. In addition, a shift in meaning is identified, where words that were not originally considered taboo can become taboo due to word combinations and the context of their use. This indicates that taboo language is dynamic, contextual, and serves communicative functions in shaping characters and conveying social messages in digital media.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is a popular vegetable among Indonesian communities due to its rich content of vitamins and nutrients. During its growth stage, pakcoy requires essential nutrients to stimulate its growth, hence the use of organic fertilizer such as vermicompost as a nutrient source. This research aimed to investigate the effect of vermicompost dosage on the growth and yield of pakcoy. The study at PT. Bali Organik Internasional. There were four treatments applied: K0 (0 g/plant), K1 (150 g/plant), K2 (200 g/plant), and K3 (250 g/plant). The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications, resulting in 16 experimental units. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan's at a significance level of 5%. The results indicated that the application of vermicompost dosage significantly influenced the growth and yield of pakcoy. Application of vermicompost at K3 dosage (250 g/plant) resulted in the best performance across all parameters (plant height, leaf number, fresh weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and root length) for pakcoy.

The purpose of this study was to determine the flow of the bulog rice food assistance administration process at the Cirebon city post office. The method of data collection in the preparation of the Final Project is the method of observation, interviews, and literature study with the analysis method in the form of qualitative analysis, namely the method of analyzing data. The results of the study explain that the food aid administration process is from the national food agency sending recipient data such as a summons to the Indonesian post until the recipient receives the rice. The documents used in this rice food assistance administration procedure are the summons and the recipient's original KTP. Obstacles in food aid administration procedures that often occur are obstacles from the recipient community and from the post office itself. Based on these constraints, the Company's suggestion is to conduct periodic evaluations of the rice food assistance administration procedures to identifyshortcomings and make necessary improvements.

Abstract

This study examines bureaucratic integrity in relation to regional head corruption, using the case of Fadia Arafiq in Pekalongan Regency as an empirical illustration. The research aims to analyze the concept of bureaucratic integrity from a public administration perspective and to explain how corruption reflects weaknesses in bureaucratic systems. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature review combined with a case study analysis. Data were collected from scientific journals, official reports, and relevant documents published between 2021 and 2026, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that corruption is not solely driven by individual factors but is strongly influenced by systemic weaknesses, such as lack of accountability, weak supervision, and excessive concentration of power. The case demonstrates how monopoly and discretion without proper control create opportunities for abuse of authority. Furthermore, low bureaucratic integrity contributes to declining public trust and poor public service quality. Strengthening transparency, accountability, and ethical values within bureaucratic systems is therefore essential to prevent corruption and improve governance.

Abstract

Problems arise when students who are looking for jobs consider the job search process difficult and related to negative emotions (Wanberg, 2010). Negative emotions can take many forms, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety disorders refer to emotional states marked by physical symptoms, unpleasant feelings of tension, and generally occurring bad things (Nevid, 2005). Anxiety in facing the world of work can reduce work performance or even become worse. Anxiety can cause fear of public speaking, fear of interacting with important figures in a company, fear of taking on new challenges, and fear that makes a person appear restless and anxious (Jones, 2020). Greenberger and Padesky (2016) state that there are four aspects of anxiety in facing the challenges of the world of work, namely thoughts, behavior, physical reactions, and mood. Anxiety can emerge because individuals are not confident in their competencies; this becomes one factor causing fear and worry among final-semester students regarding the possibility of obtaining a job, which creates a lack of self-confidence (Sari & Astuti, 2014). Students should have high self-confidence in responding to all matters, including anxiety in facing the world of work. Perry (2005) reveals that self-confidence enables a person to overcome new challenges, believe in oneself in difficult situations, pass limiting barriers, complete things they have never done before, and fully express their talents and abilities. In addition to self-confidence, Nevid, Rathus, and Greene (2005) state that one factor causing anxiety in facing the challenges of the world of work is lack of social support. Individuals with insufficient social support will feel that they are not cared for, not appreciated, and do not have someone who can help them find work. Therefore, this study tests the hypothesis that there is a relationship between self-confidence and social support with anxiety in facing the world of work. This study aims to examine the relationship among variables, namely students' self-confidence and grit with anxiety in facing the world of work. This research is expected to provide an overview of students' conditions before entering the world of work. The research method used is quantitative research with final-year students as subjects. Subject selection in this study uses purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations based on predetermined criteria in the study (Sugiyono, 2016). The targeted output of this research is the writing of an article submitted to a journal so that its benefits can be felt by the community.

Abstract

In the digital era, communication technology has brought about significant changes in the dissemination of information through the phenomenon of virality on social media. TikTok has become one of the main platforms used by the public to quickly access information, including news content about cases in educational institutions. One case that attracted public attention was a post by the TikTok account @bangsaonline regarding a smoking ban for students that resulted in physical action by the Principal of SMAN 1 Cimarga. The researcher chose this content because it sparked widespread debate and created a domino effect that could potentially influence public perception of the image of education. The purpose of this study was to determine how the audience reception analysis of the smoking ban case for students of SMAN 1 Cimarga in the TikTok news content @bangsaonline. This study used a qualitative method with a netnography approach and Stuart Hall's reception analysis theory. The results showed that informants interpreted the message differently based on their backgrounds and personal experiences. No informants were found in the opposition position, but the majority were in the negotiation position (8 people) and the dominant hegemonic position (2 people). This indicates that although the audience accepted the smoking ban message, they remained critical and negotiated the disciplinary method implemented by the Principal.

Abstract

Population administration services are a fundamental form of public service, the quality of which is significantly influenced by the implementation of governance and service ethics among civil servants. This study aims to analyze the influence of governance and service ethics on public satisfaction with population administration services (ID cards) at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kebumen Regency. This study employs an associative quantitative approach, focusing on a population of 2,376 residents from Wonoyoso Village, Kewarasan Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency, who have previously processed their ID cards. A sample of 96 respondents was selected using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error and a purposive sampling technique. The data collection instrument consisted of a closed-ended questionnaire using a five- point Likert scale, which had been tested for validity and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.920). Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that governance significantly influences community satisfaction. Simultaneously, the two variables explain 49.5% of the variation in public satisfaction (R² = 0.495). The Spearman correlation test confirmed a strong positive relationship between governance and public satisfaction (r = 0.618), as well as between service ethics and public satisfaction (r = 0.669), with service ethics being the more dominant variable (β = 0.449). These findings imply that strengthening governance based on the principles of good governance and improving the service ethics of civil servants in a synergistic manner are important determinants that need to be prioritized by the Kebumen District Population and Civil Registration Office in its efforts to continuously improve public satisfaction with population administration services.

Abstract

This study analyzes Christian Fuchs' approach to community ethics in the context of the development of digital space in the city of Ternate. In the midst of a pluralistic society firmly rooted in communal values, this approach offers an ethical foundation for building a digital space that is not only technical, but also socially and ethically meaningful as well as ethically and ethically communicated. Case studies such as content creators who fill social media in the city of Ternate. Social media users showed how communication practices in the digital space in the community need to be balanced with ethics that uphold the value of local wisdom in Ternate City so that there is no division and can strengthen solidarity and collective responsibility in the use of digital technology. This analysis also connects Christian Fuchs' thoughts and approaches that emphasize the importance of ethical, fair and participatory communication on social media. Thus, this study emphasizes that the development of an ethical, equitable and participatory digital space requires the integration of digital communication ethics, social participation, and criticism of the global digital dominance structure, which has an impact on the quality of content that deviates from ethics as an ancestral wealth called local wisdom.
