Abstract

Keterbatasan peralatan laboratorium dan alat bantu ajar sebagai media pembelajaran fisika dan pemahaman konsep membutuhkan penerapan pembelajaran yang efektif terhadap bahan sumber energi dengan bantuan alat peraga untuk mengembangkan prototipe pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut (PLTGL) dengan sistem reduksi ganda yang dapat membantu siswa dan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan memotivasi antusiasme siswa untuk belajar dengan bantuan prototipe alat bantu mengajar sebagai media pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, menyenangkan dan berlaku. Materi sumber energi terbarukan dengan model pembelajaran dan pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimental, yang dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Kota Bima kelas XII MIPA untuk tahun akademik 2021/2022 dengan 50 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dokumentasi dan pertanyaan tentang penggunaan teknik uji statistik parametrik t-test varians yang disurvei. Hasil yang diperoleh adapun perbandingan data kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol adalah nilai rata-rata 91,46 : 67,73, varians 46,36 : 117,34 dan tingkat signifikan P (T< = t< = t) satu pihak = 1,406 x 10 - 12 : P (T< = t) dua pihak = 2,812 x 10 -12. Pemahaman siswa sangat baik setelah menggunakan alat peraga pengembangan prototipe, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar.

Abstract

Pengaruh radiasi sinar-X terhadap tingkat kerusakan DNA pada sel limfosit seorang pasien pada 3 pemeriksaan rutin radiologi diagnostik, yaitu pemeriksaan lumbosacral, pemeriksaan abdomen dan kepala. Pemeriksaan lumbosacral dilakukan secara in vivo dan in vitro, sedangkan pemeriksaan abdomen dan kepala dilakukan secara in vitro. Proses penandaan kerusakan DNA menggunakan biomarker γH2AX dan diamati menggunakan mikroskop fluoresen. Tingkat kerusakan DNA diukur melalui persentase jumlah foci γH2AX yang terbentuk pada sel limfosit. Hasil pengamatan jumlah foci γH2AX menunjukkan belum ada kerusakan berarti pada DNA sel limfosit pasien pasca pemeriksaan secara in vivo dan terdapat kerusakan DNA pada sel limfosit pasien pasca pemeriksaan secara in vitro dengan perbandingan jumlah foci γH2AX yang tidak spesifik setiap pemeriksaan. Sinar-X pada pemeriksaan rutin radiologi diagnostik secara in vitro memiliki potensi yang lebih tinggi untuk merusak DNA pasien dibandingkan dengan pemeriksaan secara in vivo, serta jumlah foci γH2AX pada sampel kultur lebih sedikit daripada sampel yang tidak dikultur.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan energi dunia terutama energi listrik sekarang ini sangatlah penting dan untuk pemanfaatannya kekuatan medan magnetik sebagai sumber energi listrik sekarang ini juga masih jarang terealisasikan yakni memanfaatkan fluks magnetik yang berasal dari sumber medan magnetik dimana masih kurang diperhatikan  atau disia-siakan. Kami merancang dan merealisasikan solenoida sebagai penyadap fluks magnetik yang tersia-siakan dari sumber medan magnetik berupa magnet yang didekatkan dinamo yang dialiri arus. Proses penyadapan ini didasari oleh proses tegangan induksi magnetik oleh solenoida. Untuk menghasilkan tegangan dari kumparan solenoida adalah dibutuhkan 90 lilitan, 140 lilitan, dan 190 lilitan dengan sumber arus 12 volt sehingga dari spesifikasi tersebut diharapkan solenoida bisa optimal menyadap induksi magnetik pada sumber medan magnet sehingga bisa menyalakan lampu LED.

Abstract

The learning process in the post-pandemic era still relies on digital technology called e-learning. This shows that the need for e-learning teaching materials is still in great demand. This research is motivated by teachers who are members of the Physics Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) in Karawang Regency, requiring training on several learning media updates, especially learning videos that are deemed appropriate as e-learning teaching materials that are digital and flexible so that they support the e-learning process. effective and efficient learning. Therefore, the Abdimas Team carried out a program that aims to improve the ability of teachers in compiling materials, recording themselves, editing videos and utilizing Filmora X software into physics learning videos. The methods used in the implementation of this program are training, discussion and mentoring. Based on the results of the questionnaire, after 3 days the participants took part in the teacher's ability and knowledge training increased by 80% and there was a positive response in making learning videos using Filmora X software.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect size of the STEM approach on students scientific literacy skills in science and physics learning. The research method used is descriptive analysis of the results of scientific publications in national e-journals. The effect of studies that apply the STEM approach to scientific literacy skills and are analyzed using meta-analysis techniques. The findings based on the effect size study on the literacy ability of sians based on science and physics learning revealed that the overall results of the study showed an Effect Size of 0,364 in the large effect category. The STEM approach also has an influence on education levels, areas and research-related variables such as scientific literacy skills, science competencies, problem-solving abilities and students' conceptual understanding. The conclusions of this study indicate that the learning approach with the STEM approach in science and physics learning is able to provide a positive result distribution on students' scientific literacy skills in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-solving-based Physics module in order to complement alternative teaching materials to improve critical thinking skills in high school students. The method used in this research is the development method. Carried out in several stages, namely analysis of the needs of theoretical method developers, validation tests, and field trials. The instruments used are in the form of a needs analysis questionnaire for students and teachers, validation test sheets by high school physics lecturers and teachers and empirical test questionnaire sheets for high school students. The development module is validated by a number of physics material experts, media experts and high school physics teachers who refer to the likert scale. The results of validation by physics material experts obtained data that the modules developed were rated very well with an average score of 83.84%. The validation results by the high school physics teacher, the module was rated very good with an average score of 86.16%. The results of the trial in students stated that the modules developed were rated very well with an average score of 89.49%. Referring to the results of preliminary studies and validation results by high school physics experts and teachers as well as student trials, this study concludes that the problem-solving-based Physics Module in high school physics learning global warming material is suitable for use as alternative teaching materials for the 2013 Curriculum to improve the ability to solve problems in class XI high school students.

Abstract

Learning physics helps students connect natural phenomena with the material taught at school. Abstract physics makes it difficult for students to understand the material, so learning media is needed to convey material effectively and the latest in the form of comic-based learning media. The research method is a review of 9 journal articles published in the last 10 years. The results obtained are that there are many journals about comic media. Comic media has visual images that make it easier to convey information to readers, has a storyline that is easy to understand, systematic and organized which makes it easier for readers to follow and memorize its contents and comics can also cheer up the mood, so they are interested in reading. Comics can make learning more fun. Based on this research, it is found that physics media can increase the competence of students.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian kali ini peneliti mencoba membandingkan hasil pengukuran medan magnet dan medan listrik pada ltiga medan yang berbeda-beda yaitu di daerah pemukiman, perkebunan dan tanahg lapang, hal ini peneliti lakukan untuk mengetahui kekuatan medan magnet dan medan listrik apakah masih dalam ambang batas aman.  Hal ini penting dilakukan dikarenakan kita tahu bahwa dalam pembangunan jaringan kelistrikan baik SUTET  (saluran udara tegangan ekstra tinggi) ataupum SUTT (saluran udara tegangan tinggi), sering sekali mendapat tentangan dari beberapa ormas seperti LSM yang menentang dan beberapa masyarakat yang tidak terima bahwa daerah pemukimannya dilalui oleh jalur SUTT maupun SUTET. Dalam pengukuran peneliti menggunaklan alat untuk mengukur medan magentik dan medan listrik yaitu Alat uji ELF Survey meter ETS-Lindgren. Dari hasil pengamatan kuat medan listrik sangat di pengaruhi oleh benda-benda di sekitarnya karena medan listrik tidak dapat menembus benda-benda isolator, medan magnet memiliki sifat dapat menembus benda-benda di sekitarnya, hal ini sesuai dan hasil pengukuran juga membuktikan bahwa kuat medan listrik dan medan magnet dari pajanan SUTT masih jauh di bawah ambang batas aman yang telah di tetapkan oleh WHO.

Abstract

A numerical simulation of the Satellites’ orbital velocity and satellites’ escape velocity has been performed. This research aimed to study Satellites’ orbital velocity and orbital escape velocity based on position function. Velocity equation has been gotten from modification equation of centripetal force and equation of earth’s gravitational force. Through the numerical calculation of orbital velocity and escape velocity equation by function discretization, we got that the orbital velocity and escape velocity of the satellite at height of 30.000 km above the earth’s surface are 3.31 km/s and 4.68 km/s, respectively.

Abstract

Demonstration and discussion methods can stimulate students to be more active in the learning process. The application of demonstration and discussion methods is expected to increase student interest and activity in learning whose purpose is to increase students' understanding of concepts. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2021/2022.  The research method used is quasi-experimental. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in understanding of concepts between the experimental class and the control class. This is strengthened by the results of the independent sample t-test analysis, namely between the experimental class and the control class obtaining a significance of 0.001 below 0.005, in other words, learning using demonstration and discussion methods affects the understanding of student concepts. Thus, it can also be concluded that the understanding of student concepts can be improved by the application of demonstration and discussion methods.
