Abstract

The aim of our research is to create an educational game on the subject of kinematics based on MATLAB program. Educational games are made using the MATLAB programming algorithm packaged in the form of Graphical User Interface (GUI). Our educational games can be used as one of the innovations of learning media to increase student interesting in physics and at the same time to provide other examples of the application of the MATLAB GUI in addition to being a calculation, analysis, and simulation tool in physics. This educational game based on MATLAB presents kinematics questions in a more attractive and enjoyable. With this educational game, students able to learn both of kinematics and MATLAB programming at the same time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Pre-Solution Posing type Problem Posing learning model on the science learning outcomes of students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Jakarta. This study uses a quasi-experimental method, the affordable population comes from class IX consisting of four classes. From the affordable population, two samples of classes were taken, of which one class as an experimental class and the other class as a control class. Class IX-A was selected as the experimental class and class IX-B as the control class. Data obtained from formative tests on the subject of dynamic electricity, then analyzed statistically to find out whether there is a difference in the value of science learning outcomes between the experiment class (students who are taught with the Pre-Solution Posing type Problem Posing learning model) and the dick class (students who are not taught with the Pre-Solution Posing type Problem Posing model or with expository learning strategies). The results showed that the application of the Pre-Solution Posing type Problem Posing model can improve student science learning outcomes, where the increase in student science learning outcomes is 12.76%.

Abstract

The ability to think critically is one of the skills that everyone should have in this 21st century that we are living. In physics subjects, this skill is urgently needed to understand concepts. However, educators in Indonesia are still limited to using learning media, so we researchers want to provide a broad picture of the use of innovative learning media on the critical thinking ability of students in physics learning. This research method uses literature studies with bibliometric analysis. . Research data was obtained from 236 articles selected through Publish or Perish which is indicated by Google Scholar from 2015-2022 in the form of article journals. The results of the data analysis show the development of trends in the use of physics learning media to students' critical thinking ability in the year has the highest graph in 2021 and the lowest in 2022. After filtering from 236 articles to the top 10 articles, the institution where the publication contributed a lot of research came from Sebelas Maret University with a total of 31 publications. The most contributor to the research is Sudarti who has published 5 articles. In the visualization display of the medium, it can be shown if the use of technology-based types of learning media can grow students' critical thinking skills. In addition, in the display of critical thinking ability visualization, the role of educators in influencing students in the learning process can improve students' critical thinking skills depending on the learning model used.

Abstract

As per most understudies, ideas in physical science are viewed as convoluted or hard to comprehend, causing understudy learning results to will quite often be low. To defeat this, the utilization of learning sight and sound as instructive games (instructive games) which have started to be applied to material science learning is thought of as adequate to assist understudies with grasping the idea of physical science, and learning media as instructive games are more alluring to understudies. This study means to decide the adequacy of involving this instructive game-based learning media in physical science learning, both regarding grasping ideas and learning results. The strategy utilized in this study utilizes a library research technique or approach. The type of this exploration is a writing study, with subjective information handling. The information assortment strategy utilized is through an efficient hunt that is applied from two data sets (Google Researcher and Sinta) with report examination to distinguish important writing studies. In light of the aftereffects of the primer review led, it was observed that game-based learning media were great. Understudies who utilize instructive games all the more effectively grasp different physical science ideas. Educators are made simpler in learning with game-based learning media that are fascinating and as per learning materials and learning is more alluring to understudies and ready to further develop understudy learning results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksankan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan lesson study melalui model problem based learning. Dengan menerapkan lesson study ini diharapkan mampu dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas berbasis lesson study dengan subjek peserta didik kelas VIIIA di SMPN 10 Madiun berjumlah 32 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, angket/kuesioner, dan tes (hasil belajar peserta didik). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 81% peserta didik mendapatkan nilai di atas nilai ketuntasan minimal maka, dapat dikatakan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learing (PBL) berbasis Lesson Study mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Science learning involves several abstract and complex concepts. To explain these abstract and complex concepts, learning strategies and supporting instructional media are needed. The presence of digital technology has become one alternative in science learning. The use of digital technology in science learning provides valuable opportunities to enhance the quality of learning, expand accessibility, and enrich students' experiences in understanding natural sciences. This study is a literature review of 200 research articles in the Google Scholar database from 2019 to 2022. The research findings show that the most commonly used digital technology in science learning is instructional videos. Digital technology enables easier access to various learning resources, such as videos, simulations, interactive software, and online resources. Students can easily access learning materials with the assistance of technology.

Abstract

Ganggguan siklon tropis adalah fenomena alam yang sering paling terjadi di wilayah Indonesia, terutama pada musim penghujan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami karakteristik gangguan siklon tropis dan citra satelit dari Himawari-8 Jepang. Kejadian gangguan siklon tropis pada tanggal 1-4 Desember 2021 yang terjadi di Perairan Filipina mengakibatkan ketidakstabilan arah angin di sekitaran Laut Cina Selatan khususnya Pulau Suamtera. Perubahan dari kondisi angin tersebut mengakibatkan kondisi cuaca, angin kencang yang memicu terjadinya badai topan. Maka, dilakukan pengamatan kondisi angin di wilayah Sumatera Utara. Dampak dari siklon tropis curah hujan yang terekam diwilayah sumatera utara dan sekitarnya menurun hingga mencapai 0 mm. Pada tanggal 1 curah hujan 0 mm, pada tanggal 2-3 curah hujan 1,2-5,3 mm dan pada tanggal 4 0 mm

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika merupakan pembelajaran yang sangat penting untuk dikuasai oleh peserta didik. Penguasaan bidang fisika ini dibutuhkan bagi para peserta didik yang akan mendalami bidang-bidang sains untuk mengoptimalkan segala hal yang tersedia di alam raya. Pembelajaran fisika membutuhkan strategi dan media yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik lebih mudah memahami konten materi yang disajikan dan mereka mampu mengembangkan materi yang telah diberikan. Penggunaan microlearning menjadi pembelajaran yang dapat membantu peserta didik untuk lebih fokus dalam belajar ilmu fisika. Dengan demikian, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai penelitian terkait microlearning dalam pembelajaran fisika dari tahuh 2018 hingga 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah system literatur review. Metpde SLR digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menafsirkan penelitian yang tersedia di bidang subjek dari fenomena yang menarik dalam pembelajaran fisika dengan microlearning yang dibahas secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa microlearning dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar peserta didik

Abstract

Telah dilakukan rancang bangun alat peraga pembelajaran fisika pada materi Gaya Lorentz. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan alat peraga Gaya Lorentz. Rancang bangun ini menggunakan alat seperti obeng, pemotong akrilik, gunting, bor listrik, dan multimeter. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan yaitu akrilik, kabel, baut, pipa kuningan, magnet neodium, colokan pisang, baterai, kabel buaya dan aluminium foil. Hasil pengujian alat peraga Gaya Lorentz ini menghasilkan arus listrik rata-rata 1,972 A, muatan medan magnet 0,3 Tesla, panjang penampang 0,1 m. Sehingga didapatkan hasil rata-rata perhitungan Gaya Lorentz yaitu 2,372 N.

Abstract

This article provides a bibliometric analysis of econophysics and wealth distribution models. This study was conducted using the Google Schoolar database and identified articles related to econophysics and wealth distribution models. In addition, this article evaluates the journals that publish the most articles on econophysics and wealth distribution models and analyzes the most frequently discussed research topics. There are 166 articles with 2577 citations and 1.86 Author/year. One interesting research trend is the new econophysics, quantitative exchange of wealth and redistribution that compares the characteristics of capitalism and evaluates the distribution of wealth. Econophysics has produced innovative and empirically relevant results in at least four research areas: financial markets, growth and distribution of firms and countries, distribution of income and wealth, and transmission, resilience, and resilience of networks. In addition, the most frequently discussed research topics are wealth distribution, and agent-based models.
