Abstract

This study aims to determine learning difficulties and the factors that cause it in the material particles that make up objects and living things in class IX students of MTs Al-Fathiyah. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. Methods of data collection by observation, documentation and interviews, as well as test questions as additional data collection. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data display, verification. The results showed that the learning difficulties experienced by the class IX students of MTs Al-Fathiyah were difficulty in counting, difficulty in understanding concepts/terms and difficulty in identifying. Factors causing learning difficulties experienced by class IX students of MTs Al-Fathiyah were internal factors, including learning styles, learning readiness, interest in learning, and physical conditions, while external factors include the way teachers teach, reduced learning hours and environmental influences. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar pada materi partikel penyusun benda dan makhluk hidup siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Fathiyah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, serta soal tes sebagai pengumpulan data tambahan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, data display, verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Fathiyah pada materi partikel penyusun benda dan makhluk hidup adalah kesulitan menghitung, kesulitan memahami konsep/istilah dan kesulitan mengidentifikasi. Sedangkan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Fathiyah pada materi partikel penyusun benda dan makhluk hidup adalah faktor internal seperti gaya belajar, kesiapan belajar, minat belajar, dan keadaan fisik, sedangkan faktor eksternal seperti cara guru mengajar, pengurangan jam belajar dan pengaruh lingkungan.

Abstract

With the implementation of online learning due to COVID-19 by the Indonesian government, it has greatly impacted the psychology of student learning, especially high school/vocational students. The Karang Buaya neighborhood of Mataram City is one of the areas where high school/vocational high school students learn to use online learning. The environment is one of the factors that can affect student learning, because students are less able to control themselves to focus on online learning. Learning through the internet is a new thing for students because the quota to access the internet and the network is less stable. This certainly interferes with the effectiveness of learning, slowness of thinking, weakened immunity, boredom and lack of social interaction. The purpose of this research is to find out the form of online learning, learning psychology symptoms and how high school/vocational high school students cope with learning psychology symptoms. Sources of data obtained from interviews with high school/vocational students who use online learning. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that online learning was not effective for students because it had an impact on student learning psychology. However, with this, students can overcome the way of learning with their own will so that high school / vocational students are more comfortable in learning. Pembelajaran daring selama pandemic COVID-19 memberikan dampak psikologis bagi siswa termasuk siswa SMA/SMK. Lingkungan Karang Buaya Kota Mataram menjadi salah satu daerah yang mempunyai siswa-siswi SMA/SMK yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran online. Lingkungan menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi belajar siswa, karena siswa kurang mampu mengendalikan diri untuk fokus dalam belajar daring. Belajar melalui jaringan internet menjadi hal baru yang dilakukan siswa karena kuota untuk mengakses internet dan jaringan kurang stabil. Hal ini tentu mengganggu keefektifan belajar, kelambanan berfikir, kekebalan tubuh melemah, bosan dan kurangnya interaksi sosial. Tujuan peneilitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk pembelajaran daring, gejala psikologi belajar dan cara siswa SMA/SMK mengatasi gejala psikologi belajar. Sumber data diperoleh dari wawancara dengan siswa SMA/SMK yang menggunakan pembelajaran daring. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pembelajaran daring tidak efektif bagi siswa karena berdampak terhadap psikologi belajar siswa. Namun dengan hal itu siswa dapat mengatasi cara belajar dengan kehendak masing-masing agar siswa SMA/SMK lebih nyaman dalam belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of short message guided learning media on student achievement on chemical bonding material. This type of research is a posttest control design research. Where sampling is done by simple random sampling which is then given a formative test instrument at the end of the lesson and analyzed using student t-test analysis to find out whether there are differences in student achievement with the short message guided media. The results of the analysis found that the short message guided media was able to have a positive influence on the chemistry learning achievement of class X students on chemical bonding material, this was indicated by the t-test result of 2.0248 which was greater than t-table of 1.666 at a significance level of 5%. Because tcount > ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between student achievement in the experimental class and the control class. Another result found that as many as 99.7% of students stated that the learning content presented via SMS was quite helpful to very helpful in understanding the material presented in class. Other data shows that 90.70% agree and strongly agree that the content presented via SMS can remind the subject matter that has been learned in class. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran short message guided terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi ikatan kimia. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian posttest control design. Di mana pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling yang kemudian diberikan instrument tes formatif pada akhir pembelajaran dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis student t-test untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa dengan adanya media short message guided. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa media short message guided mampu memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar kimia siswa kelas X pada materi ikatan kimia, hal ini ditandai dengan hasil uji thitung sebesar 2.0248 yang lebih besar dari ttabel 1.666 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Karena thitung > ttabel, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil lain ditemukan bahwa sebanyak 99,7% siswa menyatakan bahwa konten pembelajaran yang disajikan melalui SMS cukup membantu hingga sangat membantu dalam memahami materi yang disajikan di kelas. Data lain menunjukan 90.70% setuju dan sangat setuju bahwa konten yang disajikan melalui SMS dapat mengingatkan kembali materi pelajaran yang telah dipelajari di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of the periodic table of elements (SPU) material with local Sasak wisdom which has potential as a source of learning chemistry. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative through data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's qualitative analysis technique. The results showed that in the tradition of the Sasak people, lead (Pb) as an example of an element of group IVA and iron (Fe) which is group VIB and located in period 4 are widely used in the daily life of the Sasak people as an ingredient in making traditional musical instruments (terumpang, gongs, oncer or petuk, kenceng, and rencek), tools for traditional ceremonies, religious ceremonies, and traditional arts. In addition to iron (Fe), several types of elements such as gold (Au), silver (Ag), copper (Cu) which occupies group IB, and elements of zinc (Zn) which are in group IIB. These elements are widely used because they are related to the physical and chemical properties of these elements, namely easy to forge, not easy to rust, easy to find in everyday life, and not reactive. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relevance of the material on the periodic system of elements with local Sasak wisdom, namely on the sub-subject of the periodic classification of elements and the diversity of elemental properties. Recommendations for further research need to be researched to develop teaching materials for chemistry integrated with Sasak local wisdom as a form of implementation in learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis relevansi materi sistem periodik unsur (SPU) dengan kearifan lokal Sasak yang memiliki potensi sebagai salah satu sumber belajar kimia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam tradisi masyarakat Sasak, timbal (Pb) sebagai salah satu contoh unsur golongan IVA dan besi (Fe) yang merupakan golongan VIB dan terletak periode 4 banyak dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Sasak bahan dalam membuat alat-alat musik tradisional (terumpang, gong, oncer atau petuk, kenceng, dan rencek), alat-alat untuk upacara adat, upacara keagamaan, maupun kesenian tradisional. Selain besi (Fe), beberapa jenis unsur seperti emas (Au), perak (Ag), tembaga (Cu) yang menempati golongan IB, dan unsur seng (Zn) yang berada pada golongan IIB. Unsur-unsur tersebut banyak dimanfaatkan karena berkaitan dengan sifat fisika dan sifat kimia unsur-unsur tersebut yaitu mudah ditempa, tidak mudah berkarat, mudah ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan tidak bersifat reaktif. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu terdapat relevansi materi sistem periodik unsur dengan kearifan lokal Sasak yaitu pada sub pokok bahasan penggolongan periodik unsur dan keragaman sifat unsur. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar kimia terintegrasi kearifan lokal Sasak sebagai bentuk implementasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring merupakan pembelajaran alternatif pada masa pandemi covid-19, namun pada proses pembelajaran daring terdapat berbagai macam kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh siswa sehingga menimbulkan berbagai persepsi tentang pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang pembelajaran daring terhadap motivasi berprestasi, (2) pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang pembelajaran daring terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa, (3) pengaruh persespsi siswa tentang pembelajaran daring terhadap motivasi berprestasi dan keaktifan belajar siswa, dan (4) pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner, sedangkan untuk analisis data peneliti menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis korelasi kanonikal dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara umumnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang pembelajaran daring terhadap motivasi berprestasi dan keaktifan belajar siswa.   ABSTRACT Online learning is an alternative learning during the covid-19 pandemic, but in the online learning process there are various kinds of difficulties faced by students, giving rise to various perceptions about online learning. This study aims to determine (1) the effect of students’ perceptions of online learning on achievement motivation, (2) the influence of students’ perceptions of online learning on student learning activities, (3) the influence of students’ perceptions of online learning on achievement motivation and student learning activities, (4) the influence of achievement motivation on student learning activities. This research is acorrelation research with a quantitative approach, the method used is a questionnaire, while for data analysis the researcher uses simple regression analysis and canonical correlation analysis with the help of SPSS version 16.0. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of students’ perceptions about online learning on achievement motivation and student learning activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru IPA dan peserta didik di MA Dakwah Islamiyah Putri Nurul Hakim Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat saat melaksanakan pembelajaran online di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif yaitu pengukuran tendensi sentral dan perhitungan persentase. Indikator yang digunakan dalam kuesioner ini meliputi 6 indikator yang terbagi menjadi 2 faktor yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Indikator pada faktor internal terdiri atas indikator kesehatan, inteligensi, minat, dan motivasi. Sedangkan indikator pada faktor eksternal meliputi indikator ekonomi dan sarana prasarana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru IPA di Madrasah Aliyah Putri Nurul Hakim Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat mengalami hambatan tertinggi pada faktor internal yakni indikator motivasi sebesar 69.00% dan hambatan terendah ditemukan pada indikator sarana prasarana sebesar 63.33%. Pada peserta didik, hambatan tertinggi terdapat pada indikator intelegensi sebesar 74.80% dan hambatan terendah terdapat pada indikator sarana prasarana sebesar 65.43%.   ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to analysis some challenges faced by science teachers and students at MA Dakwah Islamiyah Putri Nurul Hakim Kediri, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat when students was doing online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The type of this research is quantitative using survey method. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. For data analysis, the researcher used descriptive statistics, by calculating both central tendency and the percentages. There are indicators was used in this research. Indicators of internal factor consist of health, intelligence, interest, and motivation. Meanwhile, indicators of external factor consist of both economy and infrastructure. The results in this study indicated that the highest challenges percentage for science teachers was in the motivation indicator. It was 69.00%. Meanwhile, the lowest challenges percentage was on the infrastructure indicator as much as 63.33%. For students, the highest challenges percentage was on intelligence indicator (74,80%) and the lowest challenges percentage was on infrastructure indicator (65.43%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder dan pengaruh konsentrasi terhadap diameter zona hambat antibakteri ekstrak kombinasi daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix) dan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Ekstrak kombinasi daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix) dan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera L.) diperoleh dari metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Skrining fitokimia yang dilakukan yaitu uji alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin, steroid, dan terpenoid. Sedangkan uji antibakteri terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus dilakukan menggunakan metode sumuran dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak kombinasi daun jeruk purut dan daun kelor 20%, 40%, 60% 80% dan 100%. Hasil penelitian skrining fitokimia menunjukkan hasil positif untuk alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, dan steroid. Adapun hasil pengujian zona hambat bakteri masing-masing secara berturut-turut yaitu 7,20 mm; 8,45 mm; 8,70 mm; 9,20 mm dan 10,68 mm. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa adanya kenaikan konsentrasi ekstrak kombinasi daun jeruk purut dan daun kelor berpengaruh pada semakin bertambahnya diameter zona hambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolites and the effect of concentration on the diameter of the antibacterial inhibition zone of the combination extracts of kaffir lime leaves (Citrus hystrix) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L.). This study use experimental methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Combination extracts of kaffir lime leaves (Citrus hystrix) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L.) were obtained by maceration method using 96% ethanol as solvent. Phytochemical screenings were carried out by testing for alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, and terpenoids. While the antibacterial test against Staphylococcus aureus was carried out using the well method with various concentrations combination extracts of kaffir lime leaves and moringa leaves 20%, 40%, 60% 80% and 100%. The results of the phytochemical screening study showed positive results for alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and steroids. The results of the bacterial inhibition zone testing were respectively 7.20 mm; 8.45 mm; 8.70 mm; 9.20 mm and 10.68 mm. Based on the results obtained indicate that an increase in concentration combination extracts of kaffir lime leaves and moringa leaves affects the increasing diameter of the inhibition zone on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.

Penggunaan pewarna alami yang berasal dari tumbuhan semakin banyak dilakukan salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan kulit rambutan yang menghasilkan warna cokelat muda. Namun konsumsi rambutan yang berlebih sebanding dengan sampah kulit rambutan yang dihasilkan. Pada penelitian ini, ekstrak dari kulit rambutan menggunakan mordan tawas pada kain katun ukuran 50 cm x 115 cm sebagai motif batik jumputan. Mordan tawas digunakan untuk tiga cara mordanting yang berbeda. Hasil warna cream coklat terbaik diperoleh pada meta-mordanting dengan uji ketahanan warna menggunakan detergen 1% dan Grey Scale dan Staining Scale.   ABSTRACT Natural dyes derived from plants is increasingly being done, one of which is by utilizing rambutan skin which produces a light brown color. However, excessive consumption of rambutan is comparable to the waste of rambutan skin that is produced. In this study, the authors used extracts from rambutan peel using alum mordant on 50 cm x 115 cm cotton as jumputan batik motifs. Alum mordant for using three different mordanting methods was used. The best brown cream color results were obtained in meta-mordanting with a color resistance test using 1% detergent and Grey Scale and Staining Scale Test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran kimia berbasis video animasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis pengembangan atau R&D (research & development) dengan menggunakan pengembangan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data untuk kelayakan media pembelajaran kimia oleh validator dan angket respon siswa. Validator terdiri dari dua orang dosen dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran kimia, dan siswa sebagai sampel ujicoba kelompok kecil dan ujicoba kelompok besar dengan memberikan angket respon ke siswa, sedangkan teknik analisis datakeefektifan media pembelajaran kimia untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh dari aspek internal dan eksternal dari indikator motivasi belajar. Analisis data kelayakan menggunakan persentase kelayakan, sedangkan keefektifan menggunakan rumus uji N Gain. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan tiga validator diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran kimia berbasis video animasi dinyatakan valid tinggi atau sangat layak dengan kategori rata-rata nilai valid 0,900884, sedangkan untuk angket respon siswa menyatakan layak tidak perlu revisi dengan persentase kelayakan rata-rata sebesar 81,16%. Nilai keefektifan penggunaan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis video animasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa menunjukkan kategori sedang dengan skor N Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,5.   ABSTRACT This study aims to develop an animated video-based chemistry learning media to increase students' learning motivation. This research is a research type of development or R&D (research & development) using the ADDIE model development (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). Data collection techniques for the feasibility of chemistry learning media by validators and student response questionnaires. The validator consists of two lecturers and one teacher of chemistry subject, and students as a sample of small group trials and large group trials by providing response questionnaires to students, while data analysis techniques on the effectiveness of chemistry learning media to increase student learning motivation are obtained from internal and external aspects. external indicators of learning motivation. The feasibility data analysis uses the percentage of feasibility, while the effectiveness uses the N Gain test formula. Based on the results of the feasibility test of the three validators, it was concluded that the animated video-based chemistry learning media was declared to be highly valid or very feasible with an average valid value category of 0,900884, while the student response questionnaire stated that it was feasible and did not need revision with an average feasibility percentage of 81,16%. The value of the effectiveness of using animated video-based chemistry learning media to increase students' learning motivation shows the medium category with an average N Gain score of 0,5.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan media game edukasi Quizizz terhadap keterampilan self regulated learning dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIA MAN 1 Lombok Timur pada masa pandemi covid-19. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest-pottest control group design.  Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes pada kelas eksperimen (X MIA 4) dan kelas kontrol (X MIA 3). Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah statistik parametris yaitu uji independent t-test dan uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media game edukasi Quizizz terhadap keterampilan self regulated learning siswa. Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media game edukasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media game edukasi Quizizz terhadap keterampilan self regulated learning dan hasil belajar siswa.   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to look at the use of Quizizz the educational game media for self-regulated learning skills and students learning outcomes of grade X MIA MAN 1 East Lombok during the Covid-19 pandemic. Type of experimental research with non-equivalent pretest-pottest control group design. Data collection with questionnaires and tests in experimental classes (X MIA 4) and control classes (X MIA 3). The data analysis technique used is parametric statistics, namely the independent t-test and the paired t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence from the use of Quizizz educational game media on students' self-regulated learning skills. There is no significant influence from the use of Quizizz educational game media on student learning outcomes. There is a significant influence of the use of quizizz educational game media on self-regulated learning skills and student learning outcomes.
