Abstract

This study aims to identify aquifer characteristics and estimate groundwater volume in Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency, to support water demand resulting from oil palm plantation activities. The method applied was the geoelectrical Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) using the Schlumberger configuration at ten measurement points, consisting of six points within the Alluvium Formation (Qa) and four points within the Tanjung Genting Formation (TRt). Apparent resistivity data were processed using least-square inversion with IPI2WIN software to obtain true resistivity values, which were subsequently interpreted through correlation with borehole data and previous studies. The results indicate that the main aquifer within the Alluvium Formation is developed in sand layers with varying thicknesses, approximately 32 m in the southern zone, 21 m in the central zone, and 36 m in the northern zone, with an average thickness of 27.5 m. Based on the Alluvium Formation area of 7,884 ha, the aquifer volume is estimated to reach 2.145 × 10⁹ m³. Assuming an effective porosity of 15%, the theoretical exploitable groundwater volume is approximately 3.21 × 10⁸ m³. This estimation suggests that the groundwater potential in Tempilang District is theoretically sufficient to meet the water demand of oil palm plantations; however, its utilization requires sustainable management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) learning model on students' computational thinking skills in learning physics on sound waves. The method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 30 grade XI students at a high school in Brebes Regency. The research instrument was a descriptive test to measure computational thinking skills that included indicators of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability. The validity test using Pearson correlation showed that all items had a correlation coefficient to the total score with a value of r = 0.400–0.618 and p < 0.05, so it was declared valid. The results of the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha obtained a coefficient of α = 0.747, which indicates that the test results indicate that the instrument is quite reliable and suitable for use in research. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test and strengthened with the Wilcoxon signed-rank test on pretest indicators that did not meet the assumption of normality. The analysis results showed a very significant increase in CTS between the pretest and posttest (p < 0.001) in the overall CTS and for each indicator. All indicators experienced an increase with an effect size in the very large category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the SSCS model can improve students' computational thinking skills in physics learning and is in line with the challenges of education in the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics comic based on a guided inquiry model and using social media to increase students' interest in learning Newton's Laws. In the context of physics learning, which tends to be considered difficult and boring, this study focuses on exploring comics as a more engaging and effective medium for increasing student engagement. The research design used was an experiment with an experimental group consisting of 40 students from two high schools in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with students selected who had adequate internet access. Data were collected through pretests and posttests to measure changes in students' learning interest, as well as questionnaires to assess students' responses to the learning media. The data analysis technique used was a paired t-test to identify differences between pretest and posttest scores. The results showed that the use of a physics comic based on a guided inquiry model using social media had a significant effect on increasing student motivation and engagement in physics learning. These findings provide a practical contribution to the development of more innovative and engaging learning media, and enrich the literature on the use of comics and social media in physics education. Theoretically, this study strengthens the constructivism and social learning frameworks in the context of physics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the interest and learning outcomes of elementary school students by using domino card game media. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects used in this study were 27 students of Elementary School 12 Mataram Class 3. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The results of the study showed an increase in learning interest and learning outcomes of students by implementing domino card game media. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning interest before the implementation of domino card game media reached 61.4 percent which means in the good category to 87 percent which means in the very good category after receiving the implementation of domino card game media. Learning outcomes also increased with an average cognitive result of 49.9 to 78.5 with an N-Gain of 0.6 which is categorized as medium. Therefore, the implementation of domino card games in elementary schools, especially at SDN 12 Mataram, is one way to improve the quality of education at the school, which is evident in the students' enjoyment, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the learning process. Students experience a fun learning process, which leads to a deeper understanding of the material. Their enthusiasm for completing and correctly answering each question in the domino card game has resulted in improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in class VIII-B at SMPN 11 Mataram through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Quizizz Paper Mode media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 28 students of class VIII-B in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected using mathematics learning outcome tests, while data analysis was carried out descriptively. The indicator of research success was determined based on the achievement of the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 67 with a minimum classical mastery of 85%. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage, the students’ average score was 54 with a mastery level of 29%. In Cycle I, the average score increased to 64 with a mastery level of 64%. Furthermore, in Cycle II, the students’ average score increased significantly to 89, with classical mastery reaching 89%. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model supported by Quizizz Paper Mode media was effective in improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa yang tercermin dari hasil survei PISA 2023 dan fakta bahwa metode pembelajaran konvensional yang diterapkan di kelas II SDN 35 Ampenan cenderung kurang menarik dan kurang melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Wordwall terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SDN 35 Ampenan. penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 53 peserta didik yang terbagi menjadi kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan kemampuan membaca pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 47,96 dan post-test sebesar 91,66, dibanding kelas kontrol yang rata-rata pre-test dan post-test-nya masing-masing 45,64 dan 74,4. hasil signifikan dari uji Independent Sample T-test. diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara rata-rata kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media wordwall.terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan

Abstract

This study aims to identify indications of sulfide mineralization in the volcanic area of Tolitoli, Central Sulawesi, using two-dimensional (2D) geoelectrical resistivity and Induced Polarization (IP) methods. Data acquisition was carried out along ten survey lines using the Wenner–Schlumberger configuration, which were divided into two observation areas. The resistivity inversion results show relatively high values, generally exceeding 1000 Ωm, interpreted as massive and relatively fresh volcanic rocks such as andesite and basalt. Nevertheless, the Induced Polarization data reveal zones with moderate to high chargeability values (40–60 ms), indicating the presence of disseminated sulfide minerals, particularly pyrite, within the volcanic rocks. The chargeability anomalies are locally developed and are generally associated with fracture zones and geological structures that act as pathways for hydrothermal fluid migration. The most prominent prospective zones for sulfide mineralization were identified along survey lines 3 and 6. The integration of resistivity and IP methods is proven to be effective in identifying indications of sulfide mineralization in complex volcanic environments, even within high-resistivity rocks, and provides a preliminary assessment of subsurface mineralization potential in the Tolitoli area.

Abstract

Sustainable leadership of the principal as a leadership style that focuses on improving andimplementing professional tasks in the school including for a teacher to lead is related to oneanother. To create a teacher leadership process and implementation, it is always related to how aleader behaves and makes improvements every time for long-term goals. Sustainable leadershippractices are considered to often contribute to teacher leadership practices in schools (Cook,2014). In parallel, a descriptive research survey was conducted to identify sustainable leadershippractices of principals and correlations of levels of teacher leadership practices. This researchinvolved junior high school woha bima NTB Indonesia. The population of respondents in thisstudy were all senior teachers, amounting to 85 people. Data were analyzed using scores,standard deviations and person correlations. Data were collected using a questionnaire developedand modified by the theory of sustainable leadership established by Hargreaves and Fink (2006)and the theory of teacher leadership by Ktzenmeyer & Moller (2001). The results of the studyfound that the sustainable leadership of the principal has a strong positive relationship at thesignificant level of p> 0,000 between the sustainable leadership of the principal and theleadership of the teacher at SMP Woha Bima, NTB. The Pearson value of r = 0.719 indicates thatsustainable leadership practices have a strong enough relationship with the level of teacherleadership practices in SMP Negeri Woha District, Bima Regency, NTB. Thus, the results of theperson correlation test study showed a significant relationship between sustainable teacherleadership practices and teacher leadership.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang diintegrasikan dengan komponen CASEL di kelas VIII F SMPN 8 Mataram. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan McTaggart, dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tiga tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh temuan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang cukup signifikan dari pra-siklus hingga siklus II. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 76,527 pada tahap pra-siklus menjadi 86,194 pada siklus II, sementara persentase siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) naik dari 55,555% menjadi 97,222%. Temuan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang diintegrasikan dengan komponen CASEL tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran, tetapi juga efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional yang mendukung proses belajar. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran ini mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif, kondusif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan siswa, sehingga membantu seluruh siswa untuk mencapai potensi akademik yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Problematika yang dihadapi oleh Guru sosiologi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran menggunakan metode PBL di SMA Birrul Walidain NWDI Rensing. Penelitan ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yakni suatu rancangan metode penelitian yang berfokus pada perspektif, penggalaman, dan perilaku berbagai responden pada suatu kajian penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Birrul Walidain NWDI Rensing, dari penelitian ini di temukan bahwa probelmatika pembelajaran sosiologi dalam penerapan metode PBL terbagi pada dua problematika yakni problematika yang terjadi pada guru dan problematika yang terjadi pada siswa
