Abstract

This study examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the e-commerce sector in Indonesia by comparing its growth at the beginning and end of the pandemic. COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and became a global pandemic in March 2020. The pandemic affected various sectors, including the economy and business, with some sectors like e-commerce experiencing growth. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data from "E-commerce Statistics 2020" and "E-commerce Statistics 2022" published by BPS. Data shows a significant increase in the number of e-commerce businesses, from 2,361,423 in 2020 to 2,995,986 in 2022. Correlation analysis and t-tests indicate a strong positive relationship and a significant difference in the number of e-commerce businesses between these periods. This study provides insights into the development of the e-commerce sector during the pandemic and aids stakeholders in making decisions in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan burnout kerja pada guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Masalah burnout pada guru menjadi perhatian karena dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kinerja profesional dan perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 247 guru yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala self-efficacy dan skala burnout kerja yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman satu arah menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang sangat kuat antara self-efficacy dan burnout (r = 0,916). Namun, nilai signifikansi (p = 1,000) menunjukkan bahwa hubungan tersebut tidak signifikan dalam konteks pengujian hipotesis arah negatif. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan adanya hubungan negatif antara self-efficacy dan burnout tidak dapat diterima. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam konteks penelitian ini, self-efficacy yang tinggi tidak secara signifikan berkaitan dengan rendahnya tingkat burnout pada guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

This article aimed to examine the influence of leadership, competence, and training on employee performance with motivation as a mediating variable at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Southwest Sumba Regency. The study employed a literature review approach by analyzing various relevant scholarly sources published between 2015 and 2025. The findings revealed that leadership, competence, and training had a positive and significant impact on employee performance, both directly and through work motivation. Effective leadership encouraged employee morale and loyalty. Adequate competence improved confidence and work efficiency, while relevant training strengthened technical abilities and work attitudes. Motivation was proven to be a key factor mediating the influence of those three variables on improving employee performance. These findings emphasized that enhancing the performance of civil servants in the public sector requires strategic and integrated human resource management, particularly through improving work motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the need for achievement behavior among fully voluntary participant in nonprofit organization. The volunteers of a nonprofit organization have a crucial role in the organization, but their participation often fluctuates significantly. Researchers suspect that this is closely related to the individual's psychological health condition, specifically the level of need for achievement (n-Ach). This research uses a descriptive quantitative method with a modified McClelland need for achievement scale instrument, to adapt to the context of nonprofit organizations. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling and convenience sampling of 128 active volunteers from various backgrounds. The results showed that n-Ach in volunteers could be described in the high, medium, and low categories, then through the Mann-Whitney U-Test there was no significant difference based on gender and duration of volunteer involvement. This research is expected to contribute to understanding volunteer motivation, becoming a reference and implications for policy development and volunteer management in nonprofit organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and synthesize the educational thought and praxis of KH Ahmad Dahlan and Ki Hajar Dewantara as a conceptual foundation for the transformation of Indonesian education in the digital era. Using a qualitative-philosophical approach through literature review and hermeneutic analysis, the research reveals the core values of progressive education based on faith, knowledge, and action according to KH Ahmad Dahlan, as well as holistic and humanistic education rooted in national culture according to Ki Hajar Dewantara. The findings indicate that synthesizing the thoughts of these two figures can provide a new direction for the development of an education system that integrates spiritual values, character, and technology in a balanced manner. This synthesis is relevant in addressing contemporary challenges such as digitalization, hybrid learning, artificial intelligence, and the identity crisis in national education. The study recommends an educational model grounded in both local and universal values, and adaptive to digital disruption, to shape Indonesian individuals who are independent, faithful, and globally competitive.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology and the emergence of artificial intelligence demand that the education sector, including Muhammadiyah, integrate technological sophistication with Islamic ethical values. This paper examines the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan within the framework of Muhammadiyah’s educational philosophy in responding to the challenges of digitalization and digital literacy. Using a qualitative literature study approach, the discussion focuses on the concept of tauhidic ethics an ethical foundation rooted in the oneness of God (tauhid) and its application in fostering digital civility. This concept is compared with the ideas of Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas on adab, Seyyed Hossein Nasr on spirituality and technology, Paulo Freire on critical literacy, and Mike Ribble on digital citizenship. The study shows that tauhidic ethics is relevant in shaping ethical digital behavior, in line with Al-Attas’ emphasis on the proper placement of knowledge, and Nasr’s view on the importance of spiritual dimensions in the use of modern technology. Freire contributes a critical awareness perspective that aligns with the Islamic principle of tabayyun (verification), while Ribble offers practical guidelines that can be integrated with Muhammadiyah values such as the Akhlaq Sosmediyah movement. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digitalization on lifestyle, mental health, and social interaction among Generation Z and Generation Alpha in Bekasi City. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a survey method, data were collected from students and university students using a structured Likert scale questionnaire. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to examine the relationships between latent variables. The results indicate that digitalization significantly influences lifestyle, mental well-being, and social interaction. It shapes daily habits that are increasingly connected to digital technology, influencing consumption patterns and activity management among the youth. However, excessive use of digital media also contributes to psychological strain and a decline in the quality of face-to-face social relationships. These findings suggest that Generation Z and Alpha live in a highly digitalized environment, necessitating guidance, digital literacy education, and supportive social policies to maintain a balance between technology usage and the psychological and social well-being of young people

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spiritual, dan kecerdasan intelektual memengaruhi kinerja seorang dosen; keterlibatan di tempat kerja dianggap sebagai variabel moderasi, dan dukungan organisasi dianggap sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan sebelumnya yang tidak konsisten tentang kontribusi ketiga kecerdasan tersebut terhadap kinerja adalah masalah utama. Ini terutama berlaku untuk perguruan tinggi swasta. Studi ini melakukan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 130 dosen tetap yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner terstandar yang telah dimodifikasi, meliputi tes kecerdasan emosional, spiritual, intelektual, skala keterikatan kerja, persepsi dukungan organisasi, dan indikator kinerja dosen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spiritual berdampak negatif terhadap keterikatan kerja, sedangkan kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan intelektual berdampak positif. Karena keterikatan kerja tidak mempengaruhi kinerja dosen secara signifikan, peran mediasi hanya muncul secara parsial melalui jalur kecerdasan spiritual. Terbukti bahwa kinerja dosen dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh dukungan organisasi; namun, hubungan antara keterikatan kerja dan kinerja tidak diperkuat. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan intelektual dosen, menyelaraskan nilai spiritual dengan tujuan kinerja, dan mendapatkan dukungan organisasi yang lebih besar sangat penting. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini membantu mengembangkan model Job Demands–Resources di institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta. Namun, secara praktis, temuan-temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk kebijakan manajemen sumber daya manusia di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The advancement of financial technology in Indonesia has driven the popularity of digital wallets (e-wallets) as transaction methods. ShopeePay, as one of the leading e-wallets, faces challenges in maintaining user loyalty amidst industry competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived service ease and cashback promotions on ShopeePay user loyalty among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Langlangbuana. A quantitative approach was applied with descriptive and verificative methods. A sample of 100 respondents was selected via snowball sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression (path analysis) with SPSS 26. The results indicate that the perceived ease of ShopeePay service is in the moderately easy category, cashback promotions are moderately attractive, and user loyalty (intention to reuse) falls in the moderately high category. Partial t-tests confirm that both perceived ease and cashback promotion have a positive and significant individual effect on ShopeePay reuse intention. The simultaneous F-test shows that these two variables together have a significant effect on reuse intention (F_calculated = 104.634; p < 0.001). These findings suggest that service ease and cashback promotions are determinant factors of ShopeePay user loyalty. Cashback promotions exhibit a more dominant influence than service ease in encouraging repeated use, implying that loyalty enhancement efforts should emphasize financial incentives without neglecting service simplicity.

Abstract

This article examines the determinants of employee performance and analyzes the correlation between these determinants and satisfaction and performance. This article discusses leadership style, motivation, organizational culture and job satisfaction as the main aspects. The purpose of this scientific article is to identify interrelated hypotheses among the above factors for use in future writings. This scientific method uses qualitative techniques and literature reviews. This article is based on various related journals to formulate new hypotheses regarding leadership style that results in job satisfaction, organizational culture results in job satisfaction, motivation results in job satisfaction, leadership style results in employee performance, organizational culture results in employee performance, the role of motivation in employee performance, and the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance.
