Journal of Industrial Engineering & Management Research (JIEMAR)
The aim of JIEMAR ( Journal of Industrial Engineering & Management Research is to publish theoretical and empirical articles that are aimed to contrast and extend existing theories, and build new theories that contribute to advance our understanding of phenomena related with industrial engineering and industrial management in organizations, from the perspectives of Production Planning/Scheduling/Inventory, Logistics/Supply Chain, Quality Management, Operations Management and Operational Research. The contributions can adopt confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (mainly qualitative) methodological approaches. Theoretical essays that enhance the building or extension of theoretical approaches are also welcome. JIEMAR selects the articles to be published with a double bind, peer review system, following the practices of good scholarly journals. JIEMAR is published monthly (on-line versions), following an open access policy. On-line publication allows to reduce publishing costs, and to make more agile the process of reviewing and edition. JIEMAR defends that open access publishing fosters the advance of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone. <![CDATA[Abstract — This study aims to analyze the influence of personality, work motivation, and compensation on turnover intention. The population in this study were 297 employees of PT. MPI. The sample used is 75 employees, calculated based on the Slovin formula. Sampling method using Stratified Random Sampling. Methods of data collection using survey methods, with the research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis method using Partial Least Square 3.0 application. This study proves that personality has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Work motivation has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. <![CDATA[Pelaksanaan Proyek Pembangunan Bendungan Bendo Lanjutan Kab Ponorogo Jawa Timur direncanakan selesai dalam 750 hari kalender, namun pelaksanaan proyek tersebut mengalami keterlambatan, yang dapat berdampak besar terhadap waktu dan biaya pada proyek tersebut. Karena itu diperlukan analisis metode percepatan dengan pengurangan durasi proyek agar dapat mengejar prestasi yang tertinggal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan percepatan (crashing) dengan penambahan jam kerja lembur, menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan metode tumpang tindih (overlapping), menganalisis waktu dan biaya proyek jika dilakukan metode gabungan antara percepatan (crashing) dan tumpang tindih (overlapping), yang terakhir bertujuan untuk mengkaji waktu dan biaya yang paling optimal dengan menggunakan alternatif crashing, overlapping dan gabungan antara crashing overlapping. Data yang dibutuhkan yaitu data sekunder berupa data time schedule dan laporan mingguan proyek, rencana anggaran biaya proyek, jumlah tenaga kerja setiap item pekerjaan. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengetahui waktu dan biaya akibat percepatan dengan penambahan jam kerja (crashing), overlapping dan gabungan crashing overlapping, selanjutnya dicari perbandingan waktu dan biaya yang optimum dari tiga alternative tersebut. Dari hasil tiga perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa waktu dan biaya akibat percepatan yang optimum adalah metode gabungan crashing dan overlapping dengan penambahan jam kerja (lembur) selama 3 jam serta mengubah relationship dan lag didapat pengurangan biaya sebesar Rp 5.854.374.553 dari total biaya pekerjaan normal yang jumlahnya sebesar Rp 287.227.881.577 menjadi Rp 281.373.507.024 atau turun 2,038 % dari total biaya pekerjaan normal dengan pengurangan durasi pekerjaan waktu selama 271 hari dari waktu normal 750 hari menjadi 479 hari.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was aimed to analyze the business process of product purchase and product receipt on small and medium retail enterprises. The most of problem that appeared on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) was lack of awareness to fix and improve the business process, because the appropriate business process could help the development of organization. The illustration of business process used Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). BPMN could really help the making of business process to be understood easier by the users and could be analyzed, so it produced improvement suggestions on the business process in order to achieve business effectiveness. This research was a qualitative research, which the research data was collected through observation and interview techniques in PO Dolopo Grosir which was one of the biggest wholesale shops in Madiun District. The research result referred the deficiency on the business process of product purchase and product receipt in PO Dolopo Grosir. The deficiencies on this business process could be risky to cause problems such as error of purchase decision, forgetfulness of product return, and less strict checking standard on product receipt process.]]>

<![CDATA[Communications and Informatics Office of Bogor Municipality is a government agency that has the task of assisting the Mayor of Bogor in carrying out Government Affairs in the field of Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption management that has implemented e-Government in its public services. The impact of the e-Government’s implementation in public services with the increasing communication and exchange of data electronically causes vulnerabilities in information and communication system transactions which greatly affect the quality and security of information, so that the management of information security becomes very important for the Communications and Informatics Office of Bogor Municipality. This research was conducted to determine the level of readiness of information security management at the Communications and Informatics Office of Bogor Municipality using the Information Security Index (KAMI Index) Version 4.0 according to the security aspects defined by the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard made by the National Cyber and Crypto Board (BSSN). by evaluating various areas that are the target of the application of information security through the interview process. The evaluation result of the Electronic System Category obtained value of 35 and included in the Strategic Category illustrating that the use of electronic systems is an integral strategic part in supporting ongoing work processes. The evaluation result of the five areas of information security obtained a total score of 395 at the Basic Framework stage with Maturity Levels I+ to II. Based on the evaluation results, recommendations are prioritized at the lowest maturity level, namely the Information Security Risk Management area so that in the next evaluation there can be an increase in the level of information security maturity until it reaches the expected maturity level according to ISO 27001 compliance standards, which is at level III.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the relationship between firm value with institutional ownership capital structure and profitability in the company. The data used in this study is the annual report of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2019 period. This study uses quantitative methods. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis tools. The implications of the research are expected to make a positive contribution to all parties. As a consideration for the company in observing the factors that have an influence on the value of the company. This research is also expected to be useful for investors and potential investors in seeing opportunities to increase the value of shares held in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage industry sector listed on the IDX. The regulator can also assess and supervise the factors that affect the value of the company so that the financial statements presented are also able to increase the value of the company, therefore the financial statements issued by the company must have quality so that they can be used as a basis for decision making. Capital structure greatly influences the policies taken in the company's operational activities. In addition, the large percentage of share ownership by professionals will also directly increase the value of the company. Profitability is a real benchmark of a company's value that is used as the basis for many parties, especially investors in determining investment in a company.]]>

<![CDATA[The company's growth is expected to be faster in order to survive in the competition, in the current digital era the number of competitors cannot be known for sure because many are moving digitally. so that in this study the researchers saw the importance of organizational commitment and the role of employees in advancing the company in the current digital era, therefore this study aims to determine the factors that influence this and how much influence leadership and integrity have on it. This study uses the analytical method used is descriptive analysis, and the test instrument using SEM PLS with the number of samples used as many as 140 permanent employees in one of the company's departments. The results of the study indicate that leadership and integrity partially and significantly affect organizational commitment and employee performance. While simultaneously leadership and integrity have a significant effect on employee performance by mediating Organizational Commitment.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pembinaan dan kinerja pegawai di sekolah , menganalisis hubungan antara pelatihan dan pengembangan terhadap kinerja pegawai, menganalisis hubungan pemberdayaan dengan kinerja pegawai dan menganalisis hubungan antara partisipasi dengan kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan metode pengolahan datanya menggunakan PLS dan menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 3.0. Pengumpulan Data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online kepada 120 pegawai sekolah dan dari hasil penelitian kuesioner yang dikembalikan sebanyak 90 kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa variabel pembinaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Peningkatan variabel pembinaan akan diikuti dengan peningkatan kinerja pegawai dan penurunan variabel pembinaan akan diikuti dengan penurunan kinerja pegawai. <![CDATA[This study aims to test and analyze tax aggressiveness in various industrial sector Indonesia Stock Exchange manufacturing companies (IDX). The variables tested include Transfer Pricing, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Earnings Management and Tax Aggressiveness. This research involves various industrial sector Indonesia Stock Exchange manufacturing companies (IDX) in 2017-2019. Sample selection was done by using the purposive sampling method. The data used is external data, which is obtained by accessing IDX website. The data analysis process is carried out by calculating the PLS Algorithm using SmartPLS and then testing the hypothesis. The results show that Corporate Governance and Earnings Management have effect with positive relation direction on Tax Aggressiveness, Transfer Pricing and Corporate Social Responsibility have no effect on Tax Aggressiveness, Transfer Pricing has an effect with positive relation direction to Earnings Management, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility have no effect on Earnings Management.]]>
