Abstract

Digital transformation is currently a very important agenda in the Indonesian Banking Industry. The era of globalization, and changes in customer transaction preferences during the Covid 19 pandemic, have encouraged companies to make various changes related to technology. Being adaptive and agile throughout the process is one of the foundations in maintaining the reliability and sustainability of the company. However, drastic changes and various uncertainties that arise during the transformation process can affect various aspects of human resources, such as motivation, job satisfaction and performance. In this study, the effect of transformational leadership and employee motivation on employee performance will be calculated through job satisfaction as an intervening. This research was conducted at a private bank in Indonesia with 95 respondents located in Tangerang, an industrial area located near the Indonesian capital city. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and the type of research is quantitative. Collecting data using a survey method through distributing questionnaires using a likert scale, the analysis method using SEM-PLS. The results of data analysis show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Direct work motivation has no significant effect, but through job satisfaction it has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

It is necessary to retain talented employees familiar with the working conditions and perform better than the new employees. Most employers usually attempt to decrease employee turnover to decrease training costs, recruitment costs, loss of talent and organizational knowledge. P.T. Alfa Scorpii is an automotive shop which is located at Jl. Adam Malik no 34 Medan. Based on the information that the writer has research, there is a turnover among the employees, and the employer struggles to retain their valuable employees. The employees are not committed to the organization and decided to leave the organization for another job due to compensation, job characteristics, training and development opportunities, supervisor support, career opportunities, and work/life policies. The writer used employees in the sales department in P.T. Alfa Scorpii Medan as the population. The sampling theory by Slovin is 95 people. The sampling technique used is the simple random sampling in which each member of the population has an equal and known chance of being selected In analyzing data, the writer used some methods such as statistics, validity test, reliability test, correlation test, determination test, linear regression, and hypothesis test. According to the result calculation data through the respondents' answers, the writer got the result of 0.82, which means retention factors positively and significantly affect organizational commitment at P.T. Alfa Scorpii Medan. From the calculation of the hypothesis test, zcount= 6.83. The zcount > ztable (6.83>1.96) means the Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Retention factors affect organizational commitment at P.T. Alfa Scorpii Medan. Keywords: Retention Factors, Organizational Commitment

Abstract

This classroom action research was carried out because the use of media in learning was less varied so that the understanding of students was less than optimal, especially the ability to think creatively. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creative thinking skills by using ICT-based learning multimedia. The research subjects were the fourth grade of SDN Dadirejo 01 with 16 children. The research method used is classroom action research with the Arikunto model. The research was conducted in three cycles with two actions in each cycle through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The indicators of creative thinking skills used are fluency, flexibility, originality, and detail. The research instruments used were observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data. The results of the study were described through students' activities in describing information, making a list of questions, and conducting interviews. The use of ICT-based learning multimedia can increase students' creative thinking skills by 31.3%. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of ICT-based multimedia can improve the creative thinking skills of fourth grade at SDN Dadirejo 01.

Abstract

The research aims to find ways and strategies to improve teacher work innovation by analyzing the influence of other variables that influence it. Reasearch using the Modeling and Optimization of Resource Management Approach (POP-SDM). At the initial stage Qualitative exploratory research was conducted on 7 principals of SMK to find variables that affect teacher work innovation. Based on the dominant variables found, a constellation model of research was built through theoretical studies and expert judgment. Furthermore, the research constellation model was tested through quantitative research using SEM-PLS on 157 vocational teachers of SMK. The sub structural models tested were: 1) The direct influence of proactive personality, adversity quotient, organizational support, technological pedagogical content knowledge, and work motivation on teacher work innovation; 2) The direct influence of proactive personality and adversity quotient on technological pedagogical content knowledge; 3) The direct influence of organizational support on work motivation. The study found: 1) Teacher work innovation can be explained by the influence of proactive personality, adversity quotient, organizational support, technological pedagogical content knowledge and work motivation, R2 = 0.753 (75.3%) with the structural equation Y = 0.514X1 + 0.259X2 + 0.579X3 + 0.274X4 + 0.226X5 + ε0.497; 2) technological pedagogical content knowledge can be explained by the influence of proactive personality and adversity quotient, R2 = 0.355 (35.5%) with structural equation X4 = 0.408X1 + 0.303X2 + ε0.803; 3) Work motivation can be explained by the influence of organizational support, R2 = 0.417 (41.7%) with the structural equation X4 = 0.408X1 + 0.303X2 + ε0.803. The value of Q2 = 0.734 indicates the model has a GoF of 73%. (Good category). The results of hypothesis testing also concluded that the variables of technological pedagogical content knowledge and work motivation were not effective as intervening variables. Thus, the improvement of teacher work innovation is more effectively carried out directly through strengthening proactive personality, adversity quotient, organizational support, technological pedagogical content knowledge and work motivation.Sitorem's analysis concluded that organizational support variables and knowledge of pedagogical content had a major influence on teacher work innovation. As a follow-up to the research results, strengthening the indicators that are still weak in these two variables is a priority to be improved immediately.

Abstract

Many social and management studies use quantitative methods that use partial least sound. The purpose of this article is to explain the sequence and standard of data processing using partial least squares for social and management research. The method of writing this article is to review articles written by Hair. The results of the explanation of this article can help researchers to process and analyze data with partial least squares. PLS is an acronym for Partial Least Square. Broadly speaking, PLS is a measuring tool in statistical methods. PLS is a multivariate technique that is capable of managing various things such as response variables to explanatory variables simultaneously. From the initial explanation, it is clear how PLS brings convenience to those who master it.Actually, PLS is an alternative in statistics
