The aim of JIEMAR ( Journal of Industrial Engineering & Management Research is to publish theoretical and empirical articles that are aimed to contrast and extend existing theories, and build new theories that contribute to advance our understanding of phenomena related with industrial engineering and industrial management in organizations, from the perspectives of Production Planning/Scheduling/Inventory, Logistics/Supply Chain, Quality Management, Operations Management and Operational Research. The contributions can adopt confirmatory (quantitative) or explanatory (mainly qualitative) methodological approaches. Theoretical essays that enhance the building or extension of theoretical approaches are also welcome. JIEMAR selects the articles to be published with a double bind, peer review system, following the practices of good scholarly journals. JIEMAR is published monthly (on-line versions), following an open access policy. On-line publication allows to reduce publishing costs, and to make more agile the process of reviewing and edition. JIEMAR defends that open access publishing fosters the advance of scientific knowledge, making it available to everyone. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find 1) the effect of job satisfaction on work loyalty, 2) the effect of transformational leadership on work loyalty, 3) the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, 4) the effect of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior, and 5) the effect of satisfaction work and transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior which is mediated by work loyalty. This research took as its object the Directorate General of Postal and Information Resources and Equipment with a total of 435 employees as respondents. Abstract

Education in the era of globalization really demands that all resources operating in the world of education, especially teachers, must quickly adapt to these conditions. This research aims to describe teachers' strategies in facing digital transformation in the era of education 4.0 considering the important role of educators. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out at one of the Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT) in East Jakarta using data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The research results show that teachers' strategies in dealing with digital transformation are good through effective implementation in learning. The strategy carried out is through learning technology training by bringing in IT expert resource persons from several computer tutoring centers and colleagues regarding Google Class Room, Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, Sway, Canva, and video editing. Self-motivation and self-esteem make the strategies implemented in facing digital transformation work well. School support regarding IT infrastructure is very helpful in the implementation efforts carried out by teachers. The strategies carried out, the results have been implemented in the learning process for students. The obstacle in facing this strategy is the problem of an unstable internet connection. The main strategy that must be carried out concerns the capabilities of human resources and the infrastructure that is owned must be adapted to changes in needs that occur. Digital technology as a strategy must be well prepared so that digital transformation runs smoothly.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is the Indonesian Government's policy in preparing students for learning outcomes in the implementation of the new curriculum. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the independent curriculum improves the learning outcomes of students at Development Technology Vocational School and Puja Bangsa Vocational School. The research method chosen in this research is a qualitative method in the form of data analysis (library research). Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The source of information we got was from the Deputy Head of Curriculum. The results of the research show that the independent curriculum plays an important role in improving learning outcomes where the teaching and learning process can take place in an exciting way, filled with creativity and innovation which can later motivate students to learn, and teachers are also motivated to improve their professional abilities in teaching and learning activities, so that learning outcomes achieved. So the researcher can conclude that the Merdeka curriculum is freedom in determining how to behave, process, think, act creatively for the self-development of each individual by determining his own destiny. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in improving learning outcomes is marked by the implementation of a learning process in which the teacher becomes a facilitator, mediator and motivator for students so that they are enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan Ekonomi menjadi faktor penting untuk mengukur kesuksesan perekonomian suatu negara. Berdasarkan hal itu, setiap negara akan selalu berusaha meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi negaranya demi target prioritas yang akan dicapai. Maka dari itu, peneliti melakuka penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk memaparkan faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara-negara anggota ASEAN khususnya Produk Domestik Bruto. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 11 sampel negara yang sudah tergabung di ASEAN yaitu Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapura, Filipina, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Kamboja, dan Timor Leste. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Regresi Data Panel dengan bantuan program R. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data panel dari seluruh negara anggota ASEAN dalam periode tahun 2011 hingga 2022. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB), LAB (Labour Force), FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), EKS (Eksport), dan IMP (Import). Hasil yang diperoleh dari menggunakan model Random Effect Model dengan Efek dua arah atau efek individu serta waktu yaitu Labour Force dan variabel Export berpengaruh signifikan terhadap PDB.

Abstract

Sebagai negara kepulauan, Indonesia dapat mengembangkan sektor pariwisata, karena sektor pariwisata telah berkembang pesat di Indonesia dan di seluruh dunia, Indonesia mempunyai potensi yang besar untuk mengembangkan sektor ini. Salah satunya adalah Kelapa Gading. Kecamatan Kelapa Gading terletak di Kota Jakarta Utara, Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Indonesia. Jika sebelumnya Pluit lebih ramai, saat ini Kelapa Gading berkembang seperti Pluit. Salah satu hotel di daerah Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, adalah MP Hotel. MP Hotel adalah hotel dengan harga terjangkau yang menawarkan fasilitas dan pelayanan maksimal. Namun pada tahun 2021, kebanyakan tamu memilih hotel lain daripada MP Hotel di Kelapa Gading. Karena kebanyakan tamu mengatakan bahwa MP Hotel tidak mempunyai kualitas kamar dan pelayanan yang diharapkan. Selain itu, harga yang ditawarkan tidak sebanding dengan kamar serta pelayanan yang ditawarkan. akibatnya, loyalitas pelanggan menurun, menimbulkan masalah bagi MP Hotel. Tujuan dari penelitian tersebut adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pelayanan dan harga dalam perusahaan seperti MP hotel berdampak pada loyalitas pelanggan. Untuk mendapatkan sebanyak mungkin responden, penelitian tersebut menggunakan convenience sampling. Studi ini melibatkan 171 responden yang berusia antara 20 dan 30 tahun yang pernah menginap di MP Hotel. Melakukan survei pada pelanggan dan mengisi angka data yang akan dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS versi 3.0 dan Excel adalah alat yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas layanan dan harga yang kompetitif meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan di MP Hotel Kelapa Gading.

Abstract

Looking at the high population growth from year to year, the need for food is increasing, so food processing services are a suitable concept for creating business opportunities in the food industry. DKI Jakarta is the right location to set up a food processing service business. Door Kitchen is a food processing service that comes with 3 different types of cuisine, namely Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese which can be ordered via the application. The purpose of this research is to carry out an in-depth analysis regarding food processing services that will be developed, so as to determine whether implementing this business is a viable option or not. The method used is primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires, observation and structured interviews. There were at least 115 respondents used as samples in this research. The research results reveal that the success of a digital-based food processing service business such as door kithcen can be influenced by market and marketing aspects, operational aspects, organizational and human resource aspects and financial aspects. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differentiation strategy, cost leadership, and market orientation on product excellence. The research approach taken is to use a qualitative approach. The population of this study were all employees, especially in the field of sales and marketing. From the existing population, the sample was set at 60 people. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The analytical tool used to qualitatively determine the effect between variables in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Differentiation Strategy has a positive effect on product excellence, Cost leadership has a positive effect on product excellence. Market orientation has no effect on product excellence. And simultaneously all independent variables have a positive effect on product excellence. This is evidenced by the coefficient of determination which is positive and the significant value is less than 0.05 or where the F-count value is greater than the F-table value. Managerial implications include the importance of companies to consider implementing differentiation and cost leadership strategies to increase their product advantage in a competitive market. Future research implications include the need for further research to understand other factors that may affect product excellence in this industry context.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of servant leadership, organizational culture and personality on lecturer performance in the context of Bekasi City Private Universities by placing work motivation as a mediator in one fit model. This study fills the research gap, and requires repeated testing to assess the impact of leadership service, organizational culture and personality on lecturer performance from different points of view. The research tool used was a cross-sectional quantitative study with a questionnaire (survey) of 250 respondents for all Bekasi City Private University lecturers using the Structural Equation Model with a fit mediation approach to prove the role of context. This research provides empirical evidence that lecturer performance is influenced by servant leadership, organizational culture and personality with work motivation as a mediating fit. The results of this analysis include positive guidance, especially regarding the importance of the role of leaders in empowering and encouraging lecturers through active involvement with them, and the existence of positive organizational principles that improve higher education performance

Abstract

Sabun berfungsi sebagai pembersih dari kotoran dan kuman yang menempel di permukaan kulit dengan menggunakan air sebagai medianya. Sabun merupakan salah satu produk yang biasa digunakan sebagai produk kebersihan kewanitaan. Area kewanitaan merupakan area yang cukup sensitif sehingga memerlukan bahan pembersih yang tidak menyebabkan iritasi pada kulit dan sesuai dengan pH kulit pada area kewanitaan, maka dalam penelitian ini digunakan sabun berbahan herbal kewanitaan yang mempunyai sifat anti-inflamasi. efek mikroba, membersihkan dan menyehatkan kulit, seperti kombinasi kelor-lemon. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasi sabun padat berbahan dasar kelor, selanjutnya akan dilakukan uji mutu fisik sabun padat yang meliputi uji organoleptik, uji pH, serta uji stabilitas dan homogenitas busa. Daun kelor dibuat menjadi ekstrak melalui proses maserasi dengan etanol 70%, sedangkan buah lemon yang digunakan adalah sari buah lemon dari perasan buah lemon. Kemudian diformulasikan menjadi sabun padat dengan metode dingin (Cold Process) untuk Formula 1 dan Formula II dengan metode Melt and Pour. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pada sabun formula I diperoleh warna hijau muda yang lebih terang dibandingkan formula II yang mempunyai warna hijau tua. Sedangkan aroma kedua formulanya tidak terlalu menyengat namun sedikit berbau daun. Namun diantara kedua formula tersebut, formula I memiliki aroma yang lebih kuat dibandingkan formula II. Untuk bentuk yang kedua, formula sabunnya berbentuk padat. Namun jika disentuh, formula I lebih padat dibandingkan formula II. Sedangkan kadar keasaman Formula I dan Formula II sama-sama bersifat asam, untuk formula 1 rata-rata pHnya 4,3 sedangkan untuk formula 2 rata-ratanya 5,3. Jadi sabun Formula I memiliki pH yang sesuai untuk area kewanitaan, sedangkan Formula II hanya bisa digunakan untuk kebersihan kewanitaan bagian luar seperti vulva, vagina, dan tidak bisa digunakan di bagian dalam karena pH sabun tersebut. cocok untuk bagian dalam wanita, sekitar 3,5-4. .5 Pada uji stabilitas busa diperoleh stabilitas busa sesuai dengan parameter yaitu pada F1 sebesar 71% dan F2 sebesar 61%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi uji homogenitas sabun pada kedua formulasi, tidak terdapat butiran pada sabun.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of product quality, price perception, and brand image on purchases. The dependent and independent variables in this research are product quality, price perception, and brand image. Descriptive and quantitative methods were used in this research. The use of non-probability and purposeful sampling was used in this study. There were 87 participants in this study who had purchased the product. The SmartPLS test was used in this investigation. Based on the findings, 1) Purchasing decisions are influenced by the quality of a product. 2) When it comes to making purchases, price perception plays a role. 3) Purchasing decisions are influenced by the image of a brand.
