Abstract

Science education aims to convey science to students so that science can be transmitted according to its nature. Various scientific studies have been conducted to develop better teaching strategies. The research was conducted with the principle of the scientific method, experimental research design. In principle, it aims to test a treatment of research objects. In educational research, the tested treatment or learning model will be applied to the experimental group while the control group will not receive the additional treatment. Methodologically, the design is certainly in accordance with the purpose of the hypothesis. However, this will certainly be contradictive to ethical issues if the involved research objects are humans. The principle of fairness needs to be considered between the experimental group and the control group. It is guaranteed that all participants receive the same benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to study the ethical aspects of experimental research design in science education.

Abstract

The use of IT-based media in education systems has continuously risen, and the digital era has provided a great opportunity to integrate any media in the process of learning. This research will present an assessment of the role of optimized IT media in CRE at SMP N 1 Ledo. A qualitative approach with the case study method is used to gain depth into how IT media influences the learning process in this particular context. The findings of the case study reveal that IT media implementation increased both student activity and enhanced learning achievements of students in the subject of CRE. Furthermore, IT-based media make learning more interactive and fun for students; in this way, students can manage to retain concentration and sustain motivation throughout the entire learning process. Secondly, it has been indicated that IT media has to be duly developed and maintained if it is ever going to serve its full purpose in the classroom. If no support is given from time to time and technical developments are not made, the effectiveness of IT media might be rendered gradually useless. It also confirms that teachers need sufficient training and support so that they would feel confident in their contribution to students via the integration of technology into teaching. Capability of easily combining traditional approaches with the aid of digital tools generally increases the level of learning. The results of this research then demonstrate that IT media is capable of enhancing the effectiveness of Christian Religious Education, especially in making learning more interactive and fun for students. They also indicate the necessity for continuous professional development of teachers themselves so that teachers are able to keep up with the times and make use of these facilities appropriately in teaching

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menaganalisis kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap ketersediaan sumber belajar dalam menunjang implementasi Student Centre  Learning (SCL) di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Abdi Wacana Wamena. Jenis dan pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa sebanyak 89,16% (74 orang) mahasiswa merasa senang belajar jika menggunakan buku teks, modul, diktat, atau buku ajar untuk memahami materi kuliah. Ketersediaan sumber belajar yang ada masih terbatas dan belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dimana hanya 42,17% (35 orang) mahasiwa menyakan bahwa ketersediaan sumber belajar sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan kuantitas dan mutu terhadap sumber belajar berupa buku teks, diktat, buku ajar, atau ebook yang ada diperpustakaan telah memadai. Oleh karena itu, salah satu upaya yang dapat ditempuh adalah perlu dilakukan pengembangan terhadap bahan ajar dalam menyediakan sumber belajar yang memadai bagi mahasiswa untuk menunjang terlaksananya pembelajaran mandiri dimana lebih berpusat pada mahasiswa (Student Centre Learning). Hal ini didukung dari respon mahasiswa sebesar 71,08% (59 orang) yang menyatakan setuju dan merasa perlu apabila dilakukan pengembangan terhadap bahan ajar. Pengembangan bahan ajar yang memadai perlu dilakukan untuk mendukung pembelajaran mandiri berbasis SCL.

Abstract

The purpose of variable is studied by the author to find out how employee performance MR. DIY Bekasi City is influenced by organizational culture, work motivation, and organizational communication. This study uses a combination of survey methodology and correlational approach. The research sample of 100 employees was selected randomly. Information was obtained from questionnaire data. The results of the multiple regression analysis were carried out using SPSS. Classical assumption tests, such as multicollinearity and normality tests, were used in the data analysis procedure. such as normality and multicollinearity tests, were used in the data analysis procedure. The statistical tests are multiple regression, correlation coefficient test, and hypothesis. The results of the hypothesis test indicate a fairly large relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with many natural and man-made tourist destinations, especially the South Tapanuli region which has marine, natural and man-made tourist destinations that are attractive and worth visiting for domestic and foreign tourists. In 2023, the number of tourists visiting South Tapanuli will be 422,688 people. This research aims to estimate or predict the number of tourists visiting South Tapanuli in the next 6 years using the Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) method with amortized parameters. Double exponential smoothing (DES) is a forecasting method by predicting time series data with a trend model. To overcome overprediction, an attenuating parameter is added which can reduce the estimated value exponentially. This research also aims to compare the estimated number of tourists in South Tapanuli Regency using the T test. This research shows that the estimated number of tourists coming to South Tapanuli Regency in the next six years will increase. For the t test carried out, the results obtained were tcount < ttable (2.014 < 2.015).

Abstract

The Effectiveness of Using POM-QM For Windows 3 in Cooperative Model Type STAD on Mathematics Learning at Grade XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 9 Gowa. Thesis. Mathematics and Science Faculty. State University of Makassar. Advisers: Prof. Suradi, MS, and Dr. Muhammad Darwis, M.Pd. This research was Pre Experiment Research, which aimed to find out the effectiveness of using software POM-QM For Windows 3 in cooperative model type STAD on learning mathematics at grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Gowa. Experimental unit in this study consisted of students in grade XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 9 Gowa to be given preferential treatment in the form of learning by using software POM-QM For Windows 3. The sample in this research was the class XI IPA 3 that consists of 35 students with material was linear programming. This research was carried out during the 6 meeting that consists of 1 meeting of the pretest, 1 meeting of the posttest and 4 meeting of the preferential treatment in the form of learning by using software POM-QM For Windows 3 in learning mathematics. Data retrieval was performed using sheet of observations, the learning achievement test and student response questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results achieved after using the software POM-QM For Windows 3 in mathematical learning, with the content linear programming were: (1) the mean of student learning achievement test is of as ideal score; (2) Student classical exhaustiveness is ; (3) the mean value of the normalized gain is in the high category; (4) Mean score of student posttest learning achievement is significantly less than ; (5) Mean of student learning achievement improvement is significantly greater than ; (6) the mean of student learning activity is or is the active category; (7) the mean score of student response is in tend to be positive category; (8) The indicator score (criteria) general effectiveness is with quite effective category. In general it can be concluded that the application of learning by using software POM-QM For Windows 3 in cooperative model type STAD on learning mathematics is effective for use in students of grade XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 9 Gowa according to learning achievement, student activity and student response to content linear programming because be quite effective category.

Abstract

An Islamic Education teacher needs to support the implementation of a contemporary learning concept by providing facilities and learning media that can meet students' learning needs. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Operant Conditioning theory through Kahoot interactive game in PAI Lesson at SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai. This research is based on descriptive qualitative approach using case study method. The research location is SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique of this research uses the Miles et al approach which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The implementation of Operant Conditioning theory through Kahoot interactive games in PAI lessons at SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai starts from the preparation of learning designs and teaching materials that meet the needs of students. In the learning process, PAI teachers gradually provide positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, perform response shaping and extinction steps in order to get the expected behavior change.The results of the implementation of this theory through Kahoot interactive games are that students are more enthusiastic in learning, more motivated, grow confidence and desire to be actively involved, and learning becomes more fun.

Abstract

This research focuses on the legal protection for honorary teachers whose rights are not fulfilled in private schools. Honorary teachers, often employed on a non-permanent basis, are vulnerable to not receiving their entitled rights, such as salaries, social security, and other benefits. Despite their significant role in the education system, particularly in private institutions, the lack of legal protection often leads to exploitation and adverse working conditions. The aim of this study is to examine the legal framework governing the rights of honorary teachers in Indonesia, with a specific focus on private schools. It explores the extent to which these teachers are protected under Indonesian labor laws and educational regulations, particularly the Education Law and the Labor Law. This study also investigates the challenges honorary teachers face in asserting their rights and the mechanisms available for them to seek redress. Using a qualitative approach, the research analyzes case studies, legal documents, and interviews with both teachers and school administrators to understand the situation. The findings highlight gaps in the enforcement of legal protections, with many teachers unaware of their rights or too vulnerable to challenge non-compliance. This study concludes that honorary teachers in private schools require stronger legal protections to ensure their rights are fulfilled. Recommendations include improved awareness programs for both teachers and administrators, the strengthening of legal frameworks, and better enforcement mechanisms to prevent the exploitation of these educators. Legal reform and policy adjustments are necessary to provide honorary teachers with adequate protection, promoting fair and just working conditions in the education sector.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran PAI diperlukan integrasi strategi dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual kekinian supaya mampu menyentuh aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, maupun afektif sehingga peserta didik dapat mengamalkan nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan model tadabbur alam dalam pembelajaran PAI, khususnya pada jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus yang bertempat di SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai, Kabupaten Kepahiang, Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Miles et al yang terdiri dari tiga komponen utama yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, minat belajar, serta penguatan karakter peserta didik, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan berupa pengelolaan kelas, cuaca, dan keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memperoleh simpulan bahwa Implementasi strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan model tadabbur alam pada pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SD Negeri 08 Tebat Karai berusaha membentuk karakter islami peserta didik melalui pendekatan kontekstual berbasis lingkungan. Strategi ini mengintegrasikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, seperti diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk, dengan sintaks model pembelajaran tadabbur alam, mulai dari pengenalan materi, pengumpulan data melalui eksplorasi alam, hingga perenungan dan pengamalan nilai-nilai PAI

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and investigate the student’ reading comprehension through the use of extensive reading in teaching at MTs. Fatahillah, South Jakarta. This research use qualitative research method which its approach is case study. The researcher use questionnaires and interview as the instruments of this research. Twenty four students as participants in this research. Based on the findings it is shown that participants feel anxious if they don't know all the words. They also feel anxious if they are not sure whether they understood what they read. Second, all of the participants agreed to think that reading is useful to shape personality. But they think they still cannot read quickly and their reading ability is still not advanced, even though half of them think they read a lot already. In conclusion, first teachers should give students friendly environment for students to read relax and comfort. Second, teachers need to influence the students’ habits and attitudes toward English reading by facilitating them interesting books such as comics and novels regularly. Third, parents or elder relative encourages students to engage in a large amount of reading books at home.
