Abstract

Like other educators, school counselors initially responded to the Covid-19 crisis with confusion and uncertainty, for which they needed solutions with collaboration and innovation. In schools with a framework used to focus on the 'whole child.' MTSS supports academic growth and achievement, but also supports many other areas. MTSS is a holistic learning approach to support students through large-scale life changes due to the global pandemic. The pandemic is prompting school counselors to turn to virtual tools to engage with and track students and families. School counselors make use of certain technological tools, but also offer some caveats about their use. During the pandemic, school counselors are expected to provide comprehensive services to students and families, and instead step into a leadership role that allows them to provide comprehensive virtual social-emotional and academic learning in counseling services to their students. The need for school counselors to stay connected to students during COVID-19 through providing virtual advice, providing virtual counseling (individual and/or group): trauma care, cyberbullying, managing expectations, paying attention to burnout, and managing burnout. For the future of students, meet students wherever they are while respecting digital security, cyberbullying, and protecting student privacy, and taking care to ensure confidentiality.

Abstract

Gender equality is still an interesting issue to be discussed today. Most people, especially those living in various regions in Indonesia, still misinterpret this. Gender equality is seen as an act that puts women first. In Christian circles, this thought is caused by Christian leaders in the past who gave teachings about gender who had unfair treatment between men and women. To provide a solution to these problems, the author uses qualitative research with the literature study method. The author finds that, gender is a characteristic that can be exchanged between each other and can be shared by both. Allah distinguishes the sexes but does not differentiate between the roles of the two. Thus, PAK plays a vital role in building gender understanding in the family and community, especially in the field of education, and in the field of education.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of student motivation in following Christian Religious Education subjects. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the effect of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournamnet type on the motivation to learn Christian Religious Education in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Simbuang Tana Toraja. The author uses the method of distributing questionnaires to 20 students in the form of open statements and open interviews to 10 students. The purpose of conducting interviews is to strengthen the results of the questionnaires distributed and direct observations. From the correlation results of data analysis using SPSS, it shows that the team games tournament type cooperative learning model has an effect on students' intrinsic motivation with a significant result, namely 0.671 which is in a strong/high relationship, while the Teams Games Tournament on extrinsic motivation gets a significant result, namely 0.479 which is at moderate/moderate relationship. Students' learning motivation increases both intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that the team games tournament type cooperative learning model has an effect on students' learning motivation.

Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, distance or online learning has become the primary method used by the government, in this case the Ministry of Education and Culture, to prevent the increasing number of Covid-19 viruses and the emergence of clusters in schools. In online learning, PAK teachers in their multifunctional role need to apply contextual learning strategies so that teaching and learning activities can take place in a systematic, directed, unobstructed, effective and efficient manner and can achieve educational targets. Contextual learning is a learning strategy that emphasizes the process of student involvement to achieve goals associated with real-life situations. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and data collection is done by interview and documentation as well as relevant literature. The results of the study on some high achieving students' motivation and interest in learning increased with the online learning method after the Christian Religious Education teacher carried out the role optimally by using contextual learning strategies.

Abstract

The role of parents is a determining element of student success during the Covid-19 pandemic. Achieving success in children's education cannot be separated from the vital role of parents, who are the primary source in children's education. The research question is: What is parents' role in Christian Religious Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 02 Kalirejo in the 2019/2020 academic year? The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that parents act as teachers, motivators, facilitators, and mentors. Then it was also found that not all parents of students have played their role in the distance learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is due to several factors, including an incomplete understanding of the role of parents in the distance learning process; minimal socialization about the role of parents in distance learning either from schools or educators; distance learning is new for parents; working parents cause the time allocation to be minimal.
