<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss technological disruptions that need to be addressed by Christian education teachers with adequate competence. Apparently, the rapid development of technology has created a dilemma for some Christian education teachers in Indonesia because they do not yet have adequate digital competence. Therefore, the qualitative method and the literature approach along with the thought analysis step are used to explore theoretical aspects and empirical facts. This is the effort made in several literatures such as books and journals. The results show that Christian religious education teachers should continue to improve their competence, including digital, spiritual and multiliteracy competencies that are responsive to the influence of Post-Truth in the era of technological disruption. Furthermore, Christian education teachers are responsible for utilizing the development of information technology, optimistic in increasing digital competence, in order to concretize the principles of multiliteracy education in a critical-reflective and effective manner on a variety of information for students in relation to the existence and social relations of a pluralistic society.]]>

<![CDATA[Restricting the space for the freedom of other religions to become an issue that continues to surface until now, and this has damaged the fact of plurality. Coexistence among religious adherents is a serious problem characterized by fanatical attitudes that isolate religious adherents for theological reasons. This then led to religious warnings that propagated in various sectors of human life including education. To overcome this problem, the purpose of this research is to provide space for theology to exist through the role of Christian education to shake up the space of isolation which continues to narrow relations between religious adherents. The method used in this research is content analysis concerning texts related to research topics in the form of journal articles, books, and online media which are selected according to research interests. The result of this study is that the role of education is needed as a vehicle for educating the intelligence of religious adherents in realizing theology both explicitly and implicitly in a pluralistic society. Through educated people, the isolation space can be shaken, and theology can exist creatively and proportionately in caring for the diversity of religious life.]]>

<![CDATA[Exemplary is a person's attitude in setting an example through good actions so that they can be role models for other. Christian Education (CE) teacher must be role models for students as well as for the community to be able to apply in daily life what is taught in classroom through words, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity of life. In addition, CE teacher must meet the personality competencies of teachers, namely: they must be patient, honest, disciplined and fair. The formulation of the problem in this study is how students perceive the example of CE teachers. The purpose of the study was to describe students' perceptions of the example of CE teachers. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. From the results of the study, it was concluded that based on student perceptions, CE teacher have become role models in several ways and have not become role models for several other things.]]>

<![CDATA[With the special conditions of adults, teaching them needs to be based on appropriate practical principles. Although not the dominant determinant, educators still need to master it properly to be successful in accompanying adults in learning. Therefore it is necessary to study practical principles for the teacher in teaching adults. Through a literature review, an analysis and synthesis of previous findings has been carried out. At least there are six affective principles that need to be considered, namely recognizing them as adults, paying attention to their experiences, understanding their needs, understanding their goals, strengthening their motivation, appreciating the uniqueness of each individual, and giving roles in the main group. Teachers manage adult study groups keeping in mind their independent, personal and experienced features. If the practical principles of the application will increase the effectiveness of interpersonal relationships that respect each other and a conducive adult learning atmosphere.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem of this article is discussing the importance of Philip Yancey's Christological views applied in efforts to educate Christians in their faith which is centred on Christ. The purpose of this article is to explain Yancey's thoughts about the figure of Jesus who changes the lives of believers to become like Him. The method used is literature study. The results show that Yancey's thoughts about the characteristics of Jesus were not to stimulate objective academic-dogmatic thinking, but rather to present personal reflections as a journalist in order to reveal the identity of the Nazarene Youth through the literature he wrote. The Jesus he knew was a figure who changed him and would also change every person who met personally with the Son of God. Yancey tries to develop a new synthesis regarding the character and profile of Jesus and encourages readers to welcome Jesus as the authority over human life. Yancey's ideas about the figure of Jesus can be used as material for Christian faith education for the maturation of believers' faith. In conclusion, people who know and believe in Jesus personally are guaranteed to experience renewal of life and become like Him.]]>

<![CDATA[2030 is fast approaching, and Indonesia will experience a demographic bonus. The Church and the State can work together to prepare the youth generation to be leaders in the future. This research aims to prepare the youth generation as leaders with Christian character and resilience in the face of Indonesia's demographic bonus in 2030 and how strategies for coaching. This research was conducted using a qualitative research method or literature study. The result of this research is that the church prepares the younger generation as leaders; the strategies that can be used to develop leaders with Christian character include firstly, disciplining leaders, secondly assisting (mentoring), thirdly practising serving a small flock, fourthly experiencing the baptism of the Holy Spirit, fifthly equipping leaders with counselling skills and sixth involving leaders in solving problems in the surrounding environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Christian education is always meant to transform the lives of the students. However, the understanding of the superiority of ratio becomes the base of most educational practices, including Christian education. This understanding makes ratio the only aspect accommodated in a learning process. Nevertheless, the ratio is not the only aspect that needs to be accommodated by Christian education; there is also an extra-rational aspect that also plays a huge part in human life. Referring to the transformative learning theory by Jack Mezirow, reflective thinking is the key to transformative learning, which is very much influenced by human imagination. Amid the controversy about the destructive characteristic of imagination, imagination takes a massive role in transformative learning. The Christian perspective is also rooting for the use of imagination that is constructive in a learning process. So, the use of imagination in the right way is very effective in achieving transformative learning in Christian education.]]>

<![CDATA[Pluralism cannot be separated from Indonesian society, pluralism is a color in society. In society the issue of peace is an issue that cannot be separated from the role of a religious institution, including the church. Peace is the responsibility of the whole society, even a pluralistic society, including the church. The role of the church is very vital in impacting peace. The church is in the midst of a pluralistic society, so the church is directly involved in teaching peace in a pluralistic society. Of the several cases of conflict that have occurred in Indonesia, the church has played an important role in peace, namely teaching tolerance and teaching the importance of living in peace. The formulation of the problem in this research is what are the roles of the church in teaching peace missions in a pluralistic society? The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the church in teaching peace missions in a pluralistic society. the method used is library research with a descriptive approach. The role of the church in teaching peace in a pluralistic society is: teaching tolerance, teaching the importance of living in peace and living in love.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning methods for teenagers in the church are often equated with learning methods for children. If it is differentiated, it is a kind of modification of the teaching model of children. The teachers are not treating teenagers according to their abilities and needs. Based on the context of the teenagers at GMIT Kalvari, Maumere, this research wants to reveal the extent to which the learning methods used so far are friendly or unfriendly to the teenager group of Generation Z. The research method used is qualitative research using structured interviews to the groups of teacher and teenager and review on the teaching material document "Derap Remaja" that is used in 2022. By using the theory of learning models of Sara Little and generation theory of Gen Z foranalyze the context, results show that teenager-friendly learning is an urgent need because one-way teaching patterns are still strong enough to dominate the teenager learning model at GMIT Kalvari. Therefore, this paper proposes three principles and practical aspects related to the teenager learning methods, which are responsive and dialogical methods that go beyond the monologue one, the active involvement of teenagers in the learning process, and learning process that encourage the teenager to do something in their real life]]>
