Aksara: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia
Aksara merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Batanghari dan Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Batanghari. Jurnal ini merupakan jurnal penelitian yang mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian asli, studi kepustakaan, dan tulisan terkait dengan fokus pada kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, kajian bahasa dan kajian sastra. Semua artikel ditinjau oleh 4 orang reviewer, 2 orang reviewer internal dan 2 orang reviewer eksternal. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun setiap bulan April dan bulan September, jurnal aksara ini dapat diakses pembaca, jurnal aksara ini berisi hasil penelitian pustaka maupun hasil penelitian lapangan. Jurnal ini meliputi beberapa ranah Ilmu sebagai berikut: 1. Kajian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia meliputi bidang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik serta pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa, pembelajaran fiksi, pembelajaran drama. 2. Kajian Bahasa Indonesia meliputi: fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, analisis wacana, semantik, pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, bahasa dan budaya, dialektologi, dokumentasi bahasa, serta bidang keilmuan lain yang berkaitan dengan kajian kebahasaan. 3. Kajian Sastra Indonesia meliputi: sastra lisan dan sastra modern berupa kajian puisi, prosa fiksi dan drama.

This descriptive research produces data in the form of qualitations. Descriptive research is a study that can solve data by describing. <![CDATA[The research aims to describe the rhetorical tactics used by Najwa Shihab on the Mata Najwa talk show program that aired on one of Indonesia’s private television stations, Metro TV. This type of research is qualitative research analyzed by descriptive method. The data type is qualitative data which is the result of conversation transcript of the Mata Najwa talk show Sang Penantang episode which aired on Metro TV. As for data collection technique used is a listening technique with data collection instruments in the form of field records. Based on the findings and analysis, it can be drawn to the conclusion that the rhetorical tactics used by Najwa Shihab in the Mata Najwa on Sang Penantang episode are affirmation and offensive tactics. The affirmation tactive is used by Najwa Shihab to ask questions that are explaining something or asking for approval from the source. "The affirmation tactics used by Najwa Shihab in this program include ""yes"", repeat tactics, togetherness tactics and compromise tactics." Offensive tactics are used by Najwa Shihab to dig up information that is justification, defense and recognition. Offensive tactics used include anticipation tactics, surprising tactics, asking back tactics, provocation tactics, encompassing tactics and overestimating tactics]]>

<![CDATA[Language is an element that plays an important role in communication between communities. The role of language as a means of communication in society is also bilingualism. Bilingualism itself means that a person can use two languages or two language codes. Therefore, in daily activities it is not uncommon for someone to do code mixing and code switching in their utterances. As is the case with the biggest cooking competition in Indonesia, MasterChef Indonesia. Apart from being a bilingual community, the MasterChef Indonesia competition program is internationally based, adapted from the Australian MasterChef event. Through this research, it will be explained how the use of code mixing and code switching that occurs in MasterChef Indonesia Season 9 2022 broadcasts on the MasterChef Indonesia YouTube Channel.]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is the increase use of hyperbola style in J.S. Khairen’s novel which is quite interesting to the writer because it tells about the lives of students who struggle for the future despite being forced to study on an unknown private campus. This research aims to describe the forms of hyperbole style and the meaning of hyperbole style in the novel Kami Bukan Sarjana Kertas by J.S. Khairen. The approach used is descriptive related to the study and focuses on the forms of hyperbole occurred in the novel. The technique used is the document technique with the approach of content analysis as a data analysis technique. Based on data analysis found that the nove obtained forms of hyperbole style with quite a lot of, namely, numbering as many as 71 quotes. Furthermore, the style of hyperbole has a very important role in the story of Kami Bukan Sarjana Kertas by J.S. Khairen, namely the style of writing, giving a certain emphasis on the problems that J.S. Khairen wants to convey as a novel author, strengthening the impression for the reader on an event or character of the characters in the story, bringing the story to life and beautifying the story in the novel.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to reveal how someone’s psychological state using the humanistic psychology approach of Abraham Maslow, the physiological needs, the safety needs, the belongingness and love needs, the esteem needs, and the needs for self-actualization. The data source of this research is a novel entitled “Kata” by Rintik Sedu published by Gagas Media. The focus of this research object is on humanistic psychology analysis, especially at the level of hierarchical needs. This research achievement comes from the novel “Kata” by Rintik Sedu using qualitative descriptive methods, with steps including reading and noting, data reduction, data categories, and corpus data. The results show that there are five levels or hierarchies of Abraham Maslow’s humanistic psychological needs that exist in the main character of “Kata” novel by Rintik Sedu.]]>

<![CDATA[In its development, Indonesian is inseparable from the influence of foreign languages. There are many words in the Indonesian language that come from other languages, which are then used by the community for daily language activities in Indonesian. The word is also called the term absorption word. This research aims to analyze phoneme changes through the writing of vowel and consonant phonemes and describe foreign language absorption words into Indonesian, this research focuses on Dutch as a foreign language that is absorbed into Indonesian. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method and also comparative linguistic approach. Therefore, this research will describe Dutch and Indonesian in detail. The data in this research is in the form of Dutch and Indonesian vocabulary. The data sources are Dutch dictionary and Indonesian dictionary. The data in this study were obtained using documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques. The results of this study show that there are changes in phonemes, namely changes in vowel phonemes and consonant phonemes which are characterized by changes in letters and pronunciation and there is also absorption of Dutch in Indonesian.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to describe the character values of the figures in the collection of Siulak Regional Folklore, Kerinci Regency by Zarmoni. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are in the form of excerpts of sentences in which there are character values in the collection of Siulak Regional Folklore, Kerinci Regency by Zarmoni. The approach that the writer will use in this research is a structural approach. The results of this study can be concluded that the findings in the form of quotations consist of 54 quotations in which there are character values of figures who use the theory of the Ministry of National Education. There are 27 quotes of the character values of religious figures, there are 13 quotes of the character values of social care figures, there are 9 quotes of the character values of the people of responsibility and there are 5 quotes of the values of the character of hard work in the Siulak Regional Folklore of Kerinci Regency by the writer Zarmoni found.]]>

<![CDATA[The research entitled structural analysis of the short story Lebaran Kali ini Aku Pulang by M. Aan Mansyur aims to describe the cohesiveness of the instrinsic elements contained in the story by utilizing structural analysis. The short story was studied using data collection methods, namely, reading the short story “Lebaran Kali ini Aku Pulang” reputedly and intensively, determining and studying the instrinsic elements of the short story and then describing or describing the unity between its elements. So, thet the instrinsic elements (theme, setting, characters, point of view, mandate) produce elements that are interrelated with one another.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is to examine the contrastive form of verb affixation, describe verb affixation, and find the differences and similarities between Serang Javanese and Indonesian. The purpose of this research is to easing language learning so that it can optimally avoid interference. This research uses qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive method. The data collection in this research is made by listening, reading and comprehending then doing note-taking technique which is recording the findings of verb affixation in dictionary or daily conversation. The theory used is the theory of contrastive analysis by comparing B-1 and B-2 to find similarities and differences. The result shows that there are similarities and differences between verb affixation in Serang Javanese and Indonesian. One of the similarities occurs in the prefix {di-}, and the differences are found in the prefixes {tak-} and {ke-}. The prefixes {nge-}, {ng-}, {ny}, and {N-} in Serang Javanese can be matched in form and meaning with the prefix {me-} in Indonesian which means active verb or expresses an action.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to examine the development and progress of literature, especially in the cyber realm. This proves that cyber literature makes it possible and easier for a writer to publish his work, both novice writers and writers. The ease of accessing literary works in the digital realm certainly makes literary works have countless numbers. Therefore, literature can be divided into two types, namely serious literature and entertainment or popular literature. Serious literature is literature that is closely related to the reality of human life, making readers guess and interpret the meaning of the reading. With the existence of literature in the cyber realm, serious literature as well as its authors are present in various platforms ranging from social media to websites and reading applications in the literature category. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with the intention of providing a firm description and illustration accompanied by the reality and evidence of the problem under study. The results of this study show that serious literature is quite popular among readers, especially among adults and the elderly. Meanwhile, young people tend to prefer literature with popular genres because it offers stories that always end happily with a simple plot]]>
