Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to develop a website-based learning media that is useful in the use of guidance implementation and makes it easier for students to get information about careers easily. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The research subjects were selected through sampling on students using a purposive technique which in the end obtained students who matched the needs of the sample, namely the lack of students in understanding careers. Data analysis used quantitative data analysis which was then analyzed descriptively. The results of the research that have been carried out have received an assessment of 95.4% from material experts and 98.4% from media experts. In the pretest, 9 students were obtained, then the treatment and posttest were carried out afterwards, the average result was a 28% increase in career understanding. It can be concluded that website-based learning media regarding career information can help students in increasing students' career understanding

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecanduan gawai pada mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek 300 mahasiswa semester 5 dari 18 jurusan yang ada di FKIP. Data diperoleh dari pengisian kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui Google Formulir dengan perolehan data dari setiap aspek, yaitu pada aspek Inability to control craving diperoleh sebesar 56% dengan kategori rendah. Anxiety and feeling lost diperoleh sebesar 79% dengan kategori tinggi. Pada aspek Withdrawal and escape diperoleh sebesar 42% dengan kategori sedang. Dan pada aspek Productivity loss diperoleh sebesar 53% dengan kategori tinggi.Kata Kunci : Nomophobia, Gawai, Mahasiswa

Abstract

College students are in a transition period from late adolescence to adulthood or called early adulthood. Unstable early adulthood can cause emotional tension, especially for thesis writing college students. Coping strategy that focuses on emotion or emotion focused coping is one of the treatments that can reduce college student stress when compiling a thesis. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of Emotional Focused Coping in college students who are preparing a thesis. The reason for doing this research is as a source of information for lecturers, counselors or college students to provide mentoring activities in order to prevent stress on college students in the preparation of the thesis. And can provide some counseling services for college students who are experiencing stress in the preparation of the thesis. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. Based on the results of research that has been done, the description of emotional focused coping on Guidance and Counseling Untirta students at most tends to be quite good at 72% or as many as 64 college students from 89 college student samples. 27% or 24 college students were in the good category of emotional focused coping and 1% or 1 college student was in the bad category. Abstract

This research was conducted at SMPN Manarai no 18 Kepulauan Selayar. The purpose of this study was to analyze Teacher's Teaching Style in online learning at SMPN Manarai no 18 Kepulauan Selayar. The type of research used was qualitative research. The subject in this study was the teacher. as for the data collection in this study are interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data in this study is triangulation of sources.The results of this study are that when teaching online, Class IX B teachers have taught well, but because learning is carried out online, students sometimes become bored, Class XI B teachers also often provide motivation and use variations in styles when teaching online so that students become participative. but the activeness of the students is not clearly visible, and the variation in voice is also not clearly described because the learning process is carried out online and is limited, besides that the class IX B teacher uses a variety of media but there are still limitations of the media used during online learning. Class IX B teachers also give practical assignments to make paper flower crafts during online learning, and the teaching styles used by Class IX B teachers are demonstration teaching style, practice teaching style, and assignment teaching style

Abstract

Readiness of Samarinda City as a buffer area (hinter land) of East Kalimantan Province in terms of Education Infrastructure in welcoming the National Capital in 2024. This study uses a qualitative confirmatory approach. This research departs from an established and formal theory as a basis for making decisions. Data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. This study specifically discusses regional strengthening, especially the city of Samarinda as a buffer for the candidate for the state capital in East Kalimantan, this study is very important because the existence of the State Capital must receive support from the surrounding buffer areas, in terms of Currently, the cities that serve as other buffer zones are the City of Sepaku, North Penajam Paser Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Balikpapan City and Tanah Grogot City, Paser Regency. To strengthen the existence of buffer zones, especially the city of Samarinda, of course there must be a strategy that is applied, namely strengthening of capability and capacity (capacity building) which is carried out through the development of educational infrastructure, economic infrastructure, defense and security, politics, social, culture and local wisdom that applies throughout the country. East Kalimantan. From the description above, the big role of the buffer zone/hinter land can be described as follows: (1) Center for economic growth (2) Center for defense and security (3) Center for settlements (4) Center for food security (5) Center for education (6) Center for Agriculture (7) Plantation center (8) Fishery center (9) Industry center (10) Trade center (11) Growth center for growing area (12) Transportation center (13) Health center (14) Hygiene center (15) Recreation center And others. At a macro level, that Samarinda City as a buffer area is actually not ready to make Samarinda as a buffer zone for the state capital and efforts are needed to welcome the state capital, especially Samarinda city as a hinter land area/buffer area so that it can really contribute to development in all fields, especially education. Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most essential subjects in high school (SMA). With the low level of student's understanding of Mathematics in class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda, researchers consider it necessary to conduct research to improve learning. Learning improvement is carried out through classroom action research (CAR) with 2 cycles, each consisting of 3 meetings. The learning activities were carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda Class XI MIPA 3, totalling 36 students, consisting of 11 students. This classroom action research was conducted with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in even-semester Mathematics subjects, especially on Tangent Lines and Polynomials by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. After improving learning, student learning outcomes showed an increase. This is shown from the data collected, from data processing obtained 10 students (27.78%) completed learning with an average score of 54.17 in the pre-cycle, to 28 students (77.78%) completed learning with a grade of an average of 74.03 in the first cycle, and 35 students (97.22%) completed their studies with an average score of 80.83 in the second cycle. That is, from the pre-cycle to the first cycle of students who finished studying increased by 18 students and from the first cycle to the second cycle of students who completed learning increased by 7 students. Students complete learning in the sense of getting a value of 70, this 70 is the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). From the data obtained and calculations, it can be concluded that: "The application of the Discovery Learning Learning Model can improve learning outcomes for Even Semester Mathematics Students in class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda in the academic year 2021 - 2022. Abstract

This study uses a descriptive qualitative type of research and data collection used by researchers is to conduct in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that the application of the SIMDA Finance application is very helpful in achieving the target to generate finance quickly, and accurately. So that the success of implementing a program can be seen from the point of achieving the goals obtained by paying attention to the outputs generated from the program. So that it can facilitate the management of education costs and then used and allocated according to the needs and activities of the school. Abstract

Situasi pandemi yang mengubah secara keseluruhan metode pembelajaran di pendidikan tinggi ini membutuhkan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk mampu bertahan dalam segala situasi. Kemampuan ini disebut resiliensi akademik. Resiliensi akademik merupakan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk menangani kesulitan serta stres yang dialami pada konteks akademik, misalnya tekanan serta stres dalam menghadapi ujian dan kesulitan dalam mengerjakan tugas. Beberapa penelitian menemukan bahwa mahasiswa yang resilien memiliki self-efficacy yang tinggi, kegigihan dan kemampuan perencanaan, serta memiliki kecemasan yang rendah. Academic self-efficacy adalah keyakinan individu mengenai kemampuan dan kesanggupan yang dimiliki sebagai mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan mencapai tujuan akademik tertentu. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru PAUD Universitas Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda yang berstatus sebagai mahasiswa aktif sebanyak 35 mahasiswa. Pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua instrumen, yaitu The Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) dan College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara resiliensi akademik dan academic self-efficacy pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru PAUD (r=0,199, p=0,251).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the function of Guidance and Counseling Services for Elementary School Students in Samarinda. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, using teachers and students as informants. Then the data analysis was carried out with several stages such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on the data that had been collected. Based on the research that has been carried out, it was found that the Guidance and Counseling function was carried out by class teachers according to the points of the guidance and counseling function, but there was one point that was not implemented, namely the distribution function due to Covid-19.

Abstract

Students in completing their studies will have an obligation to complete their final assignment, either in the form of a thesis or an article. Writing is an activity that cannot be avoided by students because writing is part of the many tasks that students will complete. As for what is meant by an idea, namely the opinion, experience and knowledge of the author. Either obtained in the past from his own experience, or in the present through literature review. The Academic Writing Workshop will be held with the aim of improving students' writing skills in thesis and scientific journals. It is hoped that this activity will make it easier for students of the Pg Paud UWGM Samarinda Study Program to put their ideas and thoughts into writing. In this study using a quasi-experimental method, this method was used because in reality it was difficult to get a control group used in the study. Not all variables and experimental conditions can be tightly regulated and controlled. The pretest was given before the workshop was held, the results of the analysis of student self-regulation questionnaire data obtained the highest score of 119 and the lowest score of 90 with a range of values โ€‹โ€‹of 29, mean 106.69, standard deviation 6993. In the posttest given after the workshop was carried out, the highest score was 122 and the lowest score was 93, with a range of values โ€‹โ€‹29, mean 107.61, standard deviation 7.068. This research was conducted in 3 meetings in the same group. The population of this research is Pg Paud Uwgm Samarinda students who will carry out their final assignment on the UWGM Samarinda campus.
