Abstract

Based on Law Number 57 of 2021 concerning Teacher Performance Standards, National Education aims to educate the nation by improving the quality of teachers, therefore there is a need for teacher performance assessments that aim to determine the ability or expertise of each teacher so that teachers can carry out their duties professionally. Teacher performance is an achievement that can be measured through predetermined and mutually agreed standards. Teacher Performance Standards are related to the quality of teachers in carrying out their duties such as being a teacher who makes students feel at home in class, understanding preparation and design of learning assessments, being able to apply interesting and not boring learning media, being able to create a lively classroom atmosphere by involving students in various activities. learning experience and being a strict teacher when learning is not appropriate. This article aims to explain the importance of teacher performance and motivation to achieve teacher performance appraisal. Teaching is a noble job, because the teaching profession is very well known among the public for its patience in dealing with students. There are several obstacles or obstacles in assessing teacher performance, one of which is an unclear standard due to inconsistent and changing standards so that it can affect teacher achievement. In addition to obstacles, there are opportunities for teacher performance, namely the achievement of teacher quality so that it can be said to be a professional teacher. Teacher Performance Assessment can improve the ability of teachers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is First, to describe the implementation of recitation of the Qur'an at MIN Blitar City. Second, to analyze the effectiveness of learning tilawati al-Qur'an at MIN Blitar City. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects were school principals, vice principals, Al-Qur'an teachers, and students. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. Data validity uses credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability techniques. The data were then analyzed in stages, namely data display, and data reduction. The research results show that; First, learning the tilawati Qur'an which is done offline every day before formal learning is carried out by integrating the schedule. Wisdom learning tilawati al-Qur'an is intended to improve the ability to read the Koran properly and correctly. For this reason, ustadzah al-Qur'an must have standard qualifications, including reading fluently and hafiz. Second, learning the Qur'an is carried out effectively.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of improving the performance of cooperatives that can give a positive impact in achieving the objectives of the cooperative. Through performance measurement, cooperatives are encouraged to try to provide good value for organizational activities, business, and improve service cooperatives to its members and the community. When the competence of individual, work motivation, employee satisfaction is low then cooperative members, it’s can not provide maximum service and indirectly it will affect the performance of the cooperative. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect individual competence, work motivation, and employee satisfaction on the performance of cooperatives in Bandar Mataram District, Central Lampung.

Abstract

Public service is a product of public bureaucracy that is accepted by users and the wider community. Therefore, public service can be defined as a series of activities carried out by the public bureaucracy, for example making identity cards, birth certificates and so on. Improvements to public services, especially in education, will improve and be more equitable. This is due to many limitations, both in terms of education budget, teaching staff, facilities such as school buildings, libraries, laboratories and scholarships for the poor. Therefore, it is hoped that educational services can be felt equally by the community in meeting their basic needs. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of visual aids in the science subject Physics about sound in elementary schools. This study used a qualitative approach using the library research method, data collection techniques using observation (text study), and documentation. In the data analysis technique, the researcher used Source Triangulation. The results showed that students' learning motivation had a significant effect on science learning outcomes. Online learning and learning motivation simultaneously contribute 15.9% to the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in elementary schools. In addition, there is a positive correlation between students' learning motivation and science learning achievement, with the magnitude of the correlation at a significant level.

Abstract

Various approaches are needed to reflect the universal values of the Quran in diverse societal contexts. This research aims to depict the use of textual, contextual, and hermeneutical approaches in understanding the Quran, as an effort to comprehend the text within the appropriate context of people's lives. The textual approach primarily focuses on grammatical analysis and literal understanding, while the contextual approach involves understanding the extratextual elements and their connection to the situations and conditions during the revelation of the Quran. The hermeneutical approach emphasizes understanding the text and interpreting its meanings, while recognizing the importance of social, political, cultural, and historical contexts in understanding cultural phenomena. Contextual hermeneutics emphasizes the relationship between the text and the surrounding world.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the learning of Islamic Religious Education with the use of power point-based media at Surya Menang Elementary School. This research was conducted at Surya Menang State Elementary School, in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Source of data in this study using primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques by interviews, while data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the research data is the source triangulation method. The results of the research, namely at Surya Menang State Elementary School, it can be seen that learning using power point-based media can improve the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education material. Based on the development of learning activities and learning outcomes that were seen during the research, all of them have increased to trigger the enthusiasm and willingness of students to learn and learn Islamic Religious Education materials will also be liked so that they are easily understood and understood by students. This quality improvement can be seen in the process and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education materials.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are defined as conditions in the learning process which are characterized by the existence of certain obstacles in achieving learning outcomes. In the Al-Islam subject, especially in Al-Qur'an Hadith material, there are students who find it difficult to memorize the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. This shows that students have learning difficulties. Therefore it is necessary to carry out research to find out the factors that cause students' difficulties in memorizing the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, with primary data namely students and teachers of Al-Islam subjects. Secondary data sources, such as school documents and archives. This study uses data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation. The guarantor of the validity of the data used is technical triangulation. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research on students' difficulties in memorizing the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, it is known that the students' interest in memorizing is low, the ability to read the Al-Qur'an is low, they feel bored, and the verses and hadiths that are memorized are too long. Then the lack of parental involvement in their children's learning process, the many assignments given by the teacher make it difficult for students to divide their time to do assignments and memorize the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The efforts made in overcoming the difficulties of memorizing students by trying to repeat each verse and hadith that are being memorized, following the BTQ subject, then the efforts of the Al-Islam subject teacher invite students to read the verses and hadiths that will be memorized in advance. together, writing verses and hadiths in Latin letters to make it easier for students who cannot read the Qur'an fluently, outdoor learning to reduce student boredom, and providing motivation.

Abstract

This article discusses a research aimed at understanding the strategy of the Head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Dukuh in the Watulimo Subdistrict, Tenggalek Regency, with the goal of improving the quality of education. Despite facing limitations in the number of students (40 students) and personnel (10 teachers), the madrasah has successfully maintained its level of quality and continues to receive positive interest from the community. The research also aims to identify challenges that arise during the implementation of the strategy and formulate solution-oriented steps to overcome these obstacles, with the objective of ensuring that the applied strategy achieves optimal results. The research methodology employed is a descriptive-qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation methods for data collection. The findings indicate that the strategy implemented by the madrasah head involves a series of stages, starting from communication management and analysis of the internal and external environment of the madrasah, formulation of strategies based on coordination with internal elements of the madrasah and input from the community, to the implementation and evaluation of the strategy. Identified obstacles involve inhibiting factors such as limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as a shortage of experts proficient in flagship programs. The solution-oriented efforts include optimizing the use of existing facilities and infrastructure, enhancing the quality of educators through teacher professional development training, and involving active participation from the community in flagship activities. With these steps, it is hoped that the applied strategy can be executed optimally, overcome emerging challenges, and produce optimal educational quality. As an added value, the excellence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Dukuh lies in the extracurricular activity of Volleyball. This activity serves as a flagship program attracting the local community, with outstanding achievements such as securing the First Place in the Trenggalek Regency Volleyball Championship.

Abstract

Abstract : This study focuses on the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming student challenges at SMP N 6 Metro. This study uses qualitative research methods, such as interviews and observations, to evaluate the guidance and counseling services provided by these teachers. The results showed that guidance and counseling teachers have an important role in improving students' academic achievement, then they help students overcome mental and emotional health problems, as well as create a better learning environment In addition, this study also found that guidance and counseling teachers can reduce students' level of loss, which is interpreted by their involvement in the learning process. In the context of this study, guidance and counseling teachers play a key role in education. They not only provide academic support, but also help students overcome challenges they face, such as stress, worries, and mental health issues. By conducting individual and group counseling and providing counseling services for the school community, guidance and counseling teachers help students develop social and emotional competencies and prepare them for future challenges. Overall, this study shows that the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming student challenges at SMP N 6 Metro is very important. By understanding and utilizing this role, guidance and counseling teachers can help students achieve their academic and non-academic success.
