Abstract

In Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001, Corruption can be categorized into seven types, namely 1) state financial losses; 2) bribery; 3) extortion; 4) embezzlement in office; 5) fraud; 6) conflict of interest in the procurement of goods and services; and 7) gratification. The construction of the criminal law system, especially regarding corruption, which has been developed recently in Indonesia still aims to uncover crimes that have occurred, find the perpetrators and punish the perpetrators of criminal acts with criminal sanctions, especially "corporal punishment" both imprisonment and detention. Meanwhile, the issue of legal development in the international scope such as the issue of confiscation and confiscation of proceeds of crime and instruments of crime has not become an important part of the criminal law system in Indonesia. In its implementation, the phenomenon of confiscation of assets in corruption cases often has an impact on the families of innocent perpetrators, espe The method used in this paper is juridical-normative, with a conceptual and philosophical approach, reinforced by empirical studies at the implementation stage. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Furthermore, the data collection technique in this study was conducted through library research. The data was then analyzed qualitatively using descriptive-analytical techniques. The study found that the forms of legal and state protection in protecting the families of corruption suspects from the impact of asset confiscation are very complex and not yet fully regulated in Indonesian law. However, the concept of protecting basic family rights is implied in the principle of the rule of law, as stated in Article 34 of the 1945 Constitution, which explicitly links the state's responsibility to vulnerable citizens, such as the poor and neglected children, through three main articles: caring for the poor and neglected children, developing a social security system, and providing adequate health care facilities and public services for all.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between individual factors, namely knowledge factors and social media use factors, as well as family factors, namely adolescent residential status and parents' marital status with risky sexual behavior in young men. This research uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The number of respondents was 112 young men at SMKN X Tarakan City. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Prevalence Odds Ratio (POR) test. Most respondents were 16 years old (43.8%). The majority of respondents had good knowledge about sexual behavior (86.6%), high use of social media (83.9%), lived with their parents (95.5%), and had parents with complete marital status (84.8%). As many as 68.7% of respondents had risky sexual behavior. The use of social media is associated with risky sexual behavior (POR = 2.615), all respondents with their own residence status (4.5%) have risky sexual behavior, and the marital status of divorced parents also increases the incidence of risky sexual behavior (POR = 2.379). It is necessary to strengthen sexuality education which does not only focus on increasing knowledge, but also on controlling the use of social media, parental involvement needs to be increased through supervision, open communication and emotional support, especially for teenagers who live alone or come from families with divorced parents, in order to prevent risky sexual behavior

Abstract

The development of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as one of Indonesia’s priority tourism destinations has significantly contributed to national economic growth through increased investment and rapid infrastructure development. However, this accelerated expansion has also created substantial environmental pressures, particularly on coastal ecosystems, including increased waste generation, degradation of marine habitats, and changes in land use patterns. This study aims to analyze the role of environmental law in promoting sustainable tourism in the Mandalika area by examining the effectiveness of regulatory instruments and their implementation in practice. Using a qualitative research approach employing in-depth interviews, field observations, and policy document analysis this study finds that although a regulatory framework for environmental protection is in place, its implementation faces several challenges, such as weak enforcement, limited transparency of environmental documents, and low levels of community participation in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process. The findings highlight the need to strengthen environmental governance through enhanced multi-stakeholder collaboration, integration of local wisdom, and the adoption of sustainable tourism standards. This research provides practical contributions for policymakers in formulating more effective environmental management strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of Mandalika as a leading tourism destination.

Abstract

The development of tourism villages as part of a sustainable tourism strategy requires governance supported by strong legal certainty. Sada Lombok Tourism Village is a cultural-based destination that has developed through the involvement of local communities and traditional institutions in its management. However, this governance dynamic is not free from legal challenges that may affect tourism sustainability. This study aims to analyze the implementation of legal certainty in the management of Sada Lombok Tourism Village and its impact on tourism sustainability from economic, socio-cultural, and environmental perspectives. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis of village regulations and tourism-related policies. The findings indicate that although village regulations and customary norms governing tourism management are in place, the implementation of legal certainty remains partial and not yet fully integrated. This condition affects economic sustainability, poses potential risks to the protection of cultural values, and limits effective environmental management. The study emphasizes that strengthening legal certainty through regulatory harmonization, formal recognition of traditional institutions, and increased community participation is a crucial prerequisite for achieving sustainable tourism in Sada Lombok Tourism Village. The findings are expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of community-based tourism villages that are equitable and sustainable.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the national economy, including their contribution to government tax revenue. One of the tax obligations that must be fulfilled by MSMEs is Article 21 Income Tax (PPh 21) on employee income. This study aims to analyze Article 21 income tax planning in MSMEs as an effort to optimize employee tax management. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by examining tax regulations and relevant previous studies. The results indicate that Article 21 tax planning is a legal and effective strategy to optimize tax burdens without violating applicable tax laws. There are three methods of calculating Article 21 income tax, namely the gross, net, and gross-up methods. Based on the literature analysis, the gross-up method is considered the most optimal for MSMEs because the tax borne by the company can be recognized as a deductible expense, while employees continue to receive optimal take-home pay. However, the implementation of tax planning still faces several challenges, including limited tax knowledge, difficulties in selecting appropriate calculation methods, and obstacles in using digital tax systems. Therefore, improving tax literacy and strengthening administrative management are essential to support effective employee tax management in MSMEs

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has an impact on the impaired physical and cognitive growth of children. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is one of the provinces that makes stunting a major health problem. Based on the 2022 SSGI report, the prevalence of stunting in NTB is very high because it exceeds the national target figure, despite a downward trend in recent years. Factors such as lack of nutritional knowledge, basic sanitation, improper parenting habits, and low maternal education are also the main causes. One of the factors that is often associated is the low level of education of mothers. Low maternal education has an impact on the quality of parenting and the fulfillment of children's nutritional needs. This emphasized the urgency of analyzing the influence of maternal education level on stunting incidence in West Lombok Regency. The method used to determine the influence of maternal education level on stunting incidence uses the logistic regression analysis method. Logistic regression analysis is a data analysis method that is able to determine the influence of independent variables (maternal education) on dependent variables (stunting events) that are categorical. The results of the study show that there is an influence on the level of education of mothers on the incidence of stunting. This is based on a p-value of 0.001 and an OR of 0.214.

Abstract

Unsecured Credit (Kredit Tanpa Agunan/KTA) is a banking loan facility granted without collateral, where the legal relationship between the bank and the debtor is established through a credit agreement governed by the Indonesian Civil Code and banking regulations. The absence of collateral shifts the primary guarantee to the debtor’s creditworthiness and good faith, thereby increasing the importance of the prudential principle and thorough credit analysis. This juridical study analyzes the legal basis of unsecured credit, bank mechanisms for mitigating default risk, and the legal consequences arising from such credit arrangements. Particular attention is given to the use of standard form credit agreements and their compliance with consumer protection principles, especially regarding transparency, fairness of contractual clauses, and the determination of interest rates and penalty provisions. The study finds that adequate legal safeguards are necessary to prevent imbalance between the parties and to ensure legal certainty, fairness, and protection for both banks and debtors within the framework of modern banking practices
