Abstract

Early childhood education level requires readiness from various elements, one of which is through a literacy program health that aims to help children understand the importance of behavior clean and healthy living (PHBS). The PHBS referred to is in the form bring supplies and do not share food as an effort to prevent Covid-19 at school. This research was carried out using the development method refers to research and development steps according to Borg & Gall (1983). The research objective is to develop pop up book media digital-based to improve health literacy skills in children aged 4-6 years. Product trial results consisting of media expert trials, substance experts trials, prospective users trials and tests field. The media expert test results obtained 85.83%, the substance expert test obtained the average 88.94%, and the test results for prospective product users obtained an average of 86.98%. it can be concluded that ABBA's pop up book media is very good and unnecessary revised. The results of the product effectiveness test obtained an average pre-test score (XB) of 1682 and the average post test score (XA) is 1811 when compared to the t table value at a significance level of 5% then 0.004 <0.05 so it can be concluded that pop up book media can improve health literacy skills in children aged 4-6 years.

Abstract

At a young age, children begin to grow and develop rapidly. Educators, parents, caregivers, or other adults around children need to set up a stimulating role by providing a conducive environment for children to reach their full potential. Questions were asked about social, emotional, and independent life, ethical and religious principles, language skills, cognitive, physical/motor, and artistic potential. Language is a tool of communication with other people. The teacher-child approach, which is the subject of this qualitative research, is the method adopted in this study. A method known as "purposeful sampling" uses specific objectives to select respondents and select sources or objects of research based on various factors. Triangulation, interviews, and observation of the following data collection methods. The use of primary data sources and techniques as well as participant observation are used in qualitative research. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that giving picture books can improve language skills in early childhood at RA AL-HIDAYAH groups A and B. This can be done by observing how the teaching staff at RA AL-HIDAYAH Institute are very enthusiastic and work hard to continue to improve children's language skills. By using the media of picture books, children's language development is also carried out personally.

Abstract

The problem in this study is about learning media that are not maximal in the process and activities in class. This study aims to determine the communication skills of children by applying the method of telling stories using hand puppet media in group a children in early childhood education. The subjects of this study were the Group A2 totaling 18 children. The type and research approach used in this study are quantitative pre-experimental methods, using one group pretest-posttest. From the results of this study concluded that the value of t arithmetic = 3.72 is greater than t table 1.739 with a significance level of 0.05% and 2.556 at a significance level of 0.01 with N = 18 which means the naught hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the working hypothesis (Hl) is accepted. This proves that the working hypothesis (Hl) which states "there is a positive influence on the hand puppet media on children's communication skills is accepted.

Abstract

This study sought to determine whether familiar congklak games influence how children interact with one another to enhance their social and emotional skills. A type of qualitative research known as descriptive research describes the actual situation in the field at the time of the study. The collected data are analyzed narratively, or by assembling the events' descriptions into a story. The study included four to five-year-olds from Rantauprapat, Kel, who lived in the Port Road neighborhood. Rantau Utara District, Padang Matinggi District, and Labuhan Batu District. Observation was used to collect data in this study. The study found that playing congklak in the stone port had little effect on how children between the ages of 4 and 5 developed their emotions. Additionally, made-up activities are based on games that young children can play.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether learning with natural media is effective in improving children's creative thinking skills in CGK Sumarorong Kindergarten. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design type of research. The population in this study was group B aged 5-6 years. The sample in this study was 7 children. The data collection technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the creative thinking ability of children before being treated in the form of learning with natural materials media and after being given treatment, was included in the category of developing according to expectations for the experimental group. While the control group is in the category of starting to develop. So that the effectiveness of the learning model with natural media on the creative thinking ability of children in CGK Sumarorong Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the attitude of responsibility in children who are still low. The low level of responsibility in group A children at TK Karunia Kebraon Surabaya is caused by teachers who still often indulge children in completing their assigments,, as well as lack of affirmation in addressing children's behavior. The purpose to be achieved in this research is to find out the influence of storytelling methods in developing attitudes of responsibility in group A children at TK Karunia Kebraon Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research approach with pre-experimental research type using one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was a group A child at TK Karunia Kebraon Surabaya with 15 children. Data collection method used is observation using assessment tools in the form of observation sheets and documentation. Using statistical analysis method with the formulation used is Ttest which is in accordance with the title of the research, namely The Influence of Storytelling Method in Developing Attitudes of Responsibility in Group A Children at Tk Karunia Kebraon Surabaya. Used pre-test and post-test one group design calculated using the formula Ttest. Based on the calculation result using the T test formula that obtained thitung result is 20.25 where the value is greater than the Tttabel value for the significance of 0.05 is 1. It can be concluded that there is an influence of storytelling methods in developing attitudes of responsibility in group A children at TK Karunia Kebraon Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years by drawing freely at RA HIDAYAT for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The subjects of this study were 12 children in group A. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely action planning, action implementation, evaluation/observation and reflection. Collecting data in this study using observation sheets. Based on the results of improving learning in cycle I to cycle II, where children who were confident at the beginning of the study were 8%, after the action was carried out cycle I showed an increase in children's self-confidence by 42% and finally, the results of implementing cycle II action showed an increase in confidence self in children by 83%. In the results of cycle I and cycle II there was an increase, so using free drawing to increase self-confidence in children was effectively implemented in RA Hidayat, Probolinggo city.

Abstract

Interest in learning is important to grow and develop in children so that children are interested and motivated in learning. The collage technique is one of the activities to increase children's interest in learning. This research aims to increase children's desire to learn through teaching using collage techniques with grain material for children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at Sejathtera II Namorambe Kindergarten, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency, with research subjects 14 group B children aged 5-6 years. This research uses classroom treatment consisting of 2 cycles, where one cycle consists of 4 components, which include planning, action, observation and reflection. Data analysis uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The results of the research showed that in initial conditions there was only 20% of the class average, and action was taken in cycle 1 resulting in an increase of 58% in children's interest in learning. The increase that occurred has not met the target, so treatment needs to be carried out in cycle II. As a result, children's interest in learning increased to 87% after taking action in cycle II. In this way, the collage technique made from grain materials can increase interest in learning among group B students at Sejathtera II Namorambe Kindergarten, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the beginning in forming a child's character and attitudes. Early childhood knowledge and learning strategies are needed. This is needed to explore children's interest in language skills. Early childhood language skills can arise if there is external stimulation. One of them uses the storytelling method. This research discusses the low language skills of young children. The aim of this research is to improve the language skills of young children through the storytelling method. Children's language skills seen from conversations are quite clear, they are skilled at pronouncing and understanding words, they are able to follow the storyline, they enjoy poetry, humor word games and their vocabulary has developed to reach 1500 words. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using the picture book storytelling method for children aged 5-6 years at Mary's Children's Kindergarten Namorambe T.A 2022/2023. This research consists of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. At each meeting the researcher conducts learning outcomes tests on children to determine the child's improvement. In the pre-cycle the average score for children was 38%, in the first cycle the average score was 64.32%. in cycle II the average was 89% and the percentage of children categorized as developing very well in learning each cycle also increased. Using the picture book storytelling method can improve the language skills of young children at Mary's Children's Kindergarten Namorambe T.A 2022/2023.

Abstract

Early childhood is an individual who is in the age range of 0 to 6 years, this age range is the most qualified period to stimulate every aspect of development in children, especially in terms of aspects of social development. Children's social development is a series of social behaviors that appear in individuals. Generally, patterns of social behavior in children are obtained through social events received in their social environment. This research aims to determine the role of daycare in stimulating social development in children aged 4-5 years. In this case, researcher made aspects of social development, there are : aspects of cooperation, aspects of empathy, aspects of generosity, and aspects of imitation with indicators; play and cooperate with other friends, can put themselves in the position of others, can share with friends and people around daycare, and can practice worship activities. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative by data collection methods through observation, the results of interview and documentation in this research explained that the role of Bocah Emas daycare in stimulating social development in children aged 4-5 years has shown success in several aspects. The inhibiting and supporting factors for social development in children aged 4-5 years in the Bocah Emas daycare occur due to several factors, there are: home environment factors, family factors, social status factors and factors of child interaction with their friends.
