Abstract

Patient satisfaction serves as a critical indicator in evaluating the quality of healthcare service delivery. This study stems from concerns regarding extended waiting times experienced by patients at the Pediatric Polyclinic of Indriati Hospital Boyolali, which are believed to contribute to diminished satisfaction and loyalty among service users. The primary objective of this research is to assess and map the influence of service waiting time and service quality on patient satisfaction, as well as to examine the subsequent impact on patient loyalty toward the healthcare institution. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method, with data analyzed through causal statistical techniques utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data were collected via a convenience sampling method, involving 100 respondents who were currently receiving or had recently received services at the Pediatric Polyclinic of Indriati Hospital Boyolali. The findings reveal that both service waiting time and service quality have a significant and positive impact on patient satisfaction. Furthermore, these two variables also directly affect patient loyalty. Importantly, patient satisfaction was found to act as a significant mediating variable, bridging the influence of service waiting time and service quality on loyalty. These results underscore the necessity of enhancing service process efficiency and improving the quality of service interactions as key strategies for building trust and fostering long-term loyalty among hospital service users.

Abstract

This paper examines the underlying strategic processes relied upon by students regarding decision-making process in selecting the Hospitality and Tourism Business (HTB) course in Ciputra University. The study measures the perceived value, promotional influence, stakeholder dynamics, and institutional attributes that inform the enrolment behaviour through in-depth interviews of current students as participants of a qualitative case study design. The results indicate that students are attracted, not only to the academic material, but also because of that congruence between the institutional identity and the individual goals, especially those goals concerning entrepreneurship, global awareness, and integrated learning. The importance of strategic involvement of stakeholders (i.e. alumni, parents, and industry partners) was identified as a key facilitator and driver of both trust and enrollment performance. For immersive learning environments and experiential resources, professional identity and career readiness were viewed as the main enabling aspects. Such findings support the significance of aligned branding, experiential pedagogy, and stakeholder synergy with higher education strategy. The analysis adds to the body of writing in academic advertising, value co-creation, and identity-based institutional positioning, giving a replicable framework that universities can use to strengthen the competitiveness of differentiation in the active global environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of environmental accounting and CSR will impact the profitability of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. This study applies a quantitative method, and the sample consists of twenty manufacturing companies selected using a purposive sampling method for five years, a total of 100 observations were generated. The research data were taken from the organization's annual report. The findings of the study indicate that green accounting has a significant impact on the level of profitability as measured by return on assets (ROA). In addition, CSR also has a positive impact on profitability, where companies that are active in CSR activities tend to gain a higher level of trust from stakeholders, thus having a positive impact on financial performance. The conclusion of the study confirms that the simultaneous implementation of Green Accounting and CSR can create strong synergy in increasing the profitability and competitiveness of the company. The implications of this study indicate that companies need to pay more attention to the implementation of Green Accounting and CSR as elements in their business planning.

Abstract

In an environment marked by escalating competition, critical customer scrutiny, and evolving supply chain expectations, quality management has become indispensable, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A review of existing literature reveals that adopting formal systems like Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO certification often fails to yield significant performance benefits. This study therefore probes a more fundamental issue: to what extent is quality performance driven by the mere existence of these systems versus their level of implementation within managerial processes? Drawing on empirical research involving 120 manufacturing SMEs in Makassar City, analyzed through structural equation modelling (SEM), this paper investigates the interdependencies among top management support, infrastructure, stakeholder participation, process management, and quality performance. Findings indicate that only process management exerts a direct influence on quality performance, while leadership, infrastructure, and stakeholder involvement exert indirect, residual effects constrained by how quality processes are configured. Consequently, this study posits that SMEs should embed quality as an integral, internalized practice, rigorously implement it, and continually pursue improvements. High performance in these firms appears less contingent on external certification or formal policy adoption and more on the strategic integration of quality within their process systems and routines. This insight underscores the need for SMEs to shift focus from compliance-driven approaches to cultivating deeply ingrained quality-centric operational cultures, thereby ensuring sustained competitive advantage and responsiveness to dynamic market demands.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to re-evaluate the relevance of the Philipps curve in Indonesian economy post COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Phillips Curve theory, there is a negative correlation between unemployment and inflation, but the post-pandemic economic landscape presents complications. Using a descriptive perspective, and linear regression on the 2019 − 2024 inflation and unemployment data, research suggests that they are inversely associated with each other, yet, insiginificant from the statistical point of view. So this says that: whatever the causes of inflation, they are mostly from other variables such as changes in global supply chains and international policy decisions (global in addition to domestic policy) rather than unemployment. The traditional view of the Phillips Curve model thus is considered not suitable in modeling Indonesia macroeconomic nowadays. These findings underscore the need for a more flexible, locally-sensitive and data-informed approach to policy-making with respect to the economy.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) provide an overview of the implementation of the M-Passport application in the Passport service process, (2) assess its effectiveness and efficiency in improving service processes, and (3) identify obstacles faced during its implementation at the Makassar Class I TPI Immigration Office. The research adopts a mixed-method approach, involving 42 passport applicants and managers. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, and analyzed using data triangulation. The M-Passport application has significantly improved service procedures, offering clear, accessible guidelines for applicants. It ensures timely service completion and transparent payment details, enhancing overall user satisfaction. The application is supported by adequate infrastructure, including waiting areas, playrooms, breastfeeding rooms, separate toilets for public use and disabilities, and dedicated counters for Indonesian and foreign applicants. Information and service ambassadors are also available to assist users. The effectiveness of Passport services using the M-Passport application is rated at 84.56% ("Good"), while efficiency is rated at 83.88% ("Good"). Despite these achievements, challenges remain. Frequent maintenance and updates can render the application inaccessible for 2–3 days. Network issues also affect accessibility, while limited-service quotas occasionally prevent applicants from securing preferred schedules. the M-Passport application has improved the service experience at the Makassar Immigration Office but requires addressing maintenance, network reliability, and quota limitations to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency further.

Abstract

People tend to think of financial feasibility as an issue of numbers, which it is not. It is the issue of strategic intention, capital discipline, operating structure, and expected payoff being aligned. The research proposal is a complete financial plan and investment feasibility study on a new venture in the meat supply industry using the logistic-driven process targeting HORECA in the Jabodetabek area. In a five-year financial modeling, the study analyzes the anticipated revenues, cost structure, capital demand and finance projections through Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period, and the main financial ratios. The combination of scenario budgeting with systematic investment analysis not only builds a story of performance based on the strategic cost-allocation, liquidity maintenance and long-term solvency, but it also anticipates changing conditions, provides a clearer vision of the future by ensuring that the company can transform itself to adapt the potential improvements and counter powers to capitalize on them. Results show that profitability in the short term is sacrificed, but as of the second year, the enterprise will be able to cover its finances, achieve operational leverage, respectively high net margins as of the fifth year. The presence of a positive net present value (NPV) of 3.2 billion Indonesian rupiahs, an internal rate of returns (IRR) of 24 percent, and a 4.4-year payback indicate that as an investment it is both appealing to investors and economical in terms of capital.

Abstract

work motivation on employee performance at the Nunukan Regency Population Control and Family Planning Health Service. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to employees at the agency. The collected data was then analyzed using statistical techniques to test the relationship between work environment variables, work motivation and employee performance. The research results show that less conducive work environments, such as hot air temperatures and room cleanliness, do not have a significant influence on employee performance. This indicates that although the work environment can influence comfort, its impact on work productivity is not significant. On the other hand, work motivation is proven to have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a high level of motivation playing an important role in increasing dedication and task achievement. Overall, both the work environment and work motivation, both individually and collectively, have a significant influence on employee performance. Based on the results of this research, motivation factors are important in improving employee performance, while the work environment also needs to be considered to create a more conducive work atmosphere. This research suggests that agencies should focus more on developing programs that can increase work motivation, such as providing incentives and rewards, as well as improving the physical conditions of the work environment to increase employee comfort.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the local government in implementing the farmer empowerment program for rice farmers in Sumber Sari Village, Babulu District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, and to assess the effectiveness of the program in improving farmers' productivity and welfare. Additionally, this study identifies and analyzes the challenges and obstacles faced by the local government in implementing farmer empowerment policies and seeks to understand how these factors influence the success of the program. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that the local government plays an active role in empowering farmers through the distribution of granular organic fertilizer funded by the DIPA APBD 1 of East Kalimantan Province. This program aims to enhance agricultural productivity by involving 28 farmer groups in Babulu District, including Sumber Sari Village. Although the program provides benefits to farmers, its effectiveness is still affected by limited access to water, a lack of technical extension services, and suboptimal agricultural infrastructure. The primary challenges in farmer empowerment include dependence on rainfall, land-use conversion, limited training opportunities, market price fluctuations, and the impacts of climate change. To improve the program’s success, this study recommends that the local government, particularly the Penajam Paser Utara Agricultural Office, expand farmers' access to subsidies and modern agricultural tools to enhance productivity. Additionally, future research could focus on the effectiveness of irrigation systems in strengthening food security.
