Abstract

People with disabilities have potential and skills that can be trained. One place to develop disability skills is the private foundation Bina Siwi Orphanage located in Yogyakarta. Bina Siwi Orphanage trains various disability skills such as self-help skills, arts, agriculture, animal husbandry, and making crafts. Most of the people with disabilities at Bina Siwi Orphanage have limited intellectual barriers, therefore the training provided must be accompanied by continuous skill distribution. Based on these problems, researchers conducted an experiential tourism-based educational tourism development programme. Tourism becomes an attraction because it can accommodate disability skills, has sustainable economic potential, and builds public awareness of disabilities. Tourism is developed using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with the stages of observation, designing educational tourism based on activities developed into tour packages, training in the management of tourism activities to the administrators of disability homes, training in marketing and promotion of tourism activities, implementation of tourism activities, and evaluation. The developed tour packages use memorable tourism experience attributes to attract tourists to visit again. The result of the programme is a package of social education recreational tourism activities. Based on the trials conducted, the most effective scheme in the implementation of the programme is the social education recreation tourism activity package. Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak with the aim of providing training to students related to the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in smart home and smart farming systems. This activity was chosen because most of the Indonesian population does not have an understanding and knowledge of the IoT concept, especially the younger generation of school age. The implementation method includes socialization, training and direct simulation of making IoT-based smart home and smart farming prototypes using ESP8266 sensors as microcontrollers. The PkM activities succeeded in increasing the participants knowledge about IoT.  The results of this questionnaire prove the increased understanding of participants from the delivery of material and increased ability to use and develop IoT and increased learning motivation to apply IoT technology in everyday life. This proves the positive impact of the facilitator's involvement on partners, with this training it is hoped that new ideas or ideas will emerge from the younger generation to face the digital era and be able to identify and solve problems around them by utilizing Internet of Things technology. Abstract

Coffee marketing by members of Gapoktan Mugi Lestari is currently still limited to offline, so it has a limited market share and is less well-known by the wider community. Coffee, as a commodity with high demand, has a wider market opportunity. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of farmer group members about the importance of effective online marketing and introducing environmentally friendly packaging as an added value. The activity was carried out at Gapoktan Mugi Lestari, Temanggung, using lecture, discussion, and digital marketing practice methods using Shopee. The level of understanding and knowledge of members was evaluated through pre-tests and post-tests, which showed a significant increase from 63% to 85%, which was analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The members' enthusiasm was very good because this activity could open up wider marketing opportunities and improve the household economy. In the future, the activity is expected to help with business licensing, assistance in standardizing coffee product quality, and managing certification, as well as training and counseling on digital marketing strategies. In addition, support is needed from the local government regarding the development of digital infrastructure in agricultural areas as well as digital literacy training, and the provision of subsidies or incentives for farmers who use environmentally friendly packaging. Abstract

Karangasem Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency has natural potential in the form of a reservoir that has not been utilized optimally. To develop a reservoir development program, a SWOT analysis was carried out using a focused group discussion method between the Community Service Team from Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo University, the Karangasem Village Government, and the GP Fish Farmers Group. The data collection stage produces strength data, namely: it has sufficient area, the depth reaches 1.5 m, the volume of water that can be accommodated reaches 22,500 m3, the condition of the water in the reservoir is considered quite good based on the inflow and outflow of water, the level of water infiltration is not too high. high, has an electricity network, and has an internet network. The weakness is that the location of the embung is far from the city center, Mount Pegat still lacks visitors, the knowledge of the embung managers is still minimal. The opportunity is that fishing activities have many enthusiasts, they can activate social media for promotion. The threat is that it has to compete with other water tourism in the Sukoharjo and Wonogiri areas. From the results of the SWOT analysis, a decision was obtained to develop the embung into a fishing tourist attraction and floating net cages. Keywords: embung, SWOT, fishing, cages

Abstract

Menstruation is a natural process that all adolescent girls experience. However, many young women feel uncomfortable or experience dysmenorrhea during this time. The main issues surrounding this topic are the lack of information about dysmenorrhea, the underutilization of android applications, and the lack of training on how to use these applications for health purposes, specifically for dysmenorrhea. To address these problems, the proposed solutions include increasing awareness and understanding about dysmenorrhea and providing training on how to use android applications for health, specifically for dysmenorrhea. The goal of this activity is to utilize android-based health applications, such as menstrual cycle reminder apps, to help adolescent girls manage dysmenorrhea and continue with their daily activities. This activity was conducted with 410 students from MTS Negeri 1 Boyolali in grades VII and VIII. The implementation of this activity involves several stages, including socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, evaluation, and planning for program sustainability. The partners' knowledge and understanding were evaluated by comparing pretest and posttest results, which showed an average score increase of 26.2 from 58.18 to 84.34. The students' enthusiasm for participating in the activity was also high, as evidenced by their active participation and application of the knowledge gained. The follow-up plan that will be carried out based on the results of community service includes optimizing the role of the School Health Unit in improving the reproductive health of students through collaboration with local health centers. Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most common non-communicable diseases and poses a serious risk of complications if not properly managed. In RT 04 and RT 05, Karangbendo Village, the incidence of hypertension particularly among the elderly is notably high, necessitating promotive and preventive efforts through community service activities. This program aimed to enhance public knowledge regarding hypertension and its prevention through health education and blood pressure screening. The methods employed included educational lectures supported by PowerPoint presentations, distribution of informative leaflets, and assessment of participants’ knowledge using pre- and post-tests. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the proportion of respondents demonstrating good knowledge increasing from 7.1% to 57.1% after the intervention.
