Abstract

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the relationship between the science learning outcomes of Class VII students at SMP Negeri 26 Malang with learning difficulties Low motivation, passivity in class, and difficulties during the discussion process are symptoms of learning difficulties found in science learning at SMP Negeri 26 Malang. Various symptoms of learning difficulties affect student science learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach, specifically the type of causal research and questionnaire or data collection of sperm rank correlation questionnaire data from respondents. The results of the study of internal factors and external factors are in the weak category. While scientific difficulties are included in the weak category. The decision to accept H0 leads to the conclusion that the relationship between learning difficulties and science learning outcomes is an insignificant or insignificant relationship. The results of the study relationship between learning difficulties and learning outcomes in the low category, the relationship of scientific learning difficulties with learning outcomes are also in the low category. Based on the correlation, Spearman showed that the results of the relationship between learning difficulties and learning outcomes were insignificant.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by using Project Based Learning (PjBL). This study used 2 cycles of PTK with the subject of 33 grade VII students at SMPN 2 Surabaya through four stages, namely Plan, Action, Observe, and Reflect. Each cycle consists of three meetings using teaching modules, student worksheets (LKPD), test questions, student activity observation sheets and also learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes with an average of 73.18 in the first cycle to 81.21 in the second cycle, in addition, class completeness also increased from 42.42% to 84.84%. This shows that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what are the impacts of smartphone use on student learning outcomes at SDN 4 Puyoh. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with case studies. Data discovery and collection was done through observation, interviews, documentation, and other analyses. There were 12 students in class IV, and 5 students will become informants with details of 2 boys and 3 girls. This study uses data analysis for presentation, reduction, and conclusion or verification, where the impact of smartphone uses on students and the impact of smartphone use on student learning outcomes show that: (1) Students in grade IV at SDN 4 Puyoh continue to use smartphones, and they often become disappointed, sad, or even angry. (2) The use of smartphones has an impact on student learning outcomes and smartphone addiction, this is because students prefer to play smartphones rather than studying so that the habit of playing smartphones reduces awareness in learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class VIII J SMP Negeri 1 Pamekasan. This study uses PTK research on statistical material through the application of a project-based learning model through two learning cycles. This study used 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings in each learning implementation. The results of the study in cycle I the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 51.9% and increased in cycle II by 66.7% with a percentage increase of 14.8%. So it can be concluded that learning by applying a project-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade VIII J students of SMP Negeri 1 Pamekasan on statistical material. This shows that project-based learning models can improve student statistical learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to produced appropriate student worksheets on the Classification of Living Creatures material at junior high school level based on Problem Based Learning at Sunan Giri Middle School, Malang. This research was a research and development study which produces student worksheets which will be validated by material experts and media experts, then tested on 15 class VII students. The results showed that validation by material experts gave a percentage of 82%, while media experts gave 93.5%, while the results of trials by students obtained results of 90% for attractiveness and 91% for ease, with the highest percentage of statement items being student worksheets can make me understand the material easily, and the statement items in the form of LKPD make me more interested in studying science. So, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on the Classification of Living Creatures material developed at Sunan Giri Middle School Malang was suitable for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the success of practitioner teaching in learning Educational Psychology courses at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University. This study used a best practice review approach to identify effective teaching strategies used by practitioners in that context. The research methods used involve classroom observation, interviews with practitioners, and qualitative analysis of documents. Practitioners use an active and collaborative learning approach, engage students in discussions and case studies, and encourage self-reflection with the help of relevant audiovisual media and reading materials. It was found that practitioners' success in teaching Educational Psychology is related to competence in integrating theory with relevant practical examples, relating material to students' real lives, and providing constructive feedback. In addition, practitioners also build inclusive learning environments, support students' active participation, and create an atmosphere that facilitates deep understanding. The results show that teaching with practice has been successfully carried out in teaching Educational Psychology courses, with implications related to the development of teaching competencies and the application of best practices in teaching Educational Psychology courses.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to produce learning videos on the material of the life organization systems of living things as learning material for class VII junior high school students. This research was development research with Research and Development, where the product developed will be assessed and validated by media and materials experts and tested on 24 class VII middle school students. Data from the results of questionnaire analysis by calculating the percentage of achievement in each component, namely 87.5% (media expert), 90% (linguist expert), and 74% (material expert) and the teacher assessment results were 79% with the category suitable for use. Meanwhile, data from the results of the analysis of student response questionnaires calculated the average percentage of 86.83% in the very feasible category. From these data it can be concluded that video-based learning media is appropriate and students agree to use it as a learning media to support the teaching and learning process in material on the organization of living things for junior high school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity of developing learning media in the form of board games on the structure and function of plant tissue, using ADDIE model development research which will be validated by media experts, material experts, teachers and 20 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 16 Malang. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to test the appearance, material, and ease of use of the board game learning media being developed. The results of the research showed that at the analysis stage there were still some students who had not actively participated independently, so a design was carried out to develop a board game by adapting the components of the Ministry of National Education (2008), followed by media development where the validation results from media experts, material experts and teachers showed the average scores were 4.84, 4.91, and 4.75 in the valid category, while the test results from students showed a result of 4.82 in the feasible category. This is because the board game contains pictures that match the material and are able to increase student activity through active participation of students in the game.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students learning motivation by using TPACK-based MOTARO media in social studies subjects. The type of research method is classroom research which is carried out for 2 cycles. Data analysis was carried out through interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation to see the level of students learning motivation after using TPACK-based MOTARO media in social studies subjects. The results of observing student motivation obtained a score percentage of 71%, including the high motivation category, and at the second meeting using media, the average class obtained a score percentage of 82%, including the very high motivation category. Then it was obtained through a learning motivation questionnaire that students got the class average score at the first meeting with a percentage of 74% which was included in the high motivation category and at the second meeting there was an increase with the class average with a percentage of 88% which was included in the very high motivation category. So, from the results of the questionnaire and observations obtained, the implementation of TPACK-based MOTARO media in social studies subjects can increase students learning motivation.

Abstract

This research and development aims to create a valid and effective canva-based interactive learning media for Civics subjects in class II SDN Merjosari 3 Malang City. This study uses the research and development (RD) research type of the Borg and Gall model. The development procedure consists of nine steps modified from the Borg and Gall model: (1) research and data collection; (2) planning; (3) initial product development; (4) validation test; (5) product revision; (6) small group trial; (7) product revision; (8) large group trial; and (9) valid and effective products. The results of the final test with a score of 72 with an effective category can be seen from the benchmark reference assessment guidelines. These results show that canva-based interactive learning media in Civics class II subjects can be used as an effective and valid learning media.
