Abstract

The implementation of digital literacy in literacy education for students in the Elementary School Teacher Education Program at Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University. The methodology used in this research is quantitative research conducted at the Elementary School Teacher Education Program at Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University in the even semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The results indicate that the Elementary School Teacher Education Program students have digital literacy skills with a score of 50% for digital access, categorized as sufficient, and a score of 75% for digital literacy competence, categorized as good. Furthermore, the results show that technology usage scored 45% with a sufficient category, while online access scored 70% with a good category. For digital literacy competence, the information and communication aspect scored well, while content creation scored sufficient. In conclusion, this research indicates that technology access plays an important role in enhancing digital literacy among Elementary School Teacher Education Program students at Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the drill method combined with Kartu Pintar Jawa (KAPIJA) media in improving student learning outcomes in class V SDN 2 Mantingan in Javanese script learning. The research method used was quantitative with a pre-experimental design involving 42 elementary school students. The results of this study revealed that student learning outcomes were proven to have increased as seen from the average pretest score of 44.4 increasing to 79.6 in the posttest. In addition, the t-test resulted in a 2-Tailed significance value = 0.000, indicating that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The results showed that the combination of drill method and KAPIJA media was effective in improving students' understanding of Javanese characters. This combination succeeded in improving students' Javanese script literacy by making learning more interactive and fun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe artificial intelligence (AI) and education in the era of society 5.0. This research is a descriptive-qualitative research with a method in the form of journal meta-analysis by complementing and comparing previous information through literature review using data from 22 journal articles to be collected then further studied and analyzed related to the results of their findings and draw a conclusion. This study examines about: (1) artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education; (2) the role and position of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education; (3) the advantages and disadvantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education; and (4) artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education to face the era of Society 5.0., which is to overcome the challenges and problems of the times quickly. AI has the advantage of being able to quickly create and score content, automate tasks in education, but it also has the disadvantage of having risks in handling privacy issues, algorithmic bias, and transparency controls. AI itself cannot replace the position of teachers because it cannot monitor student development significantly, how character morally and emotionally, so it would be better if AI is used as a tool that can help teachers do learning and also an emotional approach in building student character to face the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of learning methods outside the classroom can increase student interest in learning. This study used a classroom action research method involving 18 S1 students of Biology Education FKIP UKI. The steps of this research include the planning stage, action, action implementation, observation stage, and reflection stage. The results showed that from the pretest results of student learning interest, an average score of 69.6429 was obtained. This score shows a very low average learning interest score before applying learning methods outside the classroom. The results of this study showed that the score of interest in learning after learning methods outside the classroom increased from the pretest results of 69.6429 to the results of cycle 1, which was 78.9163, then the results of cycle 2 to 82.3153. The difference in scores has been analyzed using SPSS with the T test and shows a significant result of 0.01. This shows that the application of learning methods outside the classroom can increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the various kinds of errors made by taruna when solving applied mathematics problems based on the Newman procedure. Newman divides errors into 5 types, namely reading error, comprehension error, transform error, process skill error, and encoding error. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and interviews. Data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing are part of this research. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be seen that in solving mathematical problems in land mathematics courses there are 5% of subjects experience errors in reading errors, 16% of subjects experience errors in comprehension errors, 9% errors in transform errors, 26% of subjects experience process skill errors, and 9% errors in encoding errors. Most of the errors were errors in the selection of problem-solving strategies.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class IV of SD N Jleper 2 Mijen Demak and involved 19 students. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes and teachers' ability to teach social studies content by applying the cultural values of Grebeg Besar of Demak Regency through interactive PowerPoint media used by the Discovery learning model. In this study, students' social studies learning outcomes and teachers' teaching skills are the dependent variables. Grebeg Besar cultural values, interactive PowerPoint media, and discovery learning model are independent variables. Observation, interview, test, and documentation are the data collection methods. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis were used. The results of the teacher teaching skills research also increased, at 64% (sufficient) and 82% (good) in cycle I, and 57% (less) in cycle II. Thus, learning outcomes and teacher teaching skills in social studies content can be improved by applying the cultural values of Grebeg Besar of Demak Regency with the help of interactive PowerPoint media and Discovery Learning learning model.

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of grade 1 students by using the PBL learning model through the TPACK approach in Pancasila Education lessons. Method: The type of research used was PTK which was carried out over 2 cycles. see student learning outcomes after using the PBL learning model through the TPAC approach. An increase in learning outcomes at the second meeting was achieved, getting a percentage of 92.50% with the "very good" criteria, in teacher activities getting a percentage of 89.50% with the "very good" criteria, while in student learning outcomes getting a percentage of 93.50% with the criteria " finished." So this model can be used in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a correlation between school principal leadership and learning effectiveness in their curriculum era at private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah schools in Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative research. This research involved 354 people, including teachers, school principals and students from four private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah located in the city of Pekanbaru. .   As a research sample, respondents who are met by chance and are willing to participate will be taken by chance (accidental sampling method). After the data was collected, the Spearman Rank statistical technique was used to analyze the correlation between two variables using Spearman rho. The results of this research are that there is a positive correlation between school principal leadership and learning effectiveness in their curriculum era at private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah schools in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing QR-Code-based catalogs, especially in the plant group of the Euphorbiaceae family. This research was an RD development research with the ADDIE method. This research included the analysis stage to assess the needs of the P-WEC conservation area, followed by the design stage to design a QR-Code-based catalog, then the development stage to create products in the form of QR-Code-based catalogs, especially for the plant group of the Euphorbiaceae family continued with validation by media experts and material experts and ended with the implementation phase in the form of a trial of catalog assessment by 20 visitors to the P-WEC conservation area. The results showed that based on the results of validation by media experts, they scored 4.17 and based on validation by material experts, they scored 3.95 with each having a decent category, then the trial results got a value of 4.16 with a decent category. QR-Code-based catalog development can be used because it has benefits in the form of efficiency because it prevents visitors from wasting time on search engines and being exposed to irrelevant information, this catalog can be accessed by mobile devices independently by visitors using a scanner application on Android to find out the variety and benefits of the Euphorbiaceae plant group.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application, solution and management of differentiated learning problems based on student learning profiles in History subjects. This study used qualitative research methods with data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions which were carried out continuously. The results and discussion obtained were the application of differentiated learning in History subjects using a differentiation strategy consisting of content, process, and product. The resulted of the research in the form of differentiated learning based on student learning profiles can be used in limited resources, educator skills, limited time, different assessments, and complex classroom management. This can be applied to a variety of different learning characteristics of students by fulfilling all the needs of students based on their abilities and taking into account the learning readiness of students so as to raise the learning motivation of each student in the history learning process in class.
