Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which religious orientation and friendship quality can influence student happiness at SMP Muhammadiyah Boarding School ‘X’ in Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This study used a quantitative approach to analyse the relationship between variables. Data were collected using the Orientation to Happiness (OTH) scale, Religious Orientation Scale (ROS), and Friendship Qualities Scale (FQS). By applying the Partial Least Square (PLS)-SEM method, the results showed that religious orientation and friendship qualities play a significant role in achieving students' happiness in boarding schools. The findings of this study provide a stronger basis for the development of interventions or programmes aimed at increasing students' happiness in boarding schools.  For future researchers, it is recommended to conduct a broader and more comprehensive study involving mediator and moderator variables.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between the philosophy of the Merdeka Curriculum and the empowerment of autonomy in the context of higher education. The research method involves in-depth philosophical analysis of the theoretical foundations of educational philosophy underlying the Merdeka Curriculum, with a specific focus on values such as freedom, creativity, and active student participation. This approach is used to identify how these philosophical values are reflected in the structure and design of the curriculum, as well as their impact on student empowerment. Data analysis is conducted by evaluating the philosophical concepts contained in official documents and implementation guidelines of the Merdeka Curriculum. Results and discussions indicate that the philosophy of the Merdeka Curriculum substantially supports the realization of educational autonomy by providing greater space for students to take an active role in the learning process. The conclusion of this research provides a deep understanding of how educational philosophy can be integrated into the curriculum structure to advance educational autonomy in higher education. This research contributes significantly to conceptual and practical thinking related to the empowerment of autonomy in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to develop valid and practical textbooks to improve students' understanding of concepts. This type of research is development research, namely the development of textbooks with the Plomp model: (1) initial investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) testing, evaluation and revision, and (5) implementation. The subject of this study is a student of the Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP Andi Matappa. Research instrument: textbook validation sheet. Results of the study: (1) the validity score of the content and reliability of the textbook is included in the high category; (2) This textbook has practical criteria; (3) There is an increase in students' understanding of the concept with the average student being in the medium category. The derivative calculus textbook has met the criteria of valid, reliable and practical to improve the understanding of the concept of STKIP Andi Matappa students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of the project at SDIT Future Islamic School (FIS) Pekanbaru to enhance the Pancasila student profile (P5) dimension of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character in the independent curriculum, as well as the relationship between this project and the students' moral education in the hadith. The study that was done falls under the category of qualitative descriptive research. Interviews are the method used to get data. Content analysis is the method used for data analysis. According to the study's findings, P5 is being implemented at SDIT Future Islamic School (FIS) Pekanbaru, which is improving religious, interpersonal, environmental, and national morality. The moral education of children in the hadith is connected to the implementation of P5 at SDIT FIS. The result of the research is Islamic Integrated Islamic School should adopt the hadist in their teaching learning process.

Abstract

The social competence of teachers based on gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) in this research is the teacher's ability to communicate with children with special needs based on managing social dynamics and the teacher's framework for promoting social inclusion. The aim of this research is to create an instrument to measure teachers' social competence based on gender equality and social inclusion (GESI). The research method used is quantitative descriptive research. The development of the questionnaire in this study incorporates a measurement framework that provides a systematic method based on a combination of theoretical and psychometric approaches. The sample was 91 teachers who taught in four Bandung City State Elementary Schools. Based on the research results, data was obtained that the GESI-based social competency questionnaire consists of three aspects, namely attitudes towards inclusive education, empathy for students with special needs, and problem solving. The number of items in the questionnaire, namely 36 items, has met the standards of reliability, content validity, construct validity, and provides initial evidence for the use of the instrument with the aim of measuring the social competence of GESI-based teachers in inclusive schools.

Abstract

Many elementary school students find Javanese language lessons difficult to understand because of its diversity, which is the background for this research. The aim of carrying out this research is to improve writing skills through the Javanese Legena script material for class III students at SDN Batukali through the use of Javanese smart card media. The type of research used was research and development (RD) with the ADDIE model, involving 27 grade III students at SDN Batukali as research subjects. Based on the needs analysis, it shows that students experience obstacles in observing the writing of the Javanese legena script.  Therefore, Javanese smart card media is designed to resemble a card equipped with instructions in the form of small numbers next to Javanese script. The results of this research prove that the validation aspect by material experts obtained a score of 87.5%, while the media validation aspect received a score of 77.5%, both of which are in the feasible category. The results of the Java smart card media trial revealed a difference between the average pretest result of 53.51 and posttest of 76.66. Effectiveness is shown through the results of the writing skills test using the paired sample test with SPSS 25, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.005. In conclusion, the use of Javanese smart card media has proven to be very effective in improving Javanese script writing skills in elementary school students and other equivalent educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of disciplinary character education for third grade students of Muhammadiyah 11 Randegan Elementary School, Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive type. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources obtained in this study came from homeroom teachers and third grade students. Data analysis was obtained using the miles and Huberman analysis technique, namely data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. The results of this study indicate that third grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Randegan can implement disciplinary character education well based on discipline indicators, namely getting used to coming and leaving school on time, orderly marching when entering class, following literacy activities in an orderly manner, obeying the rules that apply in class, wearing school uniforms according to schedule, completing assignments on time, following learning in an orderly manner, performing dhuha and dzhuhur prayers in congregation.

Abstract

Peningkatan kemampuan kreativitas pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 39 Surabaya belum berkembang secara optimal. Hal ini terkait dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang digunakan di lembaga ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 39 Surabaya dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis eksplorasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon match pair test. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis eksplorasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sesuai dengan hasil uji normalitas yang dilakukan peneliti, diketahui nilai T terkecil yaitu T (hit) = 0 dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 18 anak, maka didapatkan nilai kritis T untuk uji taraf nyata Wilcoxon maka didapatkan T (Tab) = 40. Dengan demikian, nilai T (hit) 0,05. T (Tab) berarti Ho ditolak (tidak ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis eksplorasi berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 39 Surabaya) dan Ha diterima (ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis eksplorasi berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 39 Surabaya), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis eksplorasi berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AISYIYAH 39 Surabaya dengan melihat aspek perkembangan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

This development research aims to create digital-based learning content on psychological first aid as a first step to reduce self-harm behaviour as an effort to provide psychological support in crisis situations. This is due to the rampant cases of mental disorders that lead to self-harm. This learning media development uses the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis of the trial results and the effectiveness of the media conducted through a survey to 57 students regarding the understanding and user response to the media developed using 8 (indicators) of assessment. Digital learning media produced in the form of educational content uploaded through massive online open courses and also through 2 (two) social media, namely YouTube and Instagram. All respondents gave an assessment that their understanding of PFA and self-harm increased after reading and watching the educational videos presented. Digital learning media can be an effective tool in educating mental health, including PFA to deal with self-harm. Recommendations and suggestions for further development are to expand the target audience and conduct further research to assess the long-term impact of media on self-harm management.

Abstract

One system that is widely used now is the e-learning system, which in the system brings the influence of transformation from conventional education to education with digital forms. This research uses the RD method. The results of black box testing by testing the functionality of the e-learning gamification learning system, the results obtained are as expected and all available features run well. The effectiveness of using a website-based gamification e-learning learning system in mathematics subjects is reviewed by comparing pre-test and post-test data. The learning media is said to be successful if the gain score value obtained is 0.71 or in the high category. To test the effectiveness of the e-learning learning system, researchers used the pre-test and post-test method on 15 students of class VI-C SDN Purwantoro 1 Malang City which resulted in a difference in value or the final result of the test in the form of calculating the gain score value by obtaining a value of 0.71 which is classified as a high category. Based on the research that has been done as a whole, it can be concluded that researchers have successfully implemented a website-based gamification e-learning learning system to improve student learning outcomes.
