Abstract

Abstract This study aims to enhance student activity in the learning process and increase participation in learning by implementing a cooperative learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis.. The indicator of the succes of this study is achieved if student learning activities reach at least 70%. This research was conducted in class VII A of SMPN 22 Pontianak, with a total of 32 students, consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students. The analysis results show that the implementation of the research aimed at increasing activity experienced an improvement of 13,43%, with the average score in cycle 1 being 70,00% and in cycle 2 being 83,43%. The aspects of activity in the study have the highest results in students are listening activities and visual activities both aspects have a high percentage with the results of 94,00%-100,00%. The implementation of the cooperative learning model assisted by Flashcards was successfully applied in the teaching and learning activities as it could increase student activity. Keyword: Cooperative Learning Model; Student Activity; Flashcards; Classification of Living Things Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan partisipasi dalam belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Indikator pencapaian keberhasilan penelitian ini dicapai jika aktivitas belajar siswa mencapai minimal 70%. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII A SMPN 22 Pontianak dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang, terdiri dari 18 siswa perempuan dan 14 siswa laki-laki. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penelitian yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13,43%, dengan hasil rata-rata pada siklus 1 adalah 70,00% dan siklus 2 adalah 83,43%. Aspek aktivitas dalam penelitian yang memiliki hasil tertinggi pada siswa adalah mendengarkan penjelasan guru dan memperhatikan guru menjelaskan kedua aspek tersebut memiliki persentase tinggi dengan hasil 94,00%-100.00%. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan Flashcard berhasil diterapkan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. Abstract

The teacher's resolution is the planning or movement of change that the teacher makes in the learning process in the classroom so that learning can go well. The aim of this study is to find out the problems faced by teachers of Islamic religious education when they study PAI in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, as well as the factors that caused obstacles or challenges in PAI learning in the age of the industrial revolution 4.0. Field research or case studies is a type of research that uses techniques and data processing such as observations, interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing techniques include credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Data analysis techniques also include data collection, data reduction, and data appearance. (data display). The results of this study show that the change of times can have a considerable impact on the world of education, including the learning of Islamic education. At 1 Rasau Jaya Kubu Raya State High School, PAI teacher has completed the challenge of learning Islamic religious education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, so it can be concluded that the resolution is running well and well received by students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis unsur etika dan moral dalam konsep pengabdian yang ditampilkan dalam novel Mori Sensei karya Akutagawa Ryunosuke. Novel ini menggambarkan kehidupan seorang guru yang sangat berdedikasi terhadap murid-muridnya, tetapi pengabdiannya menimbulkan dilema moral mengenai batasan dalam dunia pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori etika deontologis Kant dan utilitarianisme Mill, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana tindakan Mori Sensei mencerminkan perdebatan etis antara kewajiban profesional dan dampak pengorbanannya terhadap dirinya sendiri.Melalui metode analisis isi terhadap unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik novel, ditemukan bahwa pengabdian Mori Sensei berakar pada prinsip idealisme pendidikan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada transfer ilmu, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter murid. Namun, pengorbanan pribadinya memunculkan dilema mengenai keseimbangan antara tanggung jawab profesional dan kesejahteraan pribadi. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya diskusi mengenai etika pengabdian dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam konteks sastra Jepang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the causes of the suboptimal STAD cooperative learning model in developing children's social-emotional, find out the factors that hinder the STAD cooperative learning model in developing children's social-emotional, as well as solutions for the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model in developing children's social-emotional. The research method used descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was conducted using observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis used the theory of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and data confidence testing using data triangulation. This research is located at Mutiara Hati Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Kota Baru District, Jambi City. The results showed that the implementation of the cooperative learning model in developing children's social-emotional skills at Mutiara Hati Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Kota Baru District, Jambi City still needs to be optimised again because many children have improved their social development through the STAD type cooperative learning model with the implementation, application, and evaluation of teachers and principals. The conclusion from the findings of this study is that the STAD model is proven effective in improving children's social-emotional development. Qualitative analysis showed that students felt more confident and were able to communicate well within the group. In addition, skills such as empathy and conflict management were also seen to increase, not only improving children's academic results, but also preparing them to become better individuals socially and emotionally

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Way kerap mata pelajaran IPAS tentang tumbuhan sumber kehidupan di bumi. Penerapan metode pembelajaran yang belum tepat diduga menjadi factor yang berpengaruh terhadap capaian pembelajaran sehingga belum optimal. Menjadi penting untuk mengukur dampak penerapan metode mind mapping dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Sebagai subjek penelitian, adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah total 28, terdiri dari 16 laki-laki dan 12 Perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar berdasarkan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 65 menjadi 75 pada siklus II. Ketuntasan hasil belajar juga menunjukkan peninggkatan sebesar 43%. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan sebesar 39% menjadi 82% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping dalam pembelajaran IPAS berdampak positif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates the significant influence of music on cognitive development and focus training in early childhood. The research highlights that music—particularly through engaging children's songs—plays a crucial role in enhancing cognitive skills. The literature review encompasses various studies demonstrating the positive effects of music on children's attention and working memory. These cognitive functions are essential for academic success, as children with better attention spans and memory capabilities tend to perform more effectively in tests and classroom activities. Moreover, the study indicates that participation in musical activities fosters social interaction and collaboration among children, further supporting their cognitive growth. Additionally, the findings reveal that music can help reduce anxiety and stress levels in young learners. A calm and pleasant musical background creates a soothing atmosphere, enabling children to concentrate more effectively on their learning tasks. This stress reduction is associated with improved cognitive performance, as children become less distracted by anxiety and more focused on their studies. The study also identifies gaps in the existing body of research and proposes that integrating music into early childhood education curricula may offer a comprehensive approach to supporting cognitive development. By incorporating music as an effective learning medium, educators, parents, and curriculum designers can enhance children's overall development, ensuring they are better prepared to face academic challenges. Ultimately, this study seeks to enrich the understanding of music's role in early childhood education and its potential benefits for both cognitive and emotional growth.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to address observed issues in schools where the surroundings appear unclean with scattered litter. Poor management practices serve as a warning to take concrete actions towards creating a clean, comfortable, and waste-free school environment. Based on this, SDN Banua Anyar 9 implemented "P5 Berkarya Melalui Sampah" (P5 Creating Through Waste). Data collection methods included observation, file collection, and interviews with P5 project leaders and participating teachers at SDN Banua Anyar 9. Additionally, documentation included photos of student activities during the P5 implementation. The stages involved in applying the "P5 Berkarya Melalui Sampah" project at SDN Banua Anyar 9 were: 1) Introduction; 2) Contextualization; 3) Action; 4) Reflection and Follow-up. Results indicated significant student achievements in producing original works in the dimensions of faith and piety towards God, ethics towards nature including environmental preservation showing significant progress. In the creative dimension, producing original works and actions showed significant development. In the cooperation dimension, teamwork goals showed significant progress. The project successfully strengthened the student profile in Pancasila values through waste creativity at SDN Banua Anyar 9, evident in thorough planning, execution aligned with planning, and student achievements indicating substantial development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the early childhood education curriculum in supporting children's school readiness. The method used in this research is a literature review. The author collected various documents and research articles related to early childhood education curriculum and school readiness. School readiness is a key foundation for children's success in formal education. The Early Childhood Education curriculum plays an important role in supporting children's school readiness. The main approach in early childhood education curriculum is play-based and child-centered learning. A well-designed early childhood education curriculum not only focuses on academic aspects but also develops social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills holistically. A play-based and child-centered curriculum significantly contributes to children's readiness for primary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan loose parts sebagai media edukasi dalam mendorong kreativitas dan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini di RA Ar-Raihan. Anak usia dini, yang didefinisikan sebagai fase perkembangan sejak lahir hingga enam tahun, merupakan periode penting untuk membentuk kemampuan kognitif, termasuk keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan berpikir logis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan observasi langsung, wawancara dengan guru, dan pengumpulan dokumentasi kegiatan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema utama terkait penggunaan loose parts. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan penalaran logis, kreativitas, dan keterampilan emosional-sosial di kalangan anak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada pendidik tentang pentingnya pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal dan mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kerja sama anak usia dini yang belum terstimulasi secara optimal melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Permainan tradisional dipilih sebagai intervensi karena bersifat inklusif, menekankan nilai-nilai kebersamaan, serta secara alami melibatkan interaski sosial anak, mudah di akses dan mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan serta partisipatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara empiris pengaruh ragam permainan tradisional terhadap kemampuan kerja sama anak usia 4–5 tahun. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Design) tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design dengan subjek penelitian 20 anak dari RA Al-Qalam yang terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi pretest dan posttest, menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi kerja sama anak yang di sususn oleh peneliti berdasarkan indikator teoritis kerja sama anak usia dini. Instrumen ini menggunakan skala penilaian 4 poin untuk menilai aspek interaksi, tanggung jawab, responsif, dan inklusivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan kemampuan kerja sama anak dalam aspek berinteraksi, tanggung jawab, responsivitas, dan inklusivitas setelah mengikuti permainan tradisional. Analisis data menggunakan uji N-Gain dan uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p = 0,003 dengan ukuran efek Cohen’s d = 1,25, yang menunjukkan efek besar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kerja sama. Terlihat dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji N-Gain Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional merupakan strategi efektif dan kontekstual dalam mengembangkan kerja sama anak usia dini secara holistik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional merupakan strategi yang efektif dan kontekstual dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kerja sama anak usia dini secara holistik, dalam konteks terbatas RA Al-Qalam dengan jumlah subjek yang relatif kecil. Oleh karena itu, hasil ini bersifat awal dan masih memerlukan pengujian lebih lanjut dalam konteks dan sampel yang lebih luas.
