Students with moderate mental-retardation tend to choose learning that is concrete and interesting, as well as learning to read. Learning that is not in accordance with these tendencies has an impact on early reading skills also reduces the level of concentration of students thereby weakening students' opportunities to remember. This research was conducted to produce Fun Reading App, that is an interactive multimedia-based. It is hoped that this product can improve students’ early reading skills with moderate mental-retardation. Product is produced through research and development procedures according to the ADDIE model. The validity testing involves three experts and for the product effectivity test involves 4 students. The research shows: 1) the validity test of the product is in the criteria of valid or usable; and 2) the product effectiveness test with the Gain test is on the N-Gain score with high criteria.

This study discusses the Description of Class Teacher Professional Competence at Mi Ma'arif Patalan and his Creativity in Improving the Professional Competence of the Class Teacher. This research is a field work (field work research) with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study uses observation, documentation, and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study through data reduction, data display, and verification. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that in general, the professional competence of teachers at MI Ma'arif Patalan which was sampled as many as six teachers by this writer is good enough, but needs to be improved again especially in developing professionalism in a sustainable manner by taking reflective action. Most of the class teachers at MI Ma'arif Patalan have achieved professional competence. That is because teachers creatively seek to improve their professional competence in the following ways: (1) utilize information and communication technology, (2) use reward and punishment learning methods, (3) develop themselves by attending educational seminars and discussions between the teacher, (4) is creative in making learning media, and (5) uses the natural environment as a source of learning.

Child fine motor development is very importaint in developing child skills. fine motor skills at the age of 5-6 years as initial capital in stimulating children's writing skills needed for learning at the next education level. One of the activities that are effective in developing children's fine motor skills is through cutting activities. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data sources used were teachers, children and school principals. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that the development of fine motor skills of children through cutting activities aims to practice moving the wrists, fingers, and creativity and imagination of children. The teacher's way to improve fine motor skills through cutting activities starts from attracting children's attention, preparing attractive equipment, introducing pictures to children and letting children be creative and have their own imagination. The implications of coloring activities in developing children's fine motor skills include being proficient in using colored pencils, being able to coordinate their eyes and hands, and developing children's self-help skills.

Science learning should be taught optimally to foster the ability to think, work and act scientifically and communicate it as an important aspect of life skills. Science learning in elementary schools should emphasize providing direct learning experiences through the use and development of process skills and scientific attitudes. The teacher as the spearhead in education is obliged to create a learning situation that can encourage students to have the courage to interact when learning is in progress. Therefore, teachers must be able to use all learning tools, especially in the use of relevant learning media to create a conducive learning situation. One of the aims of this study was to improve students' ability to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy environments in the science learning process for first grade students at SDN 1 Ciwangi Kec. Limbangan Garut Regency for the 2018/2019 Academic Year. The conclusion of this study is that the use of media images has a positive influence, which can increase students' learning motivation in science lessons as indicated by students' answers stating that students are interested and interested in active learning media so that they become motivated to learn.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang profil empati. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif korelasi. Sampel yang diambil adalah 133 responden anak usia dini yang mempunyai hewan peliharaan yang terdiri dari 64 anak laki-laki dan 69 anak perempuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang data, yaitu: Kuesioner Empati yang terdiri dari empat indikator, yaitu: indikator peduli, indikatortoleransi, indikator tenggang rasa dan indikator kepekaan sosial. Hasil yang diperoleh Skor terbesar hasil penelitian ini terdapat pada indikator peduli yang memperoleh skor sebesar 413. Indikator toleransi memperoleh skor sebesar 383. Selanjutnya indikator tenggang rasa memperoleh skor sebesar 355 dan terakhir pada indikator kepekaan sosial memperoleh skor sebesar 311. Diperoleh skor tertinggi yang sama dari anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan yaitu sebesar 84. Sedangkan skor terendahnya diperoleh skor 31 dari anak laki-laki dan 43 dari anak perempuan. There are two lexical problems in children, one of which is lexical mastery itself. The purpose of this research is to photograph the lexical picture possessed by children based on the visualization of images and conversations that are carried out during interactions. The research method uses a qualitative approach with observation and recording techniques. The subjects in this study were seven children located in three different locations. The results of lexical recording in general, children can pronounce correctly according to the meaning, although in some children it is still not in accordance with the meaning or the pronunciation. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the concept of levers in science lessons. The method used is action research in class V SDN 1 Sukakarya, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles by taking the stages of planning, implementing action, observing, and reflecting. Student learning outcomes individually from cycle I, cycle II, cycle III, each cycle has increased. During the pre-cycle, the average student score on the concept of a lever was 34.66, then it increased in cycle I to 47.02, cycle II increased to 57.37 and cycle III increased to 79.71. Based on the results of the research that the application of the CTL approach can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Sukakarya on the concept of levers in science subjects.

The development of interest and reading habits should start as early as possible, but children's understanding of letter symbols is still low and they are not able to connect simple writing with the symbols that symbolize it, children are not yet able to connect syllables into a word. because children's curiosity about reading is very lacking, the lack of use of reading methods used by teachers at school so that learning to read is not optimal. This type of research is quantitative using quasi-experimental methods (quashi experiment). The results of the study are 1) the synthesis method influences the development of children's reading skills. 2) By using the synthesis method, it is easier for children to understand the recognition of letters and writing in developing reading skills, 3) The use of the synthesis method in learning activities can develop children's reading skills in recognizing letters and recognizing writing. The synthesis method has an effect on children's reading development and has a positive impact and there are improvements in the learning process, for this reason teachers need to use positive contributing methods and support successful learning.

Abstrak Beginning reading ability is an important ability to develop in children. This study aims to develop early reading skills in children using Flipbook media at TK IT Darul Hikmah Mumtaza City of Sungai Penuh. This study used a collaborative classroom action research approach. The sampling technique is cluster sampling. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif dengan persentase dan analisis kualitatif. The results showed that there was an increase in initial reading ability, namely in the pre-cycle conditions of 48.8% increased in cycle I to 60.83%, in cycle II it increased by 75% and in cycle III to 88.33% with very good development criteria. Thus it can be concluded that Flipbook media can develop children's early reading skills in the TK IT Darul Hikmah Mumtaza, Sungai Penuh City. In implication, the use of Flipbook media shows a more optimal development of early reading skills in children.
