Abstract

According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023, the contribution of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to Gross Domestic Income (GDP) reached 61%. Based on the achievement of this contribution, UMKM in Indonesia have great potential to be developed so that they can increase their contribution to the national economy. Coaching and mentoring can be carried out through the relevant agencies in their respective regions. Considering that currently in various regions Food UMKM, especially snacks, are growing rapidly, several regions have made efforts to develop Food UMKM through activities to determine regional superior food products (PUPD). For this reason, PUPD criteria are needed for UMKM and it turns out that there are many problems faced by Food UMKM in trying to meet the PUPD criteria. One of them is Dodol UMKM in South Tangerang City. Through PUPD determination activities carried out by the South Tangerang City Department of Industry and Trade together with a team of experts from the Indonesian Institute of Technology, the problems faced by Dodol UMKM in South Tangerang City have been identified, namely labor citeria, renewables, facilities and technology.

Abstract

Church ministers must continually refresh (mangarataratai) and renew their ministry (ulaon hasintuaon) to maintain its quality and ensure it leads in a positive direction. This renewal is essential because, like cell phones that need recharging or plants that require watering to grow and bear fruit, church servants also need regular spiritual and professional refreshment to remain effective in their calling. While ministers are chosen and dedicated to advancing God’s kingdom, they often encounter challenges that highlight their human frailty. Despite these challenges, faith in the empowering presence of God through Jesus Christ sustains and strengthens them. This article reports on a community service initiative (PKM) conducted at HKBP Suka Maju, involving the entire church assembly of the Tanjung Balai Resort. The initiative, through training and lectures, sought to deepen the assembly members’ appreciation of their calling and their commitment to serving as members of the HKBP church. Abstract

Stunting is still a major nutritional problem faced by the Indonesian people. From the results of the previous PKM, in RW 17 Kemirimuka there were still cases of stunting 11.11% of toddlers who attended the activity. One effort that can be made to reduce the incidence of stunting is to provide functional foods such as Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera). Moringa leaves have high vitamin C, calcium, beta-carotene, potassium and protein content, this PKM aims to provide counseling, demonstration of making functional food from Moringa leaves and anthropometric measurements in monitoring the nutritional status of toddlers at Posyandu Cempaka RW 17 Kemirimuka Village, Beji District, Depok. The 4-stage counseling method is a lecture, demonstration of making pudding from Moringa, filling out a questionnaire about the organoleptic of pudding, and measuring the anthropometry of toddlers. Based on filling out the questionnaire, it is known that making pudding from Moringa leaves is easy to do with simple and easily obtained ingredients, has a delicious taste and an attractive shape so that it is liked by toddlers. The results of anthropometric measurements show that most toddlers at Posyandu Cempaka RW 17, Kemirimuka Village, Beji District, Depok City-West Java have good (normal) nutrition and no toddler respondents were found to have poor/bad nutrition and there was no stunting. Abstract

Pendidikan abad 21 menuntut guru menguasai teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (ITC) yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Guru-guru membutuhkan pelatihan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar yang interaktif berupa elektronik modul dengan aplikasi flipbook. Flipbook mampu menggabungan teks dengan animasi, video, suara dan lain sebagainya, sehingga siswa tidak hanya dapat membaca buku tapi juga dapat berinteraksi dengan buku elektronik yang dimilikinya hal tersebut memudahkan siswa untuk belajar. Pengabdian Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika serta Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP UKI berfokus pada menghasilkan media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mengadakan Pelatihan Pembuatan Interactive Learning Module dengan Aplikasi Flipbook bagi Guru di SMA Negeri 1 Jonggol kepada para guru. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 2 hari dan diikuti oleh 61 orang guru. Pelatihan mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari guru peserta pelatihan. Dari hasil angket diperoleh respon dari peserta bahwa materi pelatihan memiliki kemampuan dalam menjawab kebutuhan guru, serta dapat disampaikan dengan kategori sangat baik (92.74%). Narasumber dinilai memiliki pemahaman, kemampuan dalam menyampaikan materi serta kemampuan dalam mengelola diskusi dengan sangat baik (93.05%). Secara keseluruhan peserta pelatihan merespon sangat baik (92.96%) terhadap terlaksananya kegiatan. Peserta kegiatan menyarankan agar memperhatikan spesifikasi komputer yang digunakan agar suport dengan software yang digunakan, pemilihan materi yang sesuai perkembangan teknologi khususnya kecerdasan buatan. Abstract

The purpose of this service is to assist the youth community, with the many benefits obtained from Kombucha Tea, it is hoped that this will become a typical Garut souvenir that can be of interest to the wider community, as well as an alternative drink to treat various health problems in the community, so that this will open up new jobs for the community. The implementation of this activity was carried out at the Majlis Taklim ar-Rahman in Sukaresmi Garut with 30 participants. The method used in this service is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which means that the community service actors directly experience the assistance of making kombucha tea in the field with the community. There are four basic themes in PAR, namely collaboration through participation, gaining knowledge, and social change. The results of this kombucha tea making assistance are making tea from available kombucha seeds, then conducting training from a certified kombucha expert and mentoring in making kombucha tea as well as packaging training and business strategies to market the products that have been produced.

Abstract

The lack of adequate physics laboratory facilities for conducting flight physics practicums in Aviation Vocational High Schools has been a significant obstacle in the learning process. Due to these limitations, students' understanding of the physics concepts underlying aviation principles has been suboptimal. To address this issue, community service activities have focused on enhancing the capacity of teachers at Gutama Aviation Vocational High School to design and implement physics practicums. Through the creation and utilization of Integrated Instrument Kits (KIT) for flight physics, it is hoped that teachers can provide more concrete and engaging learning experiences for students. With the successful development of 5 KITs, teachers now have the skills to design a variety of practical activities that meet the needs of their students. Additionally, the provided mentorship has equipped teachers with a deep understanding of physics concepts relevant to the aviation industry. It is hoped that the success of this activity can improve the quality of physics education at Gutama Aviation Vocational High School, encourage teachers to be more innovative in developing additional KITs, and prepare graduates who are more competent in the field of aviation.

Abstract

Elderly health needs special attention so that it not only helps the elderly live longer, but also can enjoy old age happily and improve their quality of life. The growth of the elderly population has a significant impact on many aspects of life. The impact of globalization has also caused family values ​​and roles to change. As a result of changes in family composition, families view the presence of the elderly in the family environment as a burden. So that more and more families choose to leave the elderly in nursing homes rather than living with family members to care for them. The purpose of this activity is to improve the health of the elderly at PSTW Budi Mulia I by implementing group activity therapy. The group activity therapy method is carried out systematically through four stages, namely pre-interaction, orientation, work, and termination. Based on the results of community service from 45 elderly people for verbal ability, 36 elderly people (80%) were able to answer 3 pictures correctly, 5 elderly people (11.1%) were able to answer 2 pictures correctly, and 4 elderly people (8.9%) were able to answer 1 picture correctly. Abstract

The bakery business, particularly dry cakes, has rapidly grown as part of the promising food and beverage industry, especially during significant religious events. To support this, the Economic Development Commission of the Church of the Christian Pasundan Synod of Jakarta and Banten is working to encourage the congregation’s economy and improve family income through the empowerment of small businesses (UMKM) in the dry cake sector, led by one of the congregation members, Mrs. Wenny Widiawati, with her business "Kuenya Afra." However, challenges include how to market the dry cakes both offline and digitally, calculate the cost of goods sold (HPP), and identify potential business risks for home-based businesses. This Community Service program aims to enhance the understanding of the importance of implementing the right marketing strategies, calculating HPP, managing business risks, and creating business accounts on social media. The conclusion from this community service activity is that the partner, especially the owner of "Kuenya Afra" and the church congregation, greatly benefited from understanding the importance of implementing digital marketing strategies to expand their customer base. Through this socialization and mentoring program, it is expected to increase entrepreneurial spirit and sales beyond the limited congregation environment. The activity was held onsite at the Gereja Kristen Pasundan Ebenhaezer Church in Cawang, Jakarta.

Abstract

Christian schools are partners with God who are called as servants in the educational mission to teach the truth about God. SMA Kristen 1 Surakarta is one of four private Christian high schools in Surakarta, with the hope that the school can guide and lead students to true, Bible-based teachings and glorify God. However, most Christian teachers still have difficulties integrating biblical Christian worldview into their learning and life. Christian ministry with sustainable activity programs needs to be carried out by providing guidance, training, and coaching for teachers. The implementation method is carried out through 3 stages, namely: 1) pre-implementation, which carried out with situation analysis and activity program planning in collaboration with partners; 2) implementation is carried out with 3 times session for teachers and staffs, offline and online; and 3) post-implementation, which are evaluation and follow-up plan. The expectation is that SMA Kristen 1 Surakarta will have the capital to carry out Christian faith-based learning that is biblical and in line with the government curriculum. The results and impact of this community service (PkM) activity are useful for teachers to develop true Christian learning which can be seen from the survey results after the training held. The conclusion is that this PkM has succeeded in having a positive impact on teachers in understanding Christian education to be able to develop correct Christian learning. Thus, this PkM activity will continue to be carried out sustainably in the next academic year targeting training and practical guidance in implementing Christian worldview in teaching and learning.

Abstract

One of the mushrooms commonly consumed by Indonesians is white oyster mushroom because it is affordable and can fulfil daily protein needs. However, the production of white oyster mushrooms in Tangerang has decreased due to the rising cost of raw materials, particularly sawdust, used in making mushroom growing media (baglog) This community service was carried out at UMKM Oemah Jamur Tangerang, located in Kemuning Village, Gang Mulya, Legok, Tangerang. The objective of this community service is to enhance the conomy of UMKM Oemah Jamur Tangerang by utilizing agricultural waste for white oyster mushroom cultivation and processing mushrooms into higher-value food products. The activities included socialization, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation. The implementation of technology involved producing baglogs using agricultural waste such as corn cobs, coffee grounds, banana barrels, rice husks and rice grains, as well as processing mushroom into food products such as white oyster mushrooms crisps and mushroom meatballs. The results of this community service indicated that the use of corn cobs resulted din faster growth of mycelium with higher yields. Processing white oyster mushrooms into mushroom crisps and mushroom meatballs can also increased the mushroom’ market value, with distinctive texture and taste characteristics, while extending their shelf life.
